Hi everyone!
I need, please help with a Chinese phone I just bought.
Some information about the phone:
MC603CH, board cellonsz73_gb, MT6573 ARMv6 797.90mhz, MC7305.zheng.V1.en display, brand Yusu, total 214 Mb RAM, 130 Mb internal space, external 3.7 Gb, Imagination Technologies GPU, OpenGL ES 2.0, currently running Android 2.3. 5 Kernel 2.6.35.7.
In Windows 8 on Mac and was recognized as HTC (Windows as My HTC). Turns out I can not stand just looking for that kind of device without having the urge to start moving in everything and in every way (especially since it's my first Android). I did root, installed a bunch of app to change the system and found a script that makes the Apps recognize a partition EXT4 like to have more internal space to install applications. The last two things I did while he was connected were able to install BusyBox to make the system recognize the init.de folder so I can run scripts in the beginning of the section and, silly me, make a run in the script.
He was pretty one, running everything is fast with the ROM that was running, which it came (modified to look like iOS), but after running the script, it restarted and went into boot loop. Then I try to recover the poor, and went hunting for information ... flash rom did (I was afraid to try installing and kill him at once), then I found a video that said I could try clearing the cache, I tried, I removed the USB cable from the computer to wait for the battery dies (it does not restart the button is in loop) and nothing.
I found another video that told me to go back to factory settings purchases that could go right.
The problem is I can not get into recovery mode by buttons (already tried all possible combinations and does not enter the recovery). I managed, after Google searches, and find the adb installed, managed to make it into the recovery by adb! Then I thought I could do everything that was needed to revive the pet. I fell to the tale of the factory settings, and I gave myself badly. Now the adb condegue not recognize the phone, I believe it is because he is no longer on usb debuging (factory settings), so now I'm here at all in the stirring cell, trying to find a way to disconnect the battery and do not think (believe only a technician can or someone with technical knowledge) so I can try some procedures using software I found (SP flash tools, tools mtkdroid, Android AIO flasher, etc.). To get drivers that worked in Portcom has been very difficult, I tried several until you find what the Windows install left. Well, it's more or less what is happening to me. I hope you can find someone to help me on this, because, as I said, it's my first android and I can not buy another one for a long time (I have a wife and four children, i can not spend too much ) and it cost me R$ 590.00 (Brazil) and not just pay. If anyone can help me, I am very grateful.
God bless you. Sorry for english from Google Translator.
Hej,
If you just can get into the recovery you could flash any rom made for your phone, just get the zip on your SD card and install through recovery.
Try to get into recovery through fastboot if your phone is supported and next time you root your android just do a nandroid backup.

Hi Dr.Banane! Thanks for responding!
The point is that I can not go into recovery mode at all the buttons on this phone.
The only ways in which I saw the screen of recovery mode this cell were: 1 by 2 by adb root manager when
I was with usb debugging enabled. I need to figure out exactly how to enter the recovery mode, because I think it
I will be able to access adb again and be able to delete the folder init.d script or do some flash ROM.
By the way, does the ROM Sophone MT6575 will work on it or kill it once?
Thank you. God bless you.
learned alot from your question

Look at this and maybe it will help you:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1929957
You have to flash a recovery.img and boot.img with computer but i don´t know if it´s possible without USB-debugging OFF, but atleast you can try.

Edit 17 02 13: I would like to thank Dr. Banane and all the help that friends here from XDA have done to help me.
Thank God I managed to grab the rom from a device identical to mine and restore my Android. I learned a lot in those days I tried and tried and could help in forums with this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1683883.

