Hey guys so i just changed my build.prop file of my xpeira tipo dual (downloaded it ) from a guy who has a tipo non dual he said to another person :
U need to change ro.product.device,.name,manufacturer
in short change Sony to Samsung and st21i to I9100
if u feel bored than extract my zip attached to this post and replace it with ur build.prop
in system folder with root explorer keep a backup of ur old one by copying it any where...
Yes still it will download data for Andreno but if u have problems than change Samsung to htc
And I9100 to desire_hd Samsung galaxy s2 to htc desire hd in my modified build.prop
and gave a file that i downloaded and replaced it by mine so i rebooted my device and i see the unfortunatly system ui has stoped working and my sim is also not working i did factory reset but same if any one of you guys have same device please give me your build.prop and a ideas to fix that

Maybe I'm gonna get killed for posting this, but never mind...
Here is my problem : I just installed Cyanogen Mod 9 on My Sony Xperia S, following the tutorial from the Free Xperia team.
At first I could not make it because of an assert error, solved by deleting the beginning of the update script.
It is working finally, except the phone doesn't recognize my SIM card.
I used the kernel provided in the update archive to install CMOD9, and maybe you should know I was using Doomkernel and KA02 Xperia SSpeed modified stock ROM just before.
Is there anythig to do?

So i was try this INCREASING RAM method for Xp Play

i know its for play , but i it just a same for other xperia i guees..
already done SD card partition , using this method

= 6GB(fat32) , 1GB(linuxswap) all primary
copied 00userinit attachment as RAM thread above
set permission , reboot , check at Terminal Emulator
but swap still '0" , which mean ram not increased yet..
is there anyone already done this? and working on it?

I was recently trying to install xperia z2 nd z camera apps on my xperia c. i reffered this ....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2649143 and this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2684060.... i tried to move all the files as per their location in my mobile but unfortunately my stock camera app was removed and i dont know where were all the rest of apps installed. wht can i do to install my stock camera app or xperia z camera app.... i m stuck at nowhere.. plz help.. thank you
I had this problem nothing you can do about.but if you had backup before restore it and if you don't try to flash the ftf file or repair by Sony's pc program.

if you don't have backup then Use SUS to Flash back to stock
is there any other way except flashing

I recently had bricked my phone while trying to install bravia engine 2. but i secovered it with the sony PC companion. But all my data was lost.
I dont want to flash as I will have to take a very huge sized backup. so is there any other way?

Hi to all Xda developers/admins
Just want to ask regarding the X-Reality for Xperia devices cuz I already downloaded it on my C2105 device but nothing happened I already check my file commander and display setting and their no X Reality in my Display do I have to restart my phone in order to see it on my Display setting and where I could find this BUILD.PROP cuz I already search it on my phone and didnt find it
Need help plsss. ASAP X-Reality for my phone
