Yeah if you´re S-off, and rooted, you can install elegancia Rom , Blitz 3.8
and it has the leedroid tweaks, that has the option , "turn screen on when receive SMS" ..

that ^ worked for me.

Is exist that twek separately? Bocuse I dont use Elegansia, and Ledroid Tweak.

You can install Leedroid tweaks but you need to be sure that is compatible with your Rom

I use http://mikhei777.org.ua/index.php/ru/forum/android-firmwares/75-htc-sensation-android-4-0-4-sense-4-1-firmware-based-on-stock-ville-c-ruu-2-31-401-5 this ROM.

Well the elegancia 4.1 has the same Rom base but before you install leedroid tweaks you need to make a nandroid backup because if everything is going wrong then you can restore it

New with a modified sensation.

Hi all...
My problem is that i bought a used HTC sensation, but it has been modified, with a custom rom, already rooted and it comes with IC evolution 2.2, i want to update this software, but i dont know what i need, and what the cellphone have, S-off / S-on and other things that i've readed in the forum... i want a compatible JB rom...
sorry for my bad english, i'm triying to learn by my self!
it already have CMW, and the new version of the software (IC evolucion 2.2) its named OrDroid 9.0.0, becouse the in the "Tweaks" app sends you to the post of OrDroid Rom... i'm downloading it...
sorry for double post, i was thinking that this one will be added to the first

I'f I'm not mistaken, OrDroid 9 is and ICS ROM.
That means you are set up and ready to go as far as firmware and what not. Just do a full wipe and install a JB rom and it shuld boot right away.
Make a nandroid backup of your current ROM first though. Just in case.
There are 2 ways to flash a new ROm, depending on if you are S-On or S-Off. So boot into the bootloader and check first. Come back here with questions.
So, ic evolution is insert coin evolution rom, I've downloaded the 2.4 versión and flashes only wiping chache and dalvik, and here I am...

also i've a lot of lag, and inestaibility with my 3G conection while my friends y very stable and fast...

Yes. You usually need to fully wipe before flashing ROMs made by different developers.
The only JB ROM's you can get right now are AOSP (Without Sense). If you want to try one out i would recommend this CM10 ROM

Make sure you read the first post before you do anything though.
And can i put sense over a jb Rom by porting the theme or something?

[HBOOT] Upgrade and Downgrade to any HBOOT

I do all this process to upgrade to HBOOT 2.14, but you can downgrade/upgrade with any HBOOT if you have the hboot files.
First: Any brick or fail it`s not my responsibility. Proceed with caution.
S-OFF NEEDED TO PROCEED
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Procedure:
1-Download the hboot what you want:
http://d-h.st/XdJ //ALL FILES FROM OTA 3.17 T-MO germain hboot 2.14 (incl recovery and other firmware files, be careful with that).
http://d-h.st/bt9 // HBOOT 1.09 THANKS TO liamstears from the other post to provide the file.
http://d-h.st/J1T //HBOOT 2.14 liamstears magic another time.
2-Reboot in fastboot mode.
3-Do the following commands one by one:
fastboot erase cache //optional
fastboot oem rebootRUU //to enter in HTC black screen
fastboot flash zip [zipname.zip] // i.e "fastboot flash zip hboot214.zip"
(wait some seconds, green bar in phone screen)
fastboot reboot-bootloader //to see your new HBOOT
That`s all folks.
was looking for downgrades, thanks bro

I think nobody knows what are the advantages of 2.14 hboot, but, why keeping 1.09 or 1.14 if you can have 2.14 without any problems?
The first file i posted have more things than a hboot, flashing the 2.14 complete file is like aplying a 3.17 RUU to the majority of partitions (sb1.img, rpm.img blabla), a ROM flash can`t do that, thats because it`s a little more risky

i dont know if its only me but Viper works really good on hboot 2.14
things get a bit problematic if you wish to switch over to some other ROM when you are on 2.15.
and many have said that Sense 5 works like a charm on 2.14 after updating radio and installing Beastmode!

Updating to 2.15 firmware does not affect the ROM, and you shouldn't have to re-install. Although, it won't hurt anything to do so (or at least clear Dalvik and cache).
Viper its going realy smooth zero drop signals

[Sensation Users Hangout Thread] - Share your experience and more

Hi all;
Ripping right off some other phones forums, I decided to make one of these things for us SENNY-STUCKs as well.
In this thread, you can share your experience, views, and other general topics with each other.
That will include for example speed, graphics, or battery improvement tips, a combination of ROMs, kernels, and mods that has given you a good performance, or even more, to which no thread has been specifically dedicated.
Here can be like a kind of chat room, where Sensation (whether regular Sensation, XE, or 4G; all are the same) users can have a talk together regarding whatever they like (or do not like) on their phones, even off-topic.
Have a good time!
Sent from my HTC Sensation using Tapatalk
Great idea mate, i think this was missing for sensation users, so we don't have to spam rom threads with chat or of topic  :good:

For me it's battery, system storage (i wasn't able to install ubuntu because of the lack of system storage) and sometimes ram.
But overall the is great, even now.

Guys, I have something new in my head; but don't know if it's even doable.
We know that both /system and /data have the same format (ext4), and are on the same storage (eMMC); I have like some space free on /system, so, what if I move all /data/data folders and files to /system, and make a shortcut of it in /data to their location in /system instead? Anyone got an idea?

Sounds like a good idea to me if using cm anyway as of the system free space. I would try it but haven't yet (not on cm), is that moving /data/apps to system eg. /system/data/apps and creating a sym link to it (Root explorer has this option if you long press the folder). I would leave /data/dalvik-cache and /data/data on the data partition for speed.

You could move and symlink it. This was link2sd do (but to /sdext)
but this is kinda useless, our /system partition is quite small (especially in sense rom) it wouldn't fit, And if you didin't have any GUI app to control it. it will be hard to you to control it (for example: Updating app,Reinstall,Uninstall require you to do over the job)

[Q] Memory problem with RUU Stock

Hello and sorry for my bad English ...
A few days ago I discovered that settings_apps, I can not see the phone memory ... I attached a screenshot.
It is normal? It is the RUU 3.16. OTA Update from 2.31. I installed cyanogenmod 11 and now I'm with maximushd ... But if I return to the stock RUU always have the same problem ... Why? I would like to return to stock RUU because it is the best battery consumption had with my phone ...
Thank you.
I am the only one that this happens? Any idea?
