You do know now it's illegal to use a Verizon phone on a different carrier.Just saying not trying To cause you trouble but save you headaches
Unless you legally flashed it somehow..but tmobile and Verizon run differently

[Q] Can she keep her line?

Hi guys, I've been searching for this answer a lot recently and were hoping all of you fine users could resolve it for me.
You see right now I'm on Verizon and I want to switch to Sprint for a cheaper line (and for the new Evo,) but my mom wants to stay on Verizon. Today we tried getting the 2 yr. Contract Evo on Amazon and it told her it would have to cancel out her whole Verizon contract, which we don't want. So is it possible for her to have the Verizon and Sprint lines both under her name with out canceling the Verizon one?
Bumpity bump

I think you can

Probably a dumb question. Vzw sg3 on other USA carrier?

Looking at getting off Verizon, do not want to get another contract.
What is the status of our phone working on hspa? I've read in the development forum that in parts of Europe it gets hspa speeds as well as 3g so it's a Verizon thing?
Am rooted, unlocked yadda yadda running paranoid android rom.
Thx all.

Sell your phone for $300+, get a new one on your new carrier for less. Why keep it?

Thanks, but I am looking to set up on a prepaid service more or less. Guess I should have mentioned that in the op.

Won't work on US HSPA. There is a bounty thread in the forum trying to get it to work. Get another phone as other poster recommended. Will get EVDO speed. My other Rezound is Global on TMobile get EVDO only. Everything else will work tho.

sch I535 with straight talk?

Hello, Im a rookie here, I cant seem to find a clear answer without having PRO DEV skills. All I want to know is, can I use my verizon galaxy s3 with straight talk gsm service in the united states? I realize it is a CDMA phone, but if im not mistaken it has a GSM radio in it. I read somewhere all I needed to do was download an app called "phone status" and change the settings to wcdma and insert a att sim card in. That seems too easy and I dont want to go blow $100 on a sim chip and phone card for nothing. Thanks in advance for any insight!
Verizon hasn't unlocked it yet for use on other networks. Jellybean leaks include the option in settings though. I'm not sure if it works

Yes and no. It depends on the market you are signing up in. GSM coverage is **** where iI live so all of the straightTalk phones here are CDMA.
It all really depends on what carrier they partnered with in your area.

SCH-I535 flash to Straight talk?
I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 can it be flashed to Straight Talk? I keep getting a sim card error. I try switching sims only find it doing the same thing. So I really dont want to use the sim card method. Can I just use a straight talk donor phone that I already have and use the info on the straight talk donor in the s3?

Customer service help

I have been having problems with my S3 for a while and am on my third phone. Problems are still happening and they are legitimate issues. I have talked to tier 2 support many times and talked to a couple supervisors too. My question to everyone is is there anyone I can call above the supervisor?

I usually try to with with customer service not tech support

I apologize, "I UNDERSTAND." This really pisses me off, so I just gave up trying to get another replacement, already on my 4th.... I UNDERSTAND... F U man..
But if you want to make it easier on you call corporate and harass them politely.
I'm on my 6th..

What kind of problems are you having?
Verizon generally doesn't let you speak to any higher than a supervisor. The bigger fish generally are not even in the same office as the Verizon reps you talk to on the phone. However, you can submit a complaint and insist that someone with authority call you back. They will sometimes you. Its worth a shot. It worked for me on my htc thunderbolt.

If you call Verizon, they'll give you an email address to write to. Just be really insistent. Good luck!

T-Mobile Custom Roms for my Sprint D710

Hey guys
I think this question has been asked a lot but I can't seen to find an accurate answer.
I have this sprint galaxy 2 that I no longer use but want it to be a mp3 player with WiFi. I am thinking to flash it with a T-Mobile rom that I like. I hate the sprint activation that pops up everytime I reboot. I know the T-Mobile rom doesn't. Will there be any kind of problem.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
