[Q] SGH-I317 AT&T Note 2 DN3 v3.2 (Ditto Note 3)

I have an AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 2 SGH-I317 which I had installed DN3 v3.1.1 LTE Edition (choosing N7105 during installation) on without any issues. I used the following thread to do so:

I then saw the following thread to upgrade to DN3 v3.2 by E-Team (Vegeta Edition):

Well I did not notice this upgrade was for the N7100 model. I installed and was able to flash and run the new ROM. The only problem is that my cell/modem does not work. I tried to install using each modem option included (MK4, MK9 & ML4) but was unable to get cell reception with any of them. I just receive the circle strike through symbol where the connection bars should be in the notification bar.
I also went to settings, more networks, mobile networks to update the APN, but receive the error "Insert SIM card to access network services".
Is there a modem zip file I may flash or anything else to get the cell working and keep this version of Ditto Note 3?
I tried to post this in the above thread, but I just registered to ask this question and says I need 10 posts before posting in develop-related forums.
Any help or direction to a pertinent thread would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem. They say to flash the mj5 bootloader but the sgh-i317 won't take that bootloader. I was forced to flash back to stock and then flash the mj4 bootloader in order to even get dn3 3.1.1 to work for me. I too have seen the upgrade option but don't want to lose my modem again real pain in neck. I too would like some help or a solution for us att users. Thanks

Problem with Galaxy S4-I9505 not accessing Network

Hi there,
First of all my galaxy S4 international version suddenly stopped reading or accessing the cellular network after updating from 4.2.2 to 4.3.
Note that: I bought my mobile from Kuwait and i am currently relocated to Egypt.
I heard about the Regional locking samsung did but i don't know if this is the issue or what?
So if you could help me to revert/downgrade back to 4.2.2 to get rid of this new feature samsung added to the new 4.3?!
btw I am currently on cyanogenmod 10.2
please any help would be appreciated.

The ragional locking should be mentioned on device's original box.
Are you unable to make/receive calls, or getting 'network unavailable' message?
If true- try to flash stock rom available for your country in sammobile etc.
If not- try to reconfigure your APN settings depending on your carrier,
Or try to find appropriate flashable modem in I9505 thread

hey guys im new here
and needed some urgent help
i just purchased a used note 2 today N7100(unlocked international)
it was on version 4.1.1 official samsung
i flashed with odin to 4.3 indian stock rom.
now the phones working but the sim card is not registered on the network. it says emergency calls only.
i checked the phone its not at all black listed and the guy from whom i purchased was using it with his sim in it.
it cozed issues only after i flashed it to 4.3. also this is a phone from dubai as the guy told me.
the imei no is showing still but the network wont get registered. plz help asap!! thanks in advanced.

have you tried using other sims? maybe its not compatible with your specific sim.
maybe you just dont have any coverage, when i get the "not registred on network" message, it usualy means i'm underground, or in a place with low cell coverage, like in the woods or mountains.

The phone is factory unlocked so no issues related to not compatible and I tried with another sim too. Still the same problem. The problem only came when I flashed the 4.3 Indian stock rom. But that rom doesn't have any problem coz I've used on other note 2 too. Something related with the phone.

Hi there if you go into settings and then about device and then status you will be able to see if you have a service state if you don't have any but the network operator appears as well as signal stats. You most likely have a black listed iemi or something happened to the iemi when flashing the rom or more simple is the sim slot is broken. Hopefully you will be able to fix it sorry I can't give you that much help on this subject.

propably your efs is corrupted, ALWaYS BACKUP EfS BEFORE DOING REFLASH!

[Completed] [Q] Flashed CM12 To Galaxy S5(SM-G900F) and now I have no cell service

Hey everyone. I recently flashed the new CM12 rom to my Galaxy S5 and mostly everything works fine. The only problem I have is I can't make calls and/or send text messages. My carrier is Sprint and my model was formerly SM-G900P however after I flashed CM12 it now says SM-G900F. Whenever I click on mobile plan it says "Sprint has no known provisioning website". I can't even access the APN settings. Can someone please help me fix this, I love CM12 and would rather not go back to stock. I have no problems with my IMEI/MEID number, and under Status in settings my phone number still comes up however for Network it says "Searching for Service" and for Mobile Network Type it says "Unknown", it also says "Disconnected" for Mobile Network state. Is their any way to fix this?

Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. From what I can see you have the Sprint S5 (CDMA) but it looks as though you've flashed a ROM for the GSM model. GSM and CDMA are totally different mobile technologies so using a GSM ROM on a CDMA device will result in exactly what's happened to you. Where did you find the ROM that you flashed? Can you provide a link please?

Make sure you bookmark that page. Make sure you only ever use ROMs/kernels/mods/modems etc from within that specific device forum for your device. There are many different variants of the S5 and you can't mix and match ROMs, this time you probably got lucky but flashing the wrong firmware can very easily brick your device.

SM-N910H 3g network issue.

Hello everyone I'm new to XDA so sorry if this is the wrong way to ask a question, i have a Galaxy note 4 (SM-N910H) recently updated to MM via Nepal firmware but i live in India and I use vodafone sim, but i'm unable to select 3g (WCDMA) network as it gets no service but works fine with (GSM). so please anyone help, do i have to flash a diffrent modem or something?
