Do you mean that your power button is actually working for powering on but doesn't work when phone is ON/Doesn't bring power Manu on holding?
Is this the problem with this specific ROM?
Did you clean install?
Wipe every thing and flash again.

1. Does it turn on, at all, no matter what you do? No? Bricked.
2. No, true bricks cannot be fixed. The good news, most bricks aren't bricks, they're "bricks". As in, super easy to fix.
The phone turns on. After the HTC logo the screen stays white.
Is stil can get in the bootloader and recovery.
I tried to restore a previous back-up but the screen stays white.

Just to let you know if you are able to get into bootloader then is not bricked.
Bricks are only if the phone cannot power on. No signs of anything, then it's a bricked.
Yours is not a bricked

I flashed a lot of roms so i know how all of this works here.
But when i try to update my cousins phone this happens.
Is the first time that i ever see something of this.
--------------------------------------------------------
After an hour staying on the white screen the phone started all sudenly.
Now everything works like a charme again.
Guess that there was some kind or bug or something.
Place this in your ad card root http://db.tt/ht4BPIS8 that's a cwm recovery.
After that power off your phone, take out the battery and then re insert it.
Once you do that, hold down the down vol key then hold down the power button.
You will get to the bootloader
Select recovery
Restore your Nandroid or flash ROM
Sorry for the un organize post but I'm writing on my phone.
Let me know how that goes

You opened a thread asking for help without explaining what's wrong. Also the sticky threads have all the info you need. There is a thread called "help" for such questions. You are not bricked, you are in a bootloop, flashing a rom will fix it.
I don't see the reason why you should had opened a thread. The same answer has been answered about a hundred times by now. Look at the top of your browsers window.. there is the SEARCH field. Use it next time

Hey guys as the topic says my lock button ain't responding!..
All was fine until today my phone suddenly hanged and I took off my battery to restart the phone but tit turned on on its own without pressing the power button !..and now when I try to lock the device or turn it off it ain't working!:
I am thinking is it the ROM issue (I'm using official cm7) or hardware issue(key is broken)...
Please help!

A Guy in my neighborhood runs a repair shop and I took my fit to him!..he said that its not a hardware fault but indeed it's a software defect!..He said that in such a case mostly 80% it is a software defect! ..
So I was planning to flash a stock ROM can anyone provide me with the link of latest Indian Firmware for Galaxy Fit?..(along with a small procedure,if possible) ...
Thanx guys!..

Sent from my GT-S5670 using Tapatalk 2
It's not an Official CM7 prob. But, since, it seems nothing except repairing ur phone... you should give it a try. Try to flash both stock firmwares one by one, and see whether it's back to normal. It doesn't matter which one u flash first. Flash either four pkg firmware or one pkg.(depends on U).:thumbup::thumbup:

Download stock ROM from here:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/
In Search write s5670 and you now have ROMs for download.
After download ROM.zip, extract it.
You now have MD5 File. Flash this 4 MD5 File with ODIN.
This is an example:

Power button issue
Hey admin I have this strange issue with my fit !
Whenever I charge my phone with a different charger of the same specs or if i overcharge my phone the power button responds like its a touchscreen button or so !
I do not need to press the button !
Even if I roll a finger over it it would lock or unlock n may switch off or reboot at random !
Plz solve this thing !
Note: already tryd numerous ROMs !
currently on MII v4 !
Hey i facing the same problem here.
my power button has been broken for a year.
But when i go to service centre, they said they must change all of sparepart. because the thing that broke is the main machine.
I dont know they're trying to trick me or not
i had same problem earlier but not now..
There was a time when my Galaxy fit device started acting weirdly like trunng off automatically, frequent hangs, etc. But i was okay with all those things till my power off button suddenly stopped working at all. Although i still was able to go to safe mode and recovery mode but it wasn't working during normal operations. Till than i was usuing the old FORYO 2.2 version of android. I thought maybe upgrading to Gingerbread can solve the problem. So i tried upgrading my device through Samsung kies. Unfortunately due to slow internet or some other issue i wasn't able to upgrade my device.
Than i finally upgraded my device manually through Odin. All my hopes were dashed when i noticed that my power off button was still not working. Than i flashed various roms like Jana Rom and finally i'm using stock rom.
After using this rom for about 1.5 years one day i suddenly noticed that my power off button started working miraculously. One of my friend who also use Galaxy fit had same problem but his power off problem was automatically fixed quite earlier than me. So i guess it would be best if you wait long enough and hope that the power off button would one day started working again.
Hi...
My phone's vibration is not working at all...
I am rooted and installed NExtGen v1.5 ROM with yannou's Kernel...
It was running nicely for 5-6 days...
What i did and my observations-
1.) I tried reflashing the rom but nothing happened...
2.) I can hear a very very low tik-tik sound on the phone when it seems to vibrate but it doesn't vibrate...
3.) I gave it a slight smack on the hand and it started vibrating for sometime and then again it stopped
4.) I searched all forums and threads but found nothing for explorer on this topic..
My Questions-
1.) Is this a issue with the phone's vibrator motor.?
2.) Please help to get this fixed....
Thanks in advanced...

