As the title says, I need an original omnia 7 pre-8107 ROM.
There is a thread with links, but they are dead.
There is also a page on sammy firmware, but I don't know which one should I use:
http://bit.ly/IbRp3A
My phone has been bought in Croatia (Europe) on t-mobile operator and has been sim unlocked after that. I need to keep SIM unlock too.
Are these instrucion applicable for what I need to do:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=973420
My intent is to do a manual rollback to be able to windowbreak my Omnia and than update via Zune to the latest OS version (8107 currently). I am doing this because Croatia has been given a marketplace access and I want to do a hard reset.

In my opinion you should install a custom rom, like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1485576

Thanks for the advice, but i've given up on custom ROMs, since i noticed all of them have some bugs and problems. And CAB updating does not work reliably. And they more often than not come with those modified tile and icon skins.
Got an answer on another thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1570569&page=2
Downloaded firmware, no magldr needed, i just need to follow these instructions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=973420
Also, it would seem i don't even have to flash anything, since zune restore will be enough for my purposes.
Hi guys,
I have a Lumia-820 factory unlocked global version (rm-825).
I like to change this firmware to rm-826.
The only reason I am very interested to install rm-826 is to have the AWS-1700.
I tried with Nokia Care Suite (after downloading the rm-826 from NaviFirm+), but I was unable to flash my phone!
Did anyone able to do this? Could someone please help me with this?

No, 'RM-825' is your physical handset model. The RM-826 is a different handset with different hardware, and firmware for it will not work on your phone (even if it flashes, it won't work and might even damage your phone).
Hello !
I posted yesterday about upgrading to lollipop on an unlocked bootloader.
I thought i got it, but need additional help.
1. Im using Xperifirm to find 23.1.A.1.28, but i can only find versions that has diffrent brand names. I have Halebop carrier, and I can only find Telenor and 3. What differences is there based on branding?
Can you just use the Central Europe one without problem or what is that ?
2. What do R2C mean after the version name. 23.1.A.1.28/R2C ?
3. Do i need to manually root it, if i cant find any prerooted versions, and if so how do I do it? Can i preroot it myself before flashing?
4. Custom recovery: Do you flash it on the same time as the android firmware? or do you do it separately? do I need it first to be able to fastboot?
Sorry for the noob questions, im new to flashing. Have done it before, but then i knew exactly what i was doing from the beginning, now im om a used phone, and have no idea what has been done. I know it has unlocked bootloader, but cant get Super Su to work to root.
PLEASE HELP ME !
BTW I have looked for answers in the forums, but I cant get the whole picture out of it... And some of the guides were outdated etc.
(I have Flashtool 0.9.18.2 installed)
Discalimer: I am quite new at this but here what's i understand:
1. For same device, i.e. D6653 you can sue any ROM, difference customizations just include special apps from that country and carrier. I am using customized HK ROM and debloated it.
2. I don't really know but different regions have different codes like that so I think it just for different regions.
3. Yes, first thing you want to do it, search giefroot, that's the tool you root with, use a FTF to flash back to 23.0.A.2.93 and root and install "nut dual recovery". You need to flash back because that's the only one you can root on Z3. After, this never flash FTF unless it's completely unavoidable for some reason. Always flash zips through recovery. Search "PRF Creator", it will help you make prereooted firmware zips.
4. I answered this in 3.
Hi,
I am a little new and don't really know about this subject but :
I purchased a new phone : a Gome K1.
This is not tablet but phone. This is a new brandt. This a MTK (MT6757).
For the story, it came to me with chinese ROM, all menus in chinese
I asked to the seller to give me a ROM with playstore and french. They done it.
I flashed their new ROM with a proprietary flash tool. Now I have a android 6 ROM with Playstore, french menus. Well !
But I'd like to know if there is a way to root it, and install a TWRP :
The ROM came with bootloader locked and no recovery. It is entirely blocked.
No way to unlock bootloader via the general way (fastboot oem unlock --> unknown command)
I read some articles that deal with spflashtool and porting TWRP, but I'm new to this and I don't think I will be able to make all these steps correctly to flash a TWRP ...
Does someone has an idea ?
Is my post on the good topic ?
Up, does someone have an idea of how to root it ?
Hello,i also have a Gome K1 phone and I am also interested at rooting it.
There is an ' OEM unlocking option' under the developers option in the settings, have you tried that yet?
If you managed to import twrp and rooted the phone can you pls send here the steps, Thanks
Hello, happy to not be alone with this phone ...
Yes I tried everything, after enabling unknown source, OEM unlocking and USB Debugging developer options :
- All root apks
- all existing root kits using ADB
- Method with a linux distro to access Phone filesystem as root ( cannot see my phone ... )
Now I'm trying to use SP flashtool last version, but even that cannot correctly access the phone to Readback my recovery : there is BROM error, so I think that phone is not compatible with the phone (seen on a forum ...)
So if someone has an idea, he is welcome

