So i was try this INCREASING RAM method for Xp Play

i know its for play , but i it just a same for other xperia i guees..
already done SD card partition , using this method

= 6GB(fat32) , 1GB(linuxswap) all primary
copied 00userinit attachment as RAM thread above
set permission , reboot , check at Terminal Emulator
but swap still '0" , which mean ram not increased yet..
is there anyone already done this? and working on it?
please tell me what method i miss , or should im not do..

Maybe I'm gonna get killed for posting this, but never mind...
Here is my problem : I just installed Cyanogen Mod 9 on My Sony Xperia S, following the tutorial from the Free Xperia team.
At first I could not make it because of an assert error, solved by deleting the beginning of the update script.
It is working finally, except the phone doesn't recognize my SIM card.
I used the kernel provided in the update archive to install CMOD9, and maybe you should know I was using Doomkernel and KA02 Xperia SSpeed modified stock ROM just before.
Is there anythig to do?

after updating my xperia pro mk16i to ics 4.0.4 my phone is lagging so much , games are running slow , dialpad is opening after 5-6 secs , music is lagging , videos are lagging so i saw a thread and they said after resetting ur phone this problem will be solved but it didn't i've resseted it so many times , then i searched on google and checked out many forums then i saw after istalling custom rom it will run smooth but my phone is not rooted and i've tried everything to root my phone but nothing worked everything was done perfectly but when i use rootchecker app to see if my phone is rooted then it says " ur phone is not rooted correctly" whats the problem?? :'( please help me to root my phone i will be very thankfull to u all , thanx in advance pls help me.

Hi recently installed on my SONY Xperia U the SlimCM rom with atis modify to install it on locked bootloaders...
I've 2 weird problem that I think dont depend from SlimCM so I post that here:
- The clock that appear after tap on clock widget was really pityfull(only alarm setup)...there some mod or something else tha I can install to get some app like the stock clock/alarm/world clock/ chronometer/timer that appear on standard ony rom? I tryed to search on the net but dont found anything...maybe due to my bad english...
- another problem that I heave was that the BackUp&Restoer app by sony dont works on that rom....I tryed to extract it from the stock ftf rom and installe dit but dont works...it FC imediately after tapping on it...anyone can help me with that? I really need to open my old backup(also if it was possible to recover it from windows was fine...), since I've some work realted stuffs to reinstall with tha related saves/infos...

Hey guys so i just changed my build.prop file of my xpeira tipo dual (downloaded it ) from a guy who has a tipo non dual he said to another person :
U need to change ro.product.device,.name,manufacturer
in short change Sony to Samsung and st21i to I9100
if u feel bored than extract my zip attached to this post and replace it with ur build.prop
in system folder with root explorer keep a backup of ur old one by copying it any where...
Yes still it will download data for Andreno but if u have problems than change Samsung to htc
And I9100 to desire_hd Samsung galaxy s2 to htc desire hd in my modified build.prop
and gave a file that i downloaded and replaced it by mine so i rebooted my device and i see the unfortunatly system ui has stoped working and my sim is also not working i did factory reset but same if any one of you guys have same device please give me your build.prop and a ideas to fix that

I try to find the need Version I get just one link and not working

Can I use this Version no problem ? Because I need after root back to my new version And I need Arabic Version just for Write Arabic .
Can I used ? It Easier to download and I any one can help me with arabic rom .74 link it's batter .