hi guys, I am new to this forum and I just purchased a g tablet today. Because of all the reviews and info that I found here is why I decided to buy it. Now I am stuck trying to install the clockwork and tnt. I've been following to the t the instructions posted here and I even was able to convert tnt from .rar to.zip but I can't do crap!!!
is there anyone that can help me? Is there anyone here from Miami that has been able to do this and can help me out? I can pay a few $$ for your time and help.
thanks,
Frankie
if you get tntlite 4.4.0 just copy the update.zip into the root of the internal storage. make sure you are on the right stock rom 1st.
from there make sure you have a file in your internal called recovery it should have the command file in it (if it isn't in there you can ether make one of copy the one he has packaged with 4.3)
from there reboot holding the + vol and it will flash tnt lite 4.4
now as for CWM recovery.
once tnt is installed factory reset (trust me this will make things easyer and more stable)
go into the google market and get the terminal emulator
once you have this installed open it and throw in these commands.
SU
(this is for super user rights press yes once super user appears)
cwmrecovery.sh
(this command will execute a script that will load a flash tool and install CWM recovery it will only take a few seconds to flash)
from there you are done. i know it is backwords for installing recovery last. but sad to say this is how i did it. TNT lite has integrated a copy of CWM and the vanilla recovery and the dev has added a pack tool for being able to switch between these two recoveries.
okay! it's been 2 days playing with this g tablet and I am about to slamm it to the ground!!! I really don't get it! I've followed the steps one by one exactly how it is described in this forum and in this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=865245
And I've had no luck at all! it is still factory set. I can't even find the markewt or the Google Services Framework at the applications settings menu.
What the hell am I doing wrong here? please some one please help me!!
Thanks,
Frankie
well!!! finally I got it working! everything is installed! the only problem I have now, is that when I connect it to my usb cable, my desktop won't recognize my g tablet and the tablet says: usb debugging connected with the android logo. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Hi guys, I bought the above phone off Amazon. I found out this very strange device also had a root-enabled kernel out of the box, but my question is about recovery. I want to install CWM as a first choice, if not that, TWRP, but a Google search only tuns up loose references to MTK6589 which is presumably the SoC, but nothing for my specific model. Currently when I reboot to recovery with any root app it shows 'no command' (maybe there is no recovery installed to the recovery partition?) and when entering bootloader mode the device displays what is seen in the attached photo.
I would appreciate any help on getting a working recovery set up on this device.
Thanks!

Hi, I also have one of these phones and have been looking at recovery options with little success.
However I have found a set of instructions in the XDA University about porting CWM. (unfortunalty I can't post a link due to being a Noob, but if you Google 'porting cwm' it should be the top result).
I am going to be attempting to do this once I have got my PC set up dual boot for Linux.
Will post back with news on how it's going. Would appreciate any progress you have made about a recovery option.
Regards
Mad.
first, make a backup of your device using mtk droid tools.
if phone isn`t rooted yet, use this tutorial:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2332783
for the recovery, you need to unpack your recovery.img, take the kernel zImage and put it in the cwm-recovery. for mt6589 phones, this one should work: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2357875
you can unpack/repack your boot.img with this tools:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1587411
after obtaining new recovery.img, flash it through SP flash tool or mobileuncle tools.
Recovery Quirk
Chrizzly, thanks for the pointers, will be checking out the tools tonight.
Found a quirk though, may just be my phone.
I booted into recovery last night and as expected the "no commands" came up, but then I took the back off the phone and a recovery menu appeared. Had options in there like reboot, delete cache, delete delvik cache....
I'm assuming this is the stock recovery.
I tested it again this morning and booting into recovery and then taking the back off the phone made the menu appear!!
Any one else care to test and see if it's a stock thing or just a quirk of my phone.
replied before, my post disappeared.. this isn`t related to your device , this is recovery-typical. it is showing the android first, without a menu. you need to press hardware buttons, to get into the menu( this is device-specific, you need to try that, also buttons on the touch screen, if there are some) this will usually bring you in recovery MENU. think you accidently pressed one of these buttons while opening the device.

Re: Files. Thanks for the files, going to try them out as soon as I can!!
Done
I have got CWM working on my i9389 now, there was a few quirks in getting it going.
The method I used was as posted in the MTK Droid Root & Tools thread by rua1.
TIPS
Leave the battery out when doing read back or flash in Flash Tools.
Not mentioned in the instruction is the MTK vcom drivers which you will need and can be found in the Root tutorial posted by Chrizzly a bit further up.
Make sure you read the instructions by rua1 closely and use the images posted as it's not always straight forward.
Last tip pay attention to where MTK tools puts the files it creates, had me stumped for a bit!! I've never been very good at following instructions!!

