hi guys I was wondering what was the purpose of the right side knob I am aware that the left side knob is for sensibility but before touching the other one I'm curious to know what it is.
Thanks

+1 only thing I can think of is the different pen tips (nibs )
http://smartphones.wonderhowto.com/...ensitivity-for-better-touch-response-0140084/
If you view that link, it shows you how to change the sensitivity of the spen by turning the LEFT knob under the spen button. OP would like to know what turning the right knob will do.
I personally have wondered and looked, but never found the answer.
If you know the answer and you post it, I am offering a hug to you.
Preset warrantee period? (joke... ok)

You are talking about the potentiometers under the button. The left one is for sensitivity and the right one is for the offset i.e. the depth from the pen to the screen.

I agree 100%. I guess I'm used to my Hermes stiffness (I had modified it to be stiffer than stock).
Can it be used right handed only without the inner portions of your hands activating something on the edge panel?

Yea I have never turn on the edge panel when I didn't want to.
So it works very well.
Also you can 180° the phone and use it with the edge on the other sode. There will be a virtual button at the bottom for home, back and app window.
Agreed. The guys at Samsung got this one right... it works pretty damn good in both hands.

Yes, it works extremely well. Like xile6 said, you can use it left handed with soft keys at the "bottom". This is one of the best Samsung devices I've ever used (I work in a telecom company and use 20+ various Samsung devices a day.)
Excellent to know guys, thank you.
I was hoping you guys could help me out with something. If you put your finger on the fingerprint scanner and try to move the button/tilt it up and down about the center (not click) but sort of like rock back and forth - does it move slightly? I can distinctly feel it move a bit like a see-saw while keeping your finger at he center of the button.
I am just trying to figure out if I have a lemon or if its normal.

You're right... you ARE OCD
Seriously though, it doesn't wobble, rock, tilt, or move. It is a button though, so it's not 100% rigid either. The keys on my laptop have more wiggle than this fingerprint reader does and they really don't move either. You're probably just perceiving the vertical movement of the button as you apply pressure to it.
Mine does not move either. When I press lightly on the button, it feels like it is a part of the solid back of the phone. How long have you had the phone? Perhaps over time, the button of the fingerprint module loosens?

Its not a obvious movement. It can probably be described as a slight vertical movement at the extreme upper and lower edge of the scanner, making it feel like a see saw. Very slight. I cant see it. i can only slightly feel it.
Its like how if you move extremes of a circular disc balanced on a cone.
Greetings human beings,
I have this little issue and was wondering is some of you also have this problem.
When you tap the back side of the phone or you lay it down on a hard surface, the inside of the phone feels a little bit like a spring. it isn't an annoying issue, but it certainly is there.
Greetings from the Netherlands
Yeah tap on bottom right on the back. You will feel that spring . May be the vibration motor. But annoying yes
Sent from my ONEPLUS A6000 using Tapatalk
Yep, just like what my old Galaxy S3 did.

I can confirm this. I hadn't noticed until you just mentioned it. Doesn't bother me but it is likely the vibration motor.

I don't find this an issue I just see this as some random little thing you picked to complain about it's not even noticable unless you point it out

That is so weird. IT moves all over the place. Maybe because thumbs are further apart? No problems with two fingers. Weird

No issues here. Check mine.
Maybe it is the pre-installed protection glass?
Same issue here. You can test it with a multi touch tester app. You will see the two touches merging into one and then splitting in two, and that goes on and on.
My guess is that a firmware update might solve this, but OnePlus should really be informed.
OP would you mind submitting a bug report through the Community app?
I'll do
Edit: done
Edit 2: it is not the pre-installed protection glass
Same here. I found out that is related to some electrostatic issue when touching the bottom of the device. Otherwise this won't happen. Let me know.
EDIT: confirmed, even without touching the bottom. Can you link the bugreport?

For the record, i am experiencing the exact same problem. More details here. Waiting for a fix.
I don't have a screen protector installed.

This is exactly what I experience. Touching the bottom of the phone at the same time as I touch the screen will give me these issues.
Same here what production date are your devices? Mine is 2019.06.03