It really sounds like a hardware issue, I mean if something gets fixed by smacking it........ Give a try by using stock rom, (as shree alwaz sayed before me) but I have my doubts.

Yeah i also think the same...
It started vibrating before flashing the stock rom after a slight smack on the hand and is working till now
I flashed the stock rom and then also it worked...
Then i restored the nandroid backup of NextGen made today before flashing stock rom..
It is vibrating fine but sometimes the vibrations intensity get high and low [you understand what i mean]
I am worried there is a hardware problem...
I also saw a tutorial for htc trinity here.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=376035
Do i have to do this...?

Yea.make a trail there is no wrong in dat.but make sure dat is not screwing fone
Typing in swift key3 from tiny explorer with ICS
I am not going to try it till the vibration fully stops again...
I also don't have the size of that screw driver.. ... And also don't know if the vibration motor is located at the same place as in htc trinity ...
Please tell me if you can where it is located ....
Is it the same place as in the trinity ...?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFtdxiX6YSM Check out this video, I know it's not in English, but it's the best I can find, also I think you can understand what is where. Here is with words what it sayed in the guide
HTC Explorer Take Apart Instructions:
1) Turn off the phone. Remove the back, battery, SIM Card.
2) Using a Torx T6 screwdriver undo the screwdrivers in the corners of the phone. Do note, that on some models of this phone there will be stickers or a housing covering the screws. Removing this voids the warranty, so be sure on this point. For the majority of people the phone will be outside of the warranty period for now.
3) Using the case tool, work a little gap on the front of the phone. This will provide a small gap which you can run around to remove the front face.
4) The keypad is connected via ribbon assembly to the main front face, so this needs to be removed for complete separation.
5) The LCD needs to be removed from the other side of the board. The frame needs to be removed from the chassis of the phone, which can be levered using the case tool. This is clipped in with no screws.
6) The LCD ribbon cable can then be removed and the LCD panel removed and replaced.
7) Reassembly is a reverse of these steps. Make sure you’ve kept all the parts safe.

hello O1 people XD. i need help with something that i need to do with my phone 'cause power button is almost broken.
in every rom that i installed in my O1, i remapp the search key as power button. even in ICS i made this change without any problem but i don't know if JB is diferent.
when i try to remap the search key by editing qwerty.kl and/or thunder_keypad.kl, then it looks like it comes unaccesible. so when a restart the phone, all buttons losses their keymaps. i can not do almost anything. I try button remapper apk but it just recognizes power key and headsethook key only.
i made a logcat and there's a message that always repeat: "W/SocketClient( 98): write error (Broken pipe)"
so my question is: do anyone try successfully to remap keys on jellybean? what should i do?
thanks guys...

My power button just stopped working for no reason. one day it started to act weird and work very weak and another day it stopped working totally. I seen a video of screen replacement where the person opened the phone and you could see motherboard. I was thinking maybe somehow the wiring got loose but when I looked at the video there was no wire going to power button, What could make it not work? how can I fix it? Thank you
Is there way to bootup phone without power button?
Yes, with latest wkpark bootloaders and with custom kernel. Remove battery and put it back. The phone will start automatically.
Then you can flash kernel from v28b leaked rom. You turn on the screen by pressing volume down button.

For now I try battery to not die .
