I need to do a total wipe, how do i do that, connect to pc as disk and format disk?

I have asked the same question and got a answer . I just cant find the damm thread . It involved a flash with a wipe .
I am looking for it .

I was searching your forum and was very impressed,and found alot of interesting topics and awnsers...
never the less i still have some open questions
1: Wheni followed the "am's Ho to on PPC'S", i need 2 copy ntrw.exe..
but i cant' open the card without formating it..maybe there is a solution?
2: I need a very small Rom with Big Storege allredy "in it"..i couldnt' find any..
maybe u could help me with this...or at least a (WWE)Rom..with only basic apps. .the rest ill install myself

hi:
tilt wont connect to PC via usb anymore, shop told me that MB was jacked.
so now i need to just use via micro card to flash..
i guess i m sposed rename file (rom) to "KAISIMG.nbh" ..
my questions are ::
is this case sensitive?
if i wanna flash radio or spl's, do i name them the same as 'KAISIMG.nbh' ?

Wouldn't it be easier to do a hard reset though instead of flashing?
(or try and fix the problem since theres thousands of threads on here about USB problems.)

i did read and go thru all that,, story shortened == had to be sure about the case sensitive etc..

Well, I searched for the same answer for a couple of days on this forum and could not find it. At least I found the same Question right here!!
And with some trial and error I found the Answer!!
YES, yes, if you only want to flash the radio, you also rename it to KAISIMG.nbh.
Hope it helps someone else too.

these music systems are not showing any music within my sd card ( and it had before even with the vold.fstab trick ) and i had searched for the .nomedia with no avail... wanting to know if there is any solution ( and i don't have rom manager installed ) i just reflashed reformatted dalvik cleared cache etc and still nothing had done this twice and it's starting to fu*kin irritate me seriously

anyone have an answer in regards to my thread or are we gonna read it with out trying to help out lol ( im not irritated by no means ) im just wanting to figure this out i reflashed back to stock 4.0.4 ( which i have realized oh hey cool....when i bought the phone lol ) and then started to learn how to flash etc root and now i miss my lovely dev's roms man there freakin awesome but this is just odd cause ive reflashed reformatted cache wiped numerous times and nothing seems to work within the roms specifically my music an im not understanding nor am i finding any .nomedia files hidden anywere so if anyone would please read this an possibly have an answer i would very much appreciate it

hello I am a noob so plz help me.I wanted to install a rom so I kept a backup and then wiped cache.But i couldn't find the rom because it was rar instead of zip so I rebooted my phone but it couldn't open.So I restored it from the back up but I still couldn't open it.I didn't know what to do so I formated everything.After this I putted the original rom in external sd because i cant open it to put it in the internal sd but i cant install it and it says installation aborted and shows a pic with ! and an adroid.

First welcome to out forum I hope you will find what you need . And thank you because you posted in the general section:good: .
Calm down your problem is too easy just download a ROM and install it .
Try this :-

After you install it ,, go to in recovery (Advanced --> wipe dalvik cache) That's all .

Hi All ... nice forum u have here.
I m not sure wether Im in the right place, however I am intersted in learning about custom bootable roms.
I have an MXIII 2gb android based tv box .... and I wld like to know how exactly why i keep cooking a ROm with Android kitchen .... and i keep getting `verification failed` msg on rom update.
I probably need to replace the bootloader on the device ... but i dont know how.
I did also try by formatiing the sdcard with a partiton starting from cylinder #3 in fat32 format ... placing the files from android kitchen there ... with no sucess
For the record Im an ubuntu linux user by default ... I tried connecting to adb over tcp via terminal ... but im doing something wrong.
Tried the usb adb ... but ubuntu does not recognize the unit
Tried Android sdk ... but i cant load the factory Rom in it
what im really looking for is to make a minimalistic Rom that I can install from sd card easy
totally lost ... appreciate some help
