Dear forum members,
In case you are interested about rom flashing in your device as:
- Installing a new radio version and
- Trying another imgfs of other official builds
then you can post your device about info in order to be developed.
I will also provide an analysis of the the rom:
RUU_Spark_HTC_Europe_1.10.401.04_Spark_5.52.09_REL EASE
provided by Football, in order for all to know what there is inside.
Flashing is as simple as that:
Set the device in boot loader mode
- From power on, press power off and hold volume down and wait up to tricolor screen be displayed. Release volume down.
- From power off, press power on and hold volume down and wait up to tricolor screen be displayed. Release volume down.
Connect it to your laptop/PC with a USB cable and double click on the provided ROMUpdateUtility.exe
Follow the on screen instructions as usual.
In case of emergency, say if flashing has stuck in 0% or other percentage do this:
Press and Hold the power button until the device will reboot.
Reboots to normal operation due to it is connected with the USB cable to a PC/Laptop.
Important note:
We flash a ROM when we have an initial ROM backup for our device
in order to flashback again to our initial ROM.

Hi,
The correct fw version is:2250.09.10906.162 (dot missing in 2250.0910906.162)
so your initial rom is something like this:
RUU_Spark_XXX__YYY_1.09.162.06_Spark_5.50.09.15_22.23.50.09U
but the operator XXX__YYY is missing.
Is it a EUROPEan, VODA, SFR, UK, DE, ORANGE, Tmobile or what?

I got a new Trophy as a replacement by Insuance in UK and would like to replace the ROM. When I power on I can see Vodafone and whole load of crap installed on it. Which latest ROM can I download/flash based on the information provided below?
I would preferably like to get rid of all the preinstalled apps by vodafone and flash a custom tweaked rom like other HTC devices?
The terminalogy NoDo, Branded and unbranded ROM's I am unable to decipher. what is the difference between them and which do I use?

Your phone ROM is compatible with all ROMs of RUU_Spark_Vodafone_ELL_ type
Threads with [ROM] include PreNoDo ROMs
Threads with [NoDo ROM] NoDo ROMs!!
Unbranded ROMs for your operator start with RUU_Spark_Vodafone_ELL_ but bearing a CV different from 168
Now you run a NoDo updated ROM

it's a vodafone branded trophy, and i treid vodafone germany, vodafone uk, vodafone spain and vodafone ell.
Also tried htc europe.
rom version is 1.09.172.06 and i didn't find anything mating to this...

yeah, its almost the same. only difference is that i had Firmware revision number: 2250.09.10972.168
I said had, because i flashed yesterday with the nodo update so ist unbranded now.
don't know how it worked because before it just wouldn't update, an all of the sudden with the same y-cable, goldcard and sd-reader the phone updated
but i still don't know wich provider was mine.....

T-Mobile UK released offical Mango Update today, included Internet Sharing.
Just updated via Zune after news update on WPcentral.

Stuck on Restarting your Phone
I upgraded my handest (like many of us did) to 7720 RTM maually, and yesterday after getting my notification that an update was available was keen to get it installed...
I started teh process through Zune however it keeps getting stuck on "Restarting your Phone" and it looks like the phone wont restart. Any ideas?
