read all twice before flashing
til date i have flashed more then 10 times by this method
Make sure that you read everything carefully and know what you are doing.
Don't blame me for any damage that may occur on your phone.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-do not disconnect mobile while flashing bettery must be more then 50%
-pc/laptop must not stop while flashing
-close other progames running in your pc/laptop for better speed-discoonect net
-images given here for learning purpose for better understanding of all steps
-you can practice till step 3 before all steps
-there is tutorial inside downloaded file by micromax do not use it(stictly -they given image for firmware upgread and you have to click download button)

What's needed:
1)USB data cable
its there with your chrgere right!!!
2)MediaTek USB VCOM drivers
-go to settings-developer option - click on usb debuging mode ok
-now connect your mobile with your pc/laptop and driver containg drive created open it and install your desire 32 bit or 64 bit driver(run as admin)
---restart your pc with phone connected
---to check is your driver instal or not go to usb teether option and apply it. if internet surfing is possible then you are ready to go---(must check)
3)SP Flash Tool and flashing files
-- is provided with in download file
-- 2 rar files
----make new folder and extract both files in new folder
--so threre is two folder one for sp flash tool and one containing all flashing files (warning =do not rename this folder)

1)open spflsh tool
First of all open SP Flash Tool, then click Scatter-loading button to load the correct scatter file
(here it is named MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txtfind in download file)

2)choose Option-USB Model,click USB Model,
Choose Option- DownLoad All-Speed-High speed click High Speed
3)now connect your fone with micro usb data cable (do not connect to pc now just only fone side connect)
Turn off your phone, remove the battery and replace it after some seconds (and don't turn on the phone).
now fone is turn off with data cable coonect with fone side only
4) now do some speedy work
press download and connect immediatly to pc (same usb port when you use while instaling the driver)
The process will start and a red progress bar will appear.
After the red progress bar is complete(for 1 sec)
there will appear a purple progress bar(for1 sec
.
and thene yellow bar(for1 min to 5 min)
When the yellow bar is complete, you'll get a popup with a green circle and Download OK message, which means that the process has been successfully terminated.
5)You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on. The process ends here
remove your mobile and start it will take 2 min to first boot
enjoy!!!!!!!!

i have flashed many times and found no need to remove battery just make sure all drivers are installed in pc even in mobile off mode also. then when u click upgrade firmware simply switch off ur mobile u feel the vibration after 5 sec of switch then simply connect it to usb cable thats all.

9. Wait the proccess till there is a twice done(see the pic), click Boot Phone Up
10. Thats it! you may exit

USB mode not working
i flashed my Fire xt 530 with Ice_Cream_Jelly-V2 by aweosomeabhijeet. And now when i'm trying to flash any other ROM the phn is not being detected by my Computer. Its only getting charged when m connecting it with the PC. USB debugging or even Mass storages also does not work. Pls help....:crying:
I've even tried debricking it !! Pls help

AS per ur instructions i did the same...flash spain rom root then cwm installed..then when i open MHF there is no starting adb server and then when i press bootloader mode nothing happens...i even pressd camera button+vol down+power please help...

Download MOTOROLA DEVICE MANAGER first, install it on your pc. then please retry.

[TUT]How to ROOT LAVA IRIS n320/n350[CWM] [CONFIRM WORKING]

Hey XDA folks i own a LAVA IRIS n320 (Basic Droid Phone) for past months i tried to search various methods of rooting it and installing the clockworkmod on the device.

1.Making the Scatter File :
Open the MTKdroid tools and create the scatter file as shown in the pic and save the file in a good place(where you can remember)

