In-app purchase filtering - Android General

Google Play allows to browse for free applications. Hovewer with introducing in-app purchase it's useless. In-app purchase makes many games a demo. Is there an application which allow for filtering for true free applications? I think google should mark apps with in-app purchase so it would be clear for everybody who install. Now I need to dig through comments to know it.
Next thing is lack of ability to completely block in-app purchase. I'm afraid to leave my daughter with my phone and game using in-app purchase. It's like giving monkey a gun...

Lately AppStore shows " In-app purchase" in applications's description

And now a have it in google play. Why it's mixed with totally free apps?

While not answering all your questions, you can set a password for app purchase. If your daughter can remember a 26 characters alphanumeric password containing uppercase, lowercase, special characters and numbers then I lift my hat to her.

Yeah I did something like this... But filtering should be fair. If somebody gives totally free application, no ads, no demo (in-app purchase very often mean this), not crippled in any way, it must fight with app that has budget to promote it, but isn't free at all, because most features without in-app purchase doesn't work. Yet both are in the same category

I especially hate PTC (Pay To Cheat) "games" - I say games in quotes because it's not really fair to even call them games anymore when you can, or even in some cases have to, pay to win. Clash Of Clans is one example.
Google is breaking their promise to "do no evil" by continuing to host apps such as Clash Of Clans.
It makes me extremely frustrated that I don't see any options in the Google play app to filter out apps with "in app purchases".
I wonder how hard it would be for us to add that (mod/patch) to the Play app?

It's good idea for xposed module

[APP][2.2+] Simbal, an electronic checkbook app

Simbal
Your money, simply balanced
Hey guys, I wanted to share an app that I made recently with you. It's called Simbal, and it's an electronic checkbook app. The name Simbal comes from "Simple Balance".
I made Simbal because, like many people, I have various bank accounts that I need to keep track of. Unfortunately, my bank's app is always behind by a few days, so it's practically useless. And while I do have a checkbook, I always find myself putting off recording my receipts and purchases until later.
So, I decided to combine the practicality of a checkbook with the convenience of a smartphone! Simbal allows you to create and track an unlimited number of checkbooks and transactions. It also has home screen widgets (Or lock screen, if you're running at least 4.2) that allow you to track the balance of specified checkbooks and add transactions directly from the widget.
Simbal has ads, but they can be turned off though in app purchases. But they're more like donations, because I don't believe in buying functionality, so I've provided 5 different donation amounts. All of them just turn off ads.
If you like what you're hearing, please go check out Simbal on the Play Store here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bkp.simbal
Or on the Amazon app store here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DRKP2VW/ref=mas_pm_simbal
(You can find screenshots there too)
I'm totally open to comments, and Simbal is definitely still in active development. (If you'd like, you could even leave me a review in the Play Store) Thanks for your time!

There's a donate option in the menu. The way it's done is through an in app purchase. There are five different preset donation amounts, all of them do the same thing, which is to remove ads. The only reason I provide multiple amounts is so that people could donate more if they wanted to.

Our new Word Game will now be launched - marketing advice

Hi everybody
We have recently finished our word game - where real players battle online in pairs in short 60 second rounds. We are now finalizing our marketing strategy and would love your input from your experiences.
We have bought some banner ads, done a bit of ASO and bought paid reviews on certain key web sites. Has anyone got anything to add, stuff to stay away from, or websites they gave them amazing results.
The game is called WordWarX - Word Games from 1303Productions
Many thanks.
David.
The free version app is here:
id=com.wordwarx.bas&hl=en
You better watchout for paid review , sometimes you get banned by google because some of those website if not all of them use robot to submit reviews and not actual people

[GAME][4.0+][FREE] MoWo, your next (and last) word game

Hey guys, just wanted to make mention of my word game app, MoWo (short for More Words). It's basically a simple, minimalistic word game I made in a month based on a custom-made game engine. In single player mode, you can play against a timer or without a timer (endlessly), and in multiplayer mode you can play against friends/strangers. It supports Facebook integration as well as a custom username login service.
Now, why not integrate with Google Play Games Services? One word: multiplatform. I plan on releasing this game on iOS (and Windows Phone?) as well so using G+ Games/Login would not suffice due to iOS's lack of Google+ multiplayer support. So to future-proof my game, I use Facebook and a username login. People have complained about this but I'm sure they won't be when they're able to play against their iOS friends.
The game is free to download, no ads, and only one cosmetic (unhindering) IAP to unlock more letter colors, which can be unlocked through regular gameplay anyway.
Download link to Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nasahapps.morewords
I'm always updating the app to fix any unforeseen bugs or add any little cosmetic features, so if there's anything wrong or feel needs to be improved, just shoot me an email at [email protected].

Where to get offline apps?

Is there a site where people mod old/dead games to be playable offline? I miss a few games I used to play, no longer available, and wanted to know if anyone knows a place where modders have messed with old apps to remove the server connectivity from them?
Is this too ambitious of a dream? I don't know how hard it would be to remove that particular component of a game, probably not very easy, I'd imagine.

There is this one site I know of, however it violates the terms of service I believe if I send you a link. Besides, a lot of those 3rd party app stores which have free apps may contain malware, I only use them on a dummy phone. If you are trying to play games such as angry birds then yea you can play it offline. If you are trying to play a game and want to remove ads, I remember lukcy-patcher was good for it. If you wanna play a game such as super mario run, then that is not possible since that game requires you to be connected online since nintendo doesn't want this type of behavior.

I'm aware of the malware many sites that distribute APKs are plagued with, I virustotal every APK before installing, if I do elect to download from a seedy site at all.
As for what I'm looking for, like I said in my original post, I'm looking for playable versions of games that are dead, and removed from service and mainstream distribution. Games like Tekken Card and Evilbane. Both of these games used to be playable without a connection, you'd just earn less rewards for in-game missions if you weren't connected to servers. I just want to find a way to play them again, as the servers are offline for those games and other games like them.

[APP][6.0+] Free Lot.io | The 100% free lottery

In the past I have downloaded a few different apps from the Play store that let you do scratchers to gain coins, where you watch an AD to play. Enough free coins got you enough for a free gift card. Problem is every one of these apps is a scam, and if you read the recent reviews you can see just that. People get their accounts locked before they can cash out.
So I developed Free Lot.io, the 100% free lottery with PayPal winner verification's at the end of each month. When in the app you watch a short video ad to claim your free ticket. Right now the cap is 7 times per day with potential to increase up to 10 times per day. In the app you can also see the total amount for the month so far, this will increase faster as more people start using the app (The more that play, the more we pay). At the end of the month we have a script that will randomly selects a winner. The winner can win a total of up to $10,000 if the jackpot pool is that high, if the Jackpot pool is over $10,000 then a second winner will be selected up to $10,000. For example if the total loto pool is at $23,000 there would be 3 winners, the first receiving $10,000 the second getting $10,000 and the third getting $3,000. It's that simple, no data logging, no excessive personal information, and no permissions required/requested. You must be 18 years or older to use this app, and create an account. I am very excited to be sharing this with the community. And we're excited we did our first payout the other day! All winner verifications are located on our Instagram located here Instagram

We confine within all of Google Play's terms and conditions. Since this is a sweepstakes app (No money involved from the user), we don't have to worry about the gambling aspect of it. Google has reviewed the application and approved it's spot on Google Play.
Really interesting idea. App seems to work fine.
I'm aware this is a beta but to polish it you could change the toasts to snackbars and add progress bars/spinners for when you register/login as well as perhaps add some haptic feedback.
