Hi, have a Samsung M1 (GT-I6410) with LiMo on it...is there any possibility to mod it or to get apps without the vodavone store?
If there are any mods, please tell me
Yes, but there are none. I've only been able to install on my m1 some apps from the vodafone competition, originally destinated to h1 that i couldn't download from the app store.
I'm very disappointed with this OS. Some team is trying to port android in this phone, but so far...
I really need android on my M1,
Will be willing to beta etc, but i have no skills in the world of programming...
winter <3
still nothing?
Somebody have to port Android to this. Even i could do it if i knew how
Someone ported Android on Samsung H1.
http://samsungi8320.wordpress.com/
H1 is a similar version of M1 but with a better camera.
Some people said H1 hardware is different, so try install this android rom is not useful.
I would be able to port android by myself but i'd need lot of tutorials on...
No one work on M1?
I'm not able on seeking drivers and on source code but there something to work on here:
https://opensource.samsung.com/index.jsp;jsessionid=F1204104931C5A717C9FF66968FB181F
Please teach me something on it...
This phone has not public interest...

I've tried to flash Android-port from H1, but Odin gave me ERROR.
LiMo is awful. Really slow and useless OS. It would be really great if anyone could port Android 2.3 to M1 i6410. Doesn't mather if it doesn't have Wifi.

I have been wanting this as well but so far I have yet to see someone port or try to port a ROM for the A13 using the KitKat rom. I have many A13 tabs and I have some custom ROMs I created myself but none entail the makes of the KitKat ROM. To be honest I am not even sure it can be done other then a stock ROM modified to replicate the KitKat ROM meaning it is per say JellyBean 4.2 but the prop is edited to say KitKat and the theme to look like KitKat the added features etc.

Light MODing like editing build.prop start up sound and things like that is easy you can even change your start up/splash images and even APK's adding and removing with simple tools you can find on the net just do a search for how to edit your stock ROM or any ROM for that matter even here you might find all the tools you need.
I create all my ROMs using Ubuntu 12.04.3 desktop AMD64 and Source for JB 4.2.2 or a donor ROM which is similar to the stock ROM of the device the user may own. As for explaining step by step I am sorry but you will need to do the leg work for that as it is not easy to explain and you will need a general knowledge of what you are doing and at some points advanced knowledge. As for flashing the boot.img from KitKat to JB 4.2.2 will not work.Things that would/could be added if compatible to your donor ROM are Drivers, Sounds, Images, APKs, System Apps, Etc...
So the point is here that you can add images and splash screen and boot up images that come from KitKat and even add the apps if compatible with JB 4.2.2 and tweaks of your own that are made to boot with the system or not anything else would need to be ported and as mentioned I have yet to see a ported KitKat version for the A13. You can also edit your SystemUi.apk to make changes but this is another avenue make sure you understand and know what you are doing when doing so and always make backups!
Some Tools
=========
System Type is up to you!
ADB Tools is a (MUST)
DragonFace
LiveSuite
APK Tool
Bootimage Tools
slidepad704ce-jb-kitchen
Script-Bin Tools
Uberizer
This is just some of the things you can use some are for Windows other I use on Ubuntu.

Dear Developers. I have q Bitel 8403 and it has the androd 2.3.6 version. I wolud like to update it to android 4.4 o 4.2 if that is possible. Please could somebody help me. I have the file in order to unblock but i would like to update and put it on the web and people can use it and improve their cell phones. Thank you so much!
No custom ROM/kernel support for Chinese devices you know (It's from Chinese OEM with crappy MTK chipset that stuck on JB or something like that without any Open source support)...However you can install recovery for it....Head to MTK thread on XDA....
This thread involves developing a Google AOSP ROM to be compiled for compatibility for the Kurio Xtreme 1st Generation. Anyone is welcome to have any ideas on helping me with making this type of Android ROM as long as it relates the the Kurio Xtreme 1st Generation, and no other Android Device.
Hi, I'm new here. I am planning on making an Android ROM running off of the Kurio Xtreme, and I am looking for experienced Android ROM developers' help, in order to get every part of the ROM as stable as it can.
ROM we are building for:
Device Name | Codename | Model ID
----------------------------------------------------------
Kurio Xtreme | g03k | C14100
Here is a picture of the device attached:
I hope this will help you.
I have a Kurio C14100 too.

Reverb, yes I would also need a rom for the Kurio c14100. Since I have no idea myself, it would be good if you take over that. I backuped the entire stock rom from the Kurio. Therefore, there should be no problems with rebuilding.
Thanks, very much _teckiii_, although I'd appreciate it if you got me the link for the ROM, we have a lot of work-in-progress mods to do with this ROM of yours.
Also, do you know if there is a way we can modify the system UI navbar to look similar to the one with PrimeOS?
Hey Guys,
I'm curios if any of you tried to install vanilla Android on MediaPad M6 (SCM-W09). I would like to do it but I need help with it. My knowledge is very basic, could you please tell me if there is any working manual which could me guide through this process? What I want to achieve is to have a normal Android with software from hardware producer and if possible working external Huawei keyboard. I bought set: tablet and keyboard.
Best regards
mgolczyk.
Vanilla Android is the Android developed by Google, not containing all the OEM related blobs: it's the base all OEMs use to create a fork matching their devices.
Hi @jwoegerbauer, thank you for replay, what does it mean in details? It means that if I try install vanilla version on this device I can have issue with drivers? I guess that vanilla android has an set of drivers for most popular hardware right? What do you recommend me, abandon the idea and try to install google services with one of the unofficial ways? Do you know if there is a way to install vanilla android on this device?