2.Prepare the Scatter File: Open the SP TOOLS where you downloaded from above load the scatter file which we created
3.Preparing the ROm :
Click on the button ADD. Double click on the line and save the ROM.
#Things To notice: The filename Will be like "ROM_#". in your case probably it'll be ROM_0.
#Remember the path of the File. U'll use this file later.
Alfter Clicking Save a new Window will appear named as "Read Back Block Start Address"
Windows Settings Will be as below
Type: Hex
Read Method:Read Page Only
Start Address: 0x0000000000000000
Length:0x12BA0000
4.Reading the Rom :
Click on Read ROM with the phone switched off and connected to the PC
Follow these Steps Carefully.Once Rom is Created you can use it in future.On success you'll see a BIG GREEN CIRCLE embded in a message box.
5.Prepare files for FlashTool and make CWM:
Open the MTK Droid Root & Tools window which we left on 1st step.it is necessary to turn on phone and to connect it to the program. Click on To process file ROM_ from FlashTool button and choose the ROM_* file saved earlier. At successful unpacking rom it will be offered to choose CWM from similar phone. Chosen CWM it is checked on compliance to the connected phone and if ok, the CWM is created.
A new scatter file and other neccessary files are created in the backup folder in droid root program's directory.you'll need the files in the next step.
6.Download new CWM to the phone:
Start FlashTool, choose scatter in the folder created on the previous step. Remove marks from all blocks! Click on RECOVERY and we choose the file CWM in the same folder which was created on the previous step. Click Download and connect a cable to PC (phone has to be switched off) and expect the end of process.
NOTE n this step the CWM recovery block has to be marked only! Also it is necessary to use only the Download button and not to use at all the Firmware Upgrade button!
Summary of step 6:
--> Click on Scatter-loading.Select Scatter file from the backup folder.
--> Make Sure all the checkboxes are unchecked. Only Recovery should be Checked.
--> Click Exactly over Recovery.
--> It will ask you to select a file. Now select a Recovery file created in step 6. Tt must be inside backup folder named as "Recovery_###.img"
--> Click Button Download.
--> Connect SWITCHED OFF phone.
Green SYMBOL MEANS YOU ARE DONE :good:
NOTE: USE THE ADB TO ACCESS THE RECOVERY
COMMAND : adb reboot recovery
This is because the keys dont work
7. Install Superuser.
Load phone in CWM mode, connect to MTK Droid Root & Tools, go on the tab root, backup, recovery and, pressing on this tab
- install superuser
Voila You now have ROOT access ! enjoy ~

Have you tried to just download directly from the X1 icon, then select the one you want. then download it and right at the completion of the download it will automatically create the FTF file which you can just flash, from the flash menu. This was what I did with no issues, although I must say it took a real long time at the system phase with the progress bar all way across

It sounds that flash tool only works with xperiafirm files!
Well, I didn't tried that because I'm on a limited data traffic plan here and I don't want to re-download 2.36 GB

hello, you can extract with 7zip (like / or winrar) , put all files in a folder and after use flashtool to create a tft file (tools -> bunddles -> create -> select folder with all files extracted complete phone model and etc and hit create) and flash with flashtool after is finish and voila

I have tried that, it worked and I have successfully created a ftf file!
However, I haven't tested it yet as my device is working fine for now....

dissembler the back case of your phone. Disconnect the battery connector from motherboard. (if you have any difficulty to open the back case, just see it in youtube)
1st step:
-----------
open up spflash tool as Administrator and prepare it beforehand (later on in third step you must quickly switch the app in order to flash the device successfully).
Make sure to fill out the three inputs in download section tab:
-DA (download agent) if it already filled, then just leave it. if not, you must refer it to DA agent files inside your spflash tool folder. You could download seprately DA file from internet.
-fill up scatter file from stock firmware Rom.
Important ! Dont move or change the scatter file position in firmware folder! It must be inside the firmware folder!
-auth file ( point it out to the auth file)
-now just leave this app open, head onto 2nd step below!
2nd step:
------------
run: libusb win32.exe:
Tick on Install a Device Filter and Tap Next
-install libusb
-select install a device filter
-Press Volume Up (or down in another model)
-Insert the USB cable
-Now you can see the device’s COM Port in the LibUSB window, Click Install.
Click OK (tips: quickly click the device when it appeared!).
if u failed, just repeat the 2nd step again!
3rd step:

-Run MTKbypassv4.exe
-Press Volume Up (other device use vol down thoug)
-Insert the USB cable into pc
-press bypass button in app
-make sure all ok/done (green color text)
-now quickly go to spflash app, click download button
eventually spflash will execute flashing the device, wait till it finish (download ok!)!
now try to connect the battery connector and boot it up
Voila, your hardbrick phone has come to life once again!
IMPORTANT!:
here in 3rd step, you would have BROM error (This error clearly means that the Flash Tool has issues finding the COM port on which your device is connected.) if u didnt quick enough to switch to spflash app and click downlod button. If this happen, just resume the 3rd step.

that error have several indications,
one of them is your emmc nearly damage or have been damage. So, u must change u r emmc.
Try this first:
in your spflash, go to option, in tab general uncheck "storage life cycle check"
