[Q] Touchscreen lag

Hi everyone ! I'm posting this here as well as in the SP forum because I think this kind of problem isn't limited to one model or brand.
Story:
I recently got my Xperia SP's digitizer changed (apparently most phones don't like faceplants ) and when i got it back I noticed a "slight" change.
Symptom :
When I touch the screen and slide my finger there's a little lag before the move is recorded by the phone, like, I have to move my finger more than 1/2 inch away from the starting point or it consider my finger didn't move from it. (thus resulting in little jumps when sliding through menus or if you wanna draw a circle it start by drawing a straight line ) After the phone catches up however (so, as long as I keep my finger on it) it follow up well just like it has to. It's not related to the latency of the screen (as I said, after the first move and for as long as I keep my finger on the screen there's no problem) so even if it's after a hardware modification I believe it's a software related problem.
Resolution tested :
Through research I think my problem could come from a change between the dpi of the stock digitizer and the one I got in replacement, so the stock touch_slop value isn't adapted anymore. I tried to change it in my build.prop, but it mades no difference and the problem is still here. Although it doesn't mean the problem doesn't come from that (The way Android handles touch_slop has changed in the latest versions) I don't know how to fix it and I need advices. Has someone already encountered that problem ? How can I fix it ?
So, long story short : I need a way to tweak the dpi value of the digitizer that's stored somewhere on the phone.

Did you turn up the sensitivity on setting. Have a look. If not Maybe try turning it up anyway and seeing if that makes any difference.

Can you disable touch input in a particular place of the screen?

Is there an app/code/apk that can disable touch input in a specific area of the screen on my unrooted Huawei Y6 Pro? I would really like an answer as soon as possible.
Also, if it helps, this is a physical error in the screen and it phantom touches in one particular area very time, so please don't suggest some sort of software fix. What I'm actually looking for is to someone suggest an app like Tasker to set a little dead zone where the phantom touch is.
So, in a nutshell, I want to disable a part of my touchscreen, not using rooted methods, so that every time I touch that area on my phone it does not respond and doesn't receive it as a touch.
Thanks for the help.
Got something
Hey bro,
You got something about your problem!!
Install partial screen app from playstore

Do you have touch problems?

Recently I bought the motorola one vision that by the way I left it today in the warranty and on Saturday they will give me a new one, I changed it because I was having problems with the tactile sensitivity.
I come from a xiaomi mi a2 and I am used to writing very fast, in the motorola one vision when writing fast or normal sometimes certain letters when touching them did nothing like they do not recognize the touch.
This happens to me with a tempered glass screen protector or without it and when charging this is worse, and also if for example I put the phone on a surface the sensitivity drops to the maximum.
If you google it you will see a lot of reports of this issue in lenovo forums
do you have this touch issue too?
Yes, I have problems with the touchscreen sensitivity, because of this I removed the protective screen of the display which did not stick well because of the curvature of the screen. Now I use the phone without a foil screen protector and the touch is better . I read in this forum there are more people complained this matter . Also I can tell this is not Gorilla glas this is some glass equivalent to Gorilla glass 3 .
90% have this problem , is hardware issue . A10 solved it a little but still have it
I have this problem and it drives me crazy. I am still stuck on A9 so hoping A10 does indeed improve it a little. The worst is when the phone is sitting flat on my desk - it is almost impossible to use.
No touch issues here. XT1970-3 with tempered glass. Don't know about in games as I don't play.
I also had problems using the device with film, I researched a lot on the Internet about it and it seems to be a problem with the device. But with two simple configurations I managed to get around the problem and the device is very usable at the moment. 1 - Go to settings - System - Languages and input - click advanced - find the option Pointer speed - Slide the bar all the way to the right and click Ok. Restart the device. 2 - Open again Settings - Sound - Scroll the screen down - Click on advanced - Find the option "Vibrate when touching the screen" and disable it.
I hope I helped, with these two settings I managed to get around the problem on my device. It still has some gagging but the touch response is much better.
Sorry my bad english.

This is not a quite well solution because increasing sensitivity of touches from settings will cause false-positive clicks, touches , whatever which are undesirable in a daily use of phone .

I made this configuration on my device and had no problem with false positives. And with the update to Android 10 the touch has improved more. I noticed that by activating the "vibrate when touching the screen" setting again, the device again fails to touch when typing.

I'm sure you're right about this but I'm sure you have a screen protector . I don't . So in my case your solution isn't quite well .
Help us to find a solution
Hello, I have the same problem but I found something that help...
My problem increase when is on a surface, but if you plug only the cable type C the problem is fix...
If you do it, just plug the cable to the phone and the other part leave it alone
I think the port or something internal there isn't connected to ground... Maybe someone with better knowledge in electronics can help.
Test it and tell me if works you
Bought one for my wife and updated to Android 10. I can confirm the issue still exists touch sensitivity is not very accurate . It's ok could be better but not a deal breaker. Motorola should do something z then again all hardware is made by samsung..... This model it's not produced anymore , I wonder why....

Is it possible to make it less sensitive in screen rotation?

I find it over sensitive in screen rotation, it is very annoying making wrong typing with a very little tilt in many applications, the worst is making calls. Any solution? Many tks
