anyone tried spinning battery????????
Well here's what spending the battery will do -
If your battery us damaged, then it would be puffed and hence battery will spin easily and if battery is alright, then it will not spin as it wouldn't be puffed out .
Simple as that X_X

Hmm,
Are you sure your using official HTC Charger ? And you don't overcharge your battery ?
Basically I guess 2 months ago I had this same problem of overheating .
I showed it to some htc officials and they told me to
Never use an unofficial charger
And never overcharge your battery for long
Even if this dosnt helps then try changing your Rom as all are saying , I would suggest you flyrom v3 as it worked for me good.
Don't try flashing sense4 by derefas (build #7) or apex sense rom as I've tried flashing both and they don't work on class4 sd card (reboots after every 5-6 seconds )
And if after changing your Rom, issue isn't solved then PM me I'll upload my CWM backup of stock Rom on dropbox. You may try it and then post your result here ,
Thanks

This is the CM9 Trebuchet launcher with a few options. Its extremely stable and fast. All credits to the CM team.
You need to push the .apk to your system apps folder or your widgets will not work. I have only tested this on synergy but it should work on any ROM. Enjoy.

What does luck have to do with it? Its pretty simple actually, Download the app, Use root explorer or ADB to push it to system/apps folder then press the home button and choose your new launcher.
If you would like to remove it, then go back into your system/apps folder and delete the apk. It is that simple..........

You are correct my friend. I just realized I put cm10 instead of cm9, OP updated.
I'll see if I can get the CM10 version working on ICS. I'm not sure if it will be as simple as changing the Android SDK version within the app itself. We'll see......

Running real smooth for me, no random reboots or anything. I have LZ set to on demand and this sucker is fast lol. I was surprised the battery life was as good as it was being so snappy like that. I even have auto brightness, auto sync'ing, weather apps, and more and still got well over a day with over 2 hours with the screen on.

I would strongly suggest it. Just make a good backup first. You know you can use cwm to make a full backup, then use advance restore to restore apps (data)... or you can also use a 3rd party app like titanium...

you have to be rooted for deleting system apps.
deleting the mentioned app will disable the energysaver function which you can open in your drag down bar.
its not bad for the phone. you only have to know which apps are necessary for the phone and which not.
I'm rootet and deleted lots of bloatware I didn't need and my phone is running smoooooth like hell (and stable) now.
And it will be good for battey life too, because there will be less apps which consume battery in the background.
the most important thing is that you delete the right apps.
I deleted apps like friendstream, twitter, some livewallpapers and skins, skydrive, htc media link, google+, google messenger, google tasks, ringtone cutter .. and much more.
I just go to Settings-Apps-All, find 'Power' and untick 'Show Notifications' at the top. That way it doesn't show up in status bar or notifications even when enabled.

Ah ok, the option is available to me for some reason. Running Viper2.1, but it also works on ASBS. Sorry, don't know why.
I have S4 but it seems to be down to the Rom itself. Must be the stock Rom that you are on.

AW: [Q] how to remove "power saver" in status bar?
Go into system/apps , look for the apk and related odex. Delete both and reboot your phone.
If you delete them you cant use the energysaving Option anymore.

Hello,
I was wondering if you have rebooted your phone since you deleted the apk and odex file? Since you are running stock 4.1.1 It has write protection on the system partition and the changes might get reverted back.

ok,so i have been facing this problem since months now and couldnt find any solution to it..here it goes
1. my phone is connected to the charger showing 58 percent batt. and i reboot my phone while the phone is still charging
2. after reboot the battery surprisingly
shows 79%....
3. if i reboot it once again,it goes upto 98%. :what: :what:
This results in a fast battery drain.. :banghead:
So,any solutions...?? And is anyone else facing this problem??..or its just me!

Use Better Battery stats and know exactly about your battery..
Or you can try to recallibrate your battery

I cannot find a solution but the possible reason is it takes the additional power stats from ongoing charging and boosts the battery percentage while booting up.. I face the same problem, so i reboot it with charger disconnected.
