Hey... this is a pretty basic question... but is there any way to add a widget into a folder?
I want to have my music control widgets in a folder, not directly on the home screen. Don't think it's possible... but figured I'd check. Thanks!

You can use apps to accomplish this, like:
Widget Folder,
SwipePad with the WidgetPad add-on,
or Wave Launcher.
Thank you!

Hey guys and gals,
Could not find a topic on this when it came to the Transformer and Honeycomb. What applications are you all using to creating folders with honeycomb? I have not found any thus far that seem to fit the bill for me so thought I would ask the masses.

I think the OP meant app folders on the homescreen. File Manager HD is great, but it doesn't do that. I'm just trying out Simi Folder Widget, but it's too soon for me to say if it's any good.
I've been using apps organizer. Open the app and organize your apps into the categories/labels. Then on home screen you add each as a widget.

Wonderful!
Thanks for the suggestions

I have been using the Folder Organizer app from the same makers as that app. I think its just a skinnied down version of the app organizer.

Well, that wasn't really obvious from what the OP wrote...

+1 on that! It interacts nicely with other apps and is regularly updated!
I didn't get why honeycomb doesn't use folders.. but i guess its okay
I've been using Circle Launcher, but I think i should try others as well, because the circle launcher icon just isn't that pretty.

I use Folder Organizer on my phone, and love it. AM trying it on the tablet, but I'm having it FC when I try to set an icon on Labels (FO's name for folders).
ADW EX Launcher
I would love to have a folder on my home screen that maps to a certain location on my internal/external storage. That way I could store documents in a certain folder in my SD card or storage, and just have a shortcut to them.
Doesn't seem possible with any of the apps listed thus far.

Because you have space for 240 app shortcuts.
Hey guys, just figured I should let you guys know there is a beta for folder organizer 3.4 available from their website (not the Market) that is optimized for Honeycomb. It shows as being used on a Xoom but I'm using it now on my Tab 10.1 without any issues, figure it should work fine for you guys too.

I would like to add overskreen to the list of apps that popup from the bottom bar when you click the upward arrow.
There is an edit button, but it only allows you to remove apps from list, not add more.
Meanwhile i am loving note 10.1 so far... its very usable!

Yeah, unfortunately those miniapps are Samsung specific so unless someone develop a custom ROM that will allow users to add other apps to the mini app list I'm afraid you will not be able to.
A good alternative it's swipe pad. You can add it there.

In the over screen browser app settings, there is an option to get it to put there.
My only knock on that browser is that it seems difficult to create folders in your bookmarks and organize them.
Also I am not clear on where it is pulling the default bookmarks it uses from. In one case it lists my Google sync address as if it is pulling my Chrome bookmarks but only pulled one folder out of 10.
Dunno, confusing.
Thats why I use Dolphin. Not the fastest browser but by far easiest to navigate and manage bookmarks.

Finally did it by installing 1 tap quickbar. Added overskreen app to the notification band.
Now I can open floating browser on top of any app!
Awesome!

I have a HTC Evo 4g LTE, love it. I am able to make folders on my home screen containing Apps. I would like to do that with my Note but can't seem to see a way to do that. Anyone know how?
Long touch the screen, select folder, after that you just drag in it apps

Nice...Not as pretty as the HTC, but does what I need.
Thanks for the quick response.
Instead of folders I use circle launcher lite it is a app launcher that works with stock touch wiz that allows quite a bit of customization of it's interface appearence.
Sorry for a noob question. How can I launch clock in this device?
The best way is to have a widget on your home screen, that way it will be available all the time. You can also tap the all app icon and launch it from the app drawer.

Yes, we have widget for clock, but I mean here I want to see application "clock" listed in application list! Because in some other applications I want to link to "clock" when I touch somewhere on.
Are you saying you want to share something with Clock? I don´t think sharing is possible with the Clock app. If you want to join something, for examle an event, in another app to launch clock then Tasker is your best bet.

I want to explain such as: I have an app, and some functions in the app, one of them is touch to launch app, when I touch on the button, the list of all apps appear but not the "clock"!
Then it can't launch the clock....
Can't launch what isn't there.
Clock is a system app so it may be you require root access to get to it, however it seems the app you are using to start these other apps may not see the system apps so you still won't get it...
Well, the title sorta describes it all. I'm missing the S Planner APK after installing a new ROM.
I think the S Planners actually really good and would like it back, because I use it quite a bit.
Sadly, I can't find it anywhere on the internet. Would anyone be kind enough to upload for me their APK file for it?
Please and thank you.
I think this is what you are looking for...
Thanks for that. Unfortunately it refuses to install. At first it was a conflict with the google calander, and now it just refuses to. I'll probably try and find a way to push it, or manually move it in.

Have you tried to remove google calendar or "force stop", then install?
Do you use Titanium backup? I can prob pull the export back up files and you could try that way?

Yeah I uninstalled it with Root Uninstaller. I don't use titanium backup. I've tried using an adb terminal but they don't seem to work the way they should, and I can't find the one I used before haha.

No, actually. It doesn't. That never occurred to me, and explains a lot. It's a heavily deoxed stock ROM. But I use X-Note Zero Edition. I'll just find the touchwiz launcher from somewhere and use that.
I am not 100 percent sure but the launcher is part of the whole Samsung experience and hooked into the OS though more than just the launcher.

Well, I know that you can't use any of the S Widgets on launchers other than the Touchwiz one - even if TW is installed. The dev of the ROM said that the framework hasn't been touched, and that he only removed all the bloat and themed the ROM. So, it could be that Touchwiz is a prerequisite for the S-Apps. Although, S-Note still works fine.
If you have s note then you should be able to get s planner
