Haven't heard of this problem. Are you sure that your hand is not shaking when recording?

just trolling bro. it's a well known issue with all CM9+ roms
if you need working hd vids, gb is the only current solution
every ops/thread on cm9 or cm10 will tell u this

qkster is right about this, but for me its not the playback, you should try different video players, i managed to have smoothly played HD videos on "mobo player"..
the video recording of Infuse 4G on the CM10 ROMs have real issues even put on a steady table, it will still be laggy when played, hope soon this would be fix..
just return to GB if you enjoy your phones video capabilities like me..
i have just sacrifice the cool games i can play with CM10..

Thats so not true. Go into developer options and tick "Disable HW Overlays" that will fix the problem (note though, it resets every reboot)

I already got that working on my phone at the moment. Im running DarchLegend 4.2.2 and its not fully optimized. Video playback is not as crisp as it should be but I don't know how much better I can get it to run. Let me see if I can upload a youtube video of it in action.
yes please^^
i would so love a stable divx codec on my phone>.<

Hellfire 1.8.. Media acceleration?

Since I cant ask in the thread directly... I thought Id make a thread.
It says media acceleration was added in the latest release, but I thought the official drivers were needed for this... and since LG hasnt released the drivers? How is this possible?
I only ask because im on hellfire 2.2 gingerbread and would like to make the jump over to the ICS since many of the issues are being sorted out.
Anyways if anybody can let me know, that would be great. Thanks
Chris
Oh! and one more thing.
If media acceleration has been successfully implemented... what about the domination release by Owain. Would that have it as well? That looks like a great release as well.

Media acceleration is like the video player and stuff, it works. This doesn't mean the camcorder works, it doesn't. The camera does work though. And yes, its in any ics rom you find here.
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA
The media acceleration is good for video playback, it's just that you can't record with the camera. (You still can take HD pictures.) You should be fine as long as you use your phone for RECORDING videos.

CM9 Bugs

Hi friends, it's me again.
I really wanna use ICS in my Galaxy SL, and I wanna do the impossible for make it works at 100%, obviously it doesn't gonna work perfect, but if the bugs can be solved with third party apps and works partially good, I'm happy haha.
Well, there's 3 bugs in CM9.
1- Video recording
2- Hardware acceleration in videos
3- Wi-Fi Tethering.
The last 2 bugs can be solved with a third party video player app, and with an app like ''Easy Tether''.
The problem, the video recording.
I know that can works with ''Videocam Illusion'', but I wanna know if it can works with another camera app, like ''Zoom FX'', ''Cymera'', ''ProCapture'', or another camera app. If not, what are the correct settings in Videocam Illusion to get the best video quality? I know that if I configure it at the best, it doesn't gonna work, but I think that the default settings of the app sucks.
I wait for your answers.
Thank you in advance and sorry for my bad English.
Greetings!

No matter what the camera is going to stay buggy unless we get kernel 3.x . Videos are working fine for now and you just need to cut down background apps for better performance. Hillbeast is now focusing on booting the kernel after which we have a bunch of hungry developers who are going to help him build the kernel from there.
Videos are working good? Really? I'm using RemICS and the videos doesn't work :/
Today i saw that LG optimus one has a fully functional cm9.
I dont understand how can such an ancient phone can have so good compatibilty.
I envy them.

If they made the kernel then i don't see why it won't work.
Samsung is always sharing BS.
"The galaxy s won't support ICS because it lacks RAM"
MY ASS.
If devs want to do it, they can..
Sooner or later, we gonna have ICS in our Galaxys working without any bugs

bug 60fps on youtube

hi,
i noticed that youtube app (and also by broswer with flash) do not appear the option of 60fps.
it happenes to you?
solutions?
Same problem. MIUI on a MiPad no problem with 60fps
Do you have CM or Stock?
Stock miui stable
I updated at SMiui v7 5.11.12.....same problem.
Nobody here have suggestions?
No idea.. don't even know any videos with 60fps
Link a video with 60fps option and I can take a look. But I'm using the same ROM as you are, so I will probably have the same problem. Maybe someone running CM can try it.

That's not 60fps, if you use OGTube to download, it doesn't show 60fps next to the video

You're right, I saw this on my Nexus 4 also. Maybe ask in CM thread if they see 60fps videos