When I contacted them, they send me a non rooted custom ROM which embed Google Apps and All language, AND another flash tool.
This flash tool seems to be based on SP flash tool. It seems to have restrictions (no readback ability ...).
I'm not able to backup anything with this tool or with SP flash tool.
Whis spflashtool, when clicking ReadBack, I power off my phone, and plug USB cable.
It begins the process but I immediatly encounter a BROM error :
ERROR: status_brom_cmd_send_da_fail (0xC0060003)
I read a post which indicate to try to plug usb cable when pressing Power plus Volume Up, but I don't think it can work, because I know that their tool works without that operation.
So now I'm still stuck here. Does someone have an idea ?
Hi
On the Russian forum 4pda, the topic GOME K1 we are also discussing and trying to solve the problem of a locked bootloader. So far no results. ROOT is also not yet possible to get.
I've also ported twrp for GOME K1, but there's no point in installing it until the bootloader is unlocked. Otherwise we will get a brick.
Hi
In Developer options there is a setting to unlock bootloader, it's the third toggle down.
Hope this helps.

No, it's not working. This switch does not affect the boot loader state.

Hello vsxby,
I was successful in flashing custom ROM that vendor uploaded for me.
So I thing I can flash just the recovery with their tool. I'm not an expert, so I'm just a little affraid to follow a guide to port a TRWP for Gome K1 and try to flash it, since it can brick the phone.
If you want, I can't send you a copy of their tool they sent to me (SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.exe) ...

Thank you, but I already have this tool. As I wrote before flashing TWRP we need to unlock the bootloader. While this is not impossible to do. But one of our users on 4pda is going to ask the manufacturer to unlock bootloader. In case of success, I will inform you.
If you want to experiment and flash TWRP with a locked bootloader, I can give you the TWRP I made, but I warn you, it's not safe.
Bro,Can you upload the firmware and tools to google drive or something like? It will be very helpful for dealing with this mediatek replica phone(aus6757_66_m),i got some possible factory test MTK AOSP,but the link expires :(

We were unable to contact the manufacturer and the moderators of the official GOME forum do not have this information. At the moment, there are no solutions to this issue.

I used your tools in the windows 10 lap. and also in the windows 7 lap but it was useless. I am going to try the procedure in the windows 8.1 lap. can you tell me exactly how you flash your phone with that tool ?

i would be willing to help, i have alot of disk space + pc resources.
I found an (a01q) (SM-A015M) guide here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/how-to-root-samsung-a01-a015f-ds.4147191/page-2#post-85246899. As it reflects in the SM-S111DL adb shell, as a01q. Can someone verify if this is a variant? Should we be flashing parts of the (a01q) (SM-A015M) firmware to the SM-S111DL?
Also have we tried flashing different CSC's to verify if the OEM Unlock option appears in devops? also check to see on each csc is you can just natively run fastboot oem unlock in the bootloader.
I had trouble doing a carrier switch, so we just went back to Straight Talk, and gave the device back. Waiting for a knockoff unlocked s22 ultra from alibaba so my frend can move to qlink. So he has it for now. I dont want to risk bricking it and him not have a phone.
However, I thoroughly went through that device and the ramparts, investigating information about the device. so im hare to help and once we get the replacement device for him then ill try again on that device.
1. try different firmwares to verify if the OEM unlock function appears. It'll most likely be early versions of the firmware.
2. Verify the device variants and see if parts of their builds are congruent with 111DL
3. test each flash and attempt to enable fastboot
This is a lower end device but with a debloat and bl unlock i think it would be worth at least a little time.
I have crap tons of tools that will save you time.
Can we set up a sharepoint?
