[REQ] How about a CDMA ROM Development forum

Just a suggestion it would clear up any confustion, and stop someone from flashing the wrong rom on there tp. Just a thought, anybody else think its a good idea.

Not yet, but if you build they will come... sorry i had to say that. I know at ppcgeeks they are working on a hard spl, as soon as that is done than i sure ther will be custome roms, also it help facilitate further development.

Porting ROM's to the HTC Magic

Hi!
I already searched, but the search function sucks.
I'm new to the Magic ROMs (I made Dream ROMs) and I want to know how to port ROMs from the Dream to the Magic.
Is the wlan.ko from the dream compatible with the Magic?
Does it need a different kernel?
I know I need to rename the *trout files in the Ramdisk/Boot.img.
Is there anything else?
If you tell me how to do this, you'll get a veryy nice Hero.. ;-) I promise.

check this thread for 32a cyanogen ports. BUT at the top of the thread there is instructions provided by Amon_ra about how to port your own.

Thanks but I think it's different for 32B and ROM's other than Cyanogen (He already made his build compatible with 32B)

T-Mobile Pluse for Magic 32A

Can someone be encouraged to port the pluse rom available over to the dream forum for HTC magic 32A users? I would love to have it on my device. I am sure others would appreciate that. The link is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=568318

If you guys already had them and this is old news or if these are useless to dream user please delete devs. I just thought this may help with these new hero roms coming out sorry if im wrong

Well, it'd make more sense to post this in Tattoo and Hero forums, wouldn't it? These kernels have nothing to do with the Dream.

I would think this could be helpful here - lots of Hero ports, question is more about proprietary addon code than kernel I think though. Wish we could get Hero BT on G1....

Rom Chefs?

Firstly, sorry if this is in the wrong section, didn't know really where to start
Hi all, i needs to find anyone that is willing to develop or modify HTC Salsa Roms, currently i have Stock which cannot be flashed back and i am using a Chinese variant, with google patch to get maps etc. on O2.
Currently i cannot find chefs creating or doing anything with the HTC Salsa software and need to find a chef here willing to help us lonely users out.