I managed to boot loop mine while messing with a ROM I made (it's not finished yet) but managed to recover by re-flashing using the Flash Tools a back up I had taken just after installing CWM.
Do you have a back up you can flash?
I have just checked mine and even zipped it's still 800MB so I can't email it to you...
...sure if I looked about I could find somewhere to upload it to for you. PM me if you need this!!
The sd holder broke off, can i buy this http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...w?ie=UTF8&condition=new&qid=1379198350&sr=8-1 the galaxy s3 i9300 sd card slot holder and put it on my haipai i9389? or do i need specific haipai i9389 sd card slot holder.
Hi, I have a Kross GY-601 Tablet... One of the cheap chinese tablet you can pickup at factorydirect (Canada)
I seem to have bricked it when attempting to port Clockwork Mod Recovery to it. It does not show anything on screen or do anything, When I connect it to my computer.. It shows up as M6-CHIP in Device Manager as shown in my image.
The internal storage is completly gone as a result of my failed attempt to un-brick it..
It would be a great help if someone helped me fix this..
Thanks in advance..
-Henrique
PS: I'm only 13 sorry if my description of the problem is a bit bad..
Sooo,
You probably don't have proper drivers, use PDANet ones, they work even with obscure tablets.
You tried to port CWM or flash?
It's not bricked since your computer detects it
Last thing, do you have a backup recovery image or another recovery image that works so you can get it back up?
Daniel
I was dumb enough not to do any recovery image backups..
Also.. I ported cwm then flashed it with dd just poped the .img into the recovery block.. but since I didn't compile it properly when I adb reboot recovery.. It got into a boot loop.. so I tried to fix it but broke it even more... So then I tried re-writing the firmware for generic 4.1.2 chinese tablet.. but that messed it up to the point were it only shows as M6-CHIP.. i can only turn on and off.. nothing else.. no boot no screen light up nothing..
I can help you BUT....

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
I see you have made it to the location I was going to suggest:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63315776&postcount=12473
Unfortunately it is getting buried fast. I looked at that post as well. If you cannot authorize yourself to mount system and push the right file back via stock recovery (something that you can rarely do anyway), sadly you have too few options.
Only thing you can do is try to find a fastboot image to reflash system, if your device supports fastboot that is (alternatively, if you have download mode, an image for that). But for a rare device, you would end up having to deal with the manufacturer anyway, so your best bet may be getting it repaired by them.
Sorry, but I hope that helps.
Hi guys, i am new to this forum and would like some help on restoring a bricked (don't know how bad) android tablet. It first got jammed on the start screen logo because of an app that i uninstalled the wrong way. I then tried to reboot it and that is where the problem started, so I decided to try flash a nexus or TWRP or a CWM image with amd with no avail but my phone was detected. CMD kept on displaying that the size of the images were too large, but the RAMDISK.img flashed. After this I also tried sideloading the nexus 5 image, since that's all I could find in the bootloader that actually worked. Unfortunately, as soon as i copied it showed 'aborted' therefore I rebooted it and the cycle began
The battery then drained and now I can't access recovery mode or fast boot (only the menu) which eventually goes off after a few seconds, and when I plug it in, it shows the critical battery sign then tries to boot, but doesn't charge and does this repeatedly. It doesn't display the boot image at all.
It is an Alps LC 007 Tab with some MTK kernel and a custom recovery and bootloader. Is there any hope of reviving my tablet? Please help????????

Seriously? I came to this forum with a mild situation and now I've completely bricked my mt65xx device doing things I didn't know how to do. It's been 3 days!
DAY 1
I try use adb to undo soft brick but the battery dies and I can't access the bootloader or fastboot or recovery but just the boot menu.
DAY 2
I try use the SPF tool with not much knowledge from the YouTube videos I watched and I end up formatting my device with only a backup of the system.img (which isn't even an image).
DAY 3
The device is completely unresponsive after trying over and over with a little bit more knowledge from research.
Now I'm wondering what would've happened if I got a response at least to catch my attention and stop me from doing things without knowledge of what I'm doing. I'm not forcing People to help but at least reply so that I stop. 108 views and no reply. Sorry if I sound a bit too grumpy but I am not happy. .......
