[Q] No network after flashing Ice Cream Sandwich Samsung Galaxy S

Please excuse me if this is in the wrong section, I am completely new to the forum.
Phone- GT i9000
Basically I have just flashed 'teamhacksung's CM9 ALPHA for Galaxy S (BUILD 16)' ROM from the stock galaxy s 2.3.4 firmware but I have noticed I don't have access to the o2 UK network but it still lets me view my sim toolkit. My phone is unlocked to any network and I have never had this problem before (I had Cyanogen Mod 7) So yeah could anybody tell me how I can get the network back?
Heres some additional details from the status menu if needed...
Network- 02-UK
Mobile network type- HSPDA:9
Service status- Out of service
Roaming- Not roaming
Mobile network state- Disconnected
IMEI- 004999010640000
IMEI SV- 01
Also I am on pay as you go if thats of any relevance...

Can't Use Mobile Internet with Cynagen Mod 9

I recently installed Cynagen Mod 9 on my Samsung Galaxy S2 AT&T version. I installed google apps too. I can use wifi ok but when I try to use my mobile internet it doesn't work. It is enabled in settings. I do have a data plan and could use it without any roms installed. Please Help!!!

I know this on other CM roms too. After long used wifi the mobile net doesnt wake up... only a reboot helps me, sometimes the change between 2G and 3G modus helps.

Samsung GT-P3100 only works with radio 1800MHS

Hi all,
I have Samsung tab GT-P3100 7 inches.
It works great with 1800mhz supported sim card. When I put 900mhz sim card in it. It shows "No sim card"
I have been faced this problem P1000 tab too.
Kindly someone guide that either it is hardware issue or some functions of radio not working.

Please guide and need your help

I rooted may be try a different rom as cm10 from www.teamhacksung.org
Try to play with connection setting in setting and try to be like your other (solved tab)
See manual if it supports 900 range
Tray to switch airplane mode off then off then wait
Try to switch between 3g and 2g networks from setting then reboot
Try to enable mobile data from setting and reboot

i have a samsung galaxy s2 hd (SHV E-120k)
with OS 4.1.2 running
how do i root it
i wanna root it coz i cant change the network mode in this phone
cant use skype or viber coz the network keeps changing from gsm to 3g
does any one know to change the network mode only to 3g or only to gsm??
if not how do i get root access ???

i have bought gfive g6 mobile yesterday everything is perfect only the problem is network mode is disable so i cant use 3g
as the screen shot jellybean is there anyway to enable the network mode?

did press data button, i think there will option for on/off

your phone or the mobile operator you use doesn't support 3G... try a 3G Sim card.. if it doesn't show then your phone doesn't have the 3G Radio built in it...

sir my network is 3g enabled and i think if there is no builtin radio in phone then there would be no network mode as u can see there is network mode but its disabled

only its disable might be because of jellybean 4.2.2?

It seems your phone doesn't have 3G modem

The problem is not because of 4.2.2 , your phone doesnt have 3G Radio, i have used videocon A24 it has network mode disabled as like as yours.. but it doesnt have a 3G Radio.. If you think that your phone have 3G Radio then contact the customer care...

i think its tdcdma is there anyway to change frequency from tdcdma to wcdma
