[Q] i9020T can't call after 4.0.4 update

Hi! I just updated my nexus s i9020T from stock Android 2.3.1 (Build GRH78/XXJK8 Radio/JK1 Bootloader) directly to android 4.0.4 via incremental update from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1445570.
Everything went fine and everything works fine except the most important thing, the phone calls. I can recieve calls and connect to 3g network and internet but i can't make an outgoing call. The phone just beeps once and says call ended.
If I try to change something in ''other call settings'' in phone app it says ''call settings error-network or SIM card error''. If i try to check my money with *130# or any other MMI code it says ''connection problem or invalid MMI code''.
Everything worked fine before the update and the sim works fine in my other phone.
EDIT: zomg i fixed it. flashed the original radio that came with the phone and it works

[Q] Help, Galaxy Ace S5830 ghost in my machine!

I have had this problem for quite some time now and I am at my wits end. I have a Galaxy S5830 which was working fine until end of last December when I decided to change networks Which meant unlocking my beloved Network 3 ACE all went well THEN I decided to flash a rom or 2 seeing as it was also so simple. Perfect . But the problems started when I tried to make a phone call, the call is canceled (CALL ENDED) immediately (EVEN EMERGENCY CALLS ). The phone is not Blocked or any silliness like that, weird thing is.. I can Go online on the phone EVEN Tether to my laptop (iv had friends tethering to it while I'M on it as-well) also SMS works! I have done searches up and down, even Google started asking me to give it up. But i'm determined I just figured I needed some Help from those who know how. (side note: I thought it was the modem since i flashed it to the Indian DDKQ6 changed it to XWKP7 base-band n still no difference) I'm pretty sure its the Dailer that's cooked some how.. also: Status of phone is normal connected to network 02, in-service etc.

Any help would be much appreciated and please don't ask me to try reflash its the first thing i thought of.

Got the exakt same problem:
"Call ended" immediately after pushing call button. 3G, WiFi, SMS, everything works fine but calls.
IMEI is still visible
I tried following without success:
- SIM works on other phone.
- turned 3G and 2G on/off before call
- turned on/off call forwarding and call rejection
- hide/show caller ID
- factory reset
- different ROMS with different basebands (several stock ROMs; doesn't work neither)
- format data/system/cache
I'm running out of options..I'd be glad for any suggestions.

Missing Phone Calls

My wife's phone is missing phone calls on ocassion, I have tried just about everything to fix it.
Her phones has stock JB with root right now - has up to date bootloader and JB baseband for the I9020a which is her phone type. We are using AT&T. I tried changing her APN settings and deleting them and restoring them. IMEI is the right one also. Changed the sim chip also, just in case.
Any thoughts on what is going on?

i noticed it too, a friend said she called me and i dint pick up, but when i saw my call log i dont see any missed calls

Can't make outgoing calls. Baseband issue?

Hi, a friend gave me an old LG P500 phone to play around with. It had a stock ROM on it.
I put my SIM in, phone showed I have service but when I try to make calls it won't let me. It just disconnects in less than a second.
So I flashed a custom rom (GSNAP 1.5) to check if that might fix the issue. It didn't, exact same issue.
Phone shows it's connected to my service provider, DATA actually works but can't make outgoing calls.
Any speculations or help?

can you receive calls? if no then probably hardware issue.

Call network customer care!!

Well I didn't check if I can receive calls...
I don't really care that much as to call my customer service to get it to work. I have a working phone.
This is a friend's phone and he wanted me to get it working.
I guess I'll let him try it with his SIM card. Maybe his will work.
By the way, could it be that the phone might be network locked but it just doesn't say that for some reason?

Tried a different SIM card, didn't solve the issue. Same problem.
I'm not sure it's a service provider issue.

may try flashing the official rom using kdz . might be some issue with the libraries.

I flashed the official V20c with KDZ... Still a similar problem but now it shows a message when trying to make an outgoing call: "Divert Activated"

[Completed] [Q] S4 dialer problem

Hello all, I have a samsung galaxy s4 model # i377m that was locked to bell. I purchased a unlock code for the phone and used a Kooko-(telus) sim card to enter the code. The code was successful however when I put my bell sim card back in the phone I can't send or receive phone calls properly. The dialer app opens and I can see my call history and browse my contacts but when I go to place a call the phone goes buggy, it will place the call but my screen goes black and I can't hear or be heard on the receiving end. It's really weird because everything else on the phone works, I have full reception and have the ability to send and receive txt and use data. The phone has a custom rom Cyanogenmod 12. I thought the rom had something to do with it so I downloaded and installed the stock firmware and I still had the same problem. At this point I have put cm12 back on the phone and must wait until someone can help me. I'm really lost for words.
