I have been messing around with the boot.img to try and get this to work on the 32A board, but if someone could help with the port it would be appreciated (or point me in the right direction)!
I have this on my Rogers device. I have very limited knowledge but it seems to be working. Thanks to jerpelea in this thread for porting it to 32b from the dream...that is beyond me. See this thread for known issues/info about cyanogen's excellent rom. For interest sakes I followed these steps by amon_RA. If you find problems that arent from Cyanogen's ROM, let me know, not sure what I will be able to do...but I can try.
I'm very interested as well if this is ported to 32A.

I have downloaded you 32a modified version. Can I use you boot.img to get the palm pre version I mentioned working?

Not yet...my linux machine has had a little hickup, so right now I am unable to try and repackage a boot.img for the palm pre rom. I'll post one here if I get one working.
looks like there is a new update for hero phones...can it be ported for 32a boards?

I don't understand what's so special about this ROM.
I was reading the description and among all there's one application (that you can get it apart of this ROM) and that's it..
I know who can port it, I don't but, why you want it so much?

I'm new to the Magic ROMs (I made Dream ROMs) and I want to know how to port ROMs from the Dream to the Magic.
Is the wlan.ko from the dream compatible with the Magic?
Does it need a different kernel?
I know I need to rename the *trout files in the Ramdisk/Boot.img.
Is there anything else?
If you tell me how to do this, you'll get a veryy nice Hero.. ;-) I promise.

check this thread for 32a cyanogen ports. BUT at the top of the thread there is instructions provided by Amon_ra about how to port your own.

Nearly all the 32B-compatible development and ROMs live over in the Dream forum, since most ROMs for Dream are 32B Sapphire (original myTouch 3G) compatible. Confusing, I know, but that's the way it ended up.
it is easy. look at the title of the thread. 32B will be labeled as 32B and 32A will be labeled as 32A. cant get easier than that. Plus like olearyp mentioned, most dream roms will work on 32B. so u can just go to the drive forum for roms dont really have to come here. but here u will find more specific roms for the sapphire.

i know that. I can read. I was simply asking if there was a way to organize it a little better. I guess i should of said that in the first post. sorry.
i understand where this guy is coming from, cuz for some reason i live on a androidspin ANDDDDD the dream thread but i found a Fender rom in here for 32b that i wouldna found anywhere else; smh we should honestly talk to dudes to seperate it even though its labeled in the titles...i'd cause less problems, unnecesary questions and whatnot
I have Relentless Rom Roaster and ive been trying to convert 32a rom with new radio to 32b cant seem to get it work. i was just curious if it was really possible or a way to change it. i would really like to learn on how to port roms and create my own if anyone dev wanna give me a hand on where to begin or a book or how to videos that could get me going would be great thanks and advance !
