pls help me
i have a samsung galaxy s2 hd (SHV E-120k)
with OS 4.1.2 running
how do i root it
i wanna root it coz i cant change the network mode in this phone
cant use skype or viber coz the network keeps changing from gsm to 3g
does any one know to change the network mode only to 3g or only to gsm??
if not how do i get root access ???

ı have a samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 3G (3105) which is same as (3100). includes 3g connection and sms messaging but phone calls via sim card is not in use because of limitation. ı got my device in turkey and probably this problem is special for my country ı can do all with my tab except phone calls and ı am looking for a solution. is there any rooting or hack solusion for my problem ? ı searched in forum but no result.
any help is appreciated

Could be locked out in your software. I'd suggest rooting and flashing either a custom ROM, or not rooting and simply flashing a stock jelly bean ROM from Sam mobile, or checking the development pages.
Try one of the stock ROM first and flash through Odin. I did this using the Taiwan ROM and it was great.
Have since moved to CM10.1 as I wanted stock jelly bean 4.2.1

I would appreciate if any body here can share any idea if i can root my Samsung Galaxy s duos GT-S7562 and make it work with 850mhz 3G network?. Coz i have bought this phone recently and unfortuately it doesnt support 850 mhz 3g network in my area. I have previoully rooted my galaxy note withthe lattest jellybean firmware and i really hope i can do with this too....thank you very much.
I know not the same issue but I just got the same phone. I have tried to unlock it. But first i have tried to root it with "wrong" root file (which was for Galaxy S3). Now it is not starting at all. The firmware was 4.0.4. Is there any way to find the right root file for this phone?

Guys i just bought Galaxy S4 VE Black Edition Model I9515 (LTE version). Its bought from Dubai. Now am using this in Pakistan. All the things working fine except i am facing problem to enable LTE option. In network mode i didnt find any selection for LTE. Even i am using 4G Enable Sim and in 4g coverage area. Its updated to current version of 4.4.2. Phone is not Rooted. Can anybody tell me how i can resolve this problem. I didnt find yet Rooting method for this model and also let me know if i can install ROM for different region on this phone to enable the LTE. Please help

i also had the same problem the same model mobile sent to my brother as a gift from saudi arab and today eventually he get this problem solved for the sum of 300pkr rupees and now he can use 4g on his Galaxy S4 VE Black Edition Model I9515 (LTE version)
To force activate 4G try this----------
open your phone's numberpad and dial the folllowing no.
*#*#4636#*#*
then go to phone information
scroll down
there will be an dropdown arrow
click on it and choose LTE only
hit thanks button if it worked
i got samsung galaxy grand duos and it doesn't support 4g lte
and i've tried to activate with this code *#*#4636#*#* but it did not work also
so if anyone knows another way to activate on my phone pls tell me

I have the galaxy tab e 9.6 (sm-t567v) verizon tab carrier unlocked i was wondering if anybody has been sucessful getting it to work on att network. Ive updated my apn settings to at&t but it still doesnt work with my sim if anybody had had sucess can they please explain
