[Q] Pantech marauder

Hi, my name is mike. I've been a fan of you guys for a while ever since I had my droid eris, droid x, and galaxy nexus. Well I recently got a Pantech Marauder (ADR910L) which I already have rooted. I had two questions:
1. Are there any roms out for this phone yet? (I searched around on your forums and found nothing)
2. Will Android Jelly Bean be released for this model? It came factory with ICS 4.0.3.?
I know this a "unpopular" phone, but the hardware in this phone are actually pretty legit. 1.2 ghz s4 snapdragon processor, dual core. 1gb ram, 4gb internal storage (can support up to 32gb sd card).
Sent from my ADR910L using xda app-developers app
? Anything?
WONDERING...
Hey guy, wassup? I have just gotten the Pantech Marauder from Verizon Wireless myself however I was curious what program you used to root this phone. I am having trouble finding something that works but guess its cause I been use to dealing with GB instead of ICS. Thanks for any help you offer. I haven't seen any ROMs out there as of yet. I guess its still kind of new to most developers.
Thanks,
David
Android ICS Root v1.0. Just plug your phone into the computer and run the script (.bat) file.

Hi there! I'm having no luck using the original data cable and a Win7 box. I'd very much appreciate some help.
I turned on USB debugging, and when I connect the phone and choose "MTP". I can access both the internal memory and the SD card.
But the rooting script hangs up at the first adb step. If I type "adb devices", the phone doesn't show -- which I'm sure is the problem.
In Device Manager, I see the ADR910L under "Other devices" with an exclamation mark. I've been unable to find a driver for this thing anywhere. Pantech support and Verizon support have been useless.
Did you have any problems rooting? Did you install a driver? What PC OS are you running?
Thanks!
Does anyone know where I can get a stock ROM for this thing?
Same problem

I am looking for the same answers. I have just purchased a Pantech ADR910L running 4.0.3. It is a verizon phone with a micro sim. I want to unlock my phone, and order a straight talk sim for it. I am assuming that it carries a micro sim card , and straight talk offers one for unlocked cdma phone. My full size sim, for my att/straight talk LG phone has 6 contact points while the Pantech from verizon appears to have 8 contact points for the micro sim. I don't know if this is standard eg. more contact points on a micro sim than full size sim? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I mostly need to find a way to unlock the carrier. After this I am going to buy the micro sim offered by straight talk offered for unlocked cdma phones. Please share any info that you might have found.
I challenge you
Hi all, Hey when can we get to see a Rom or Rom's for this phone? It's a sweet phone don't hate it. Please can someone make a Rom for us all ?

[Q] Flashing advice..and other questions.

I'm currently new to the xda forums, so I applogize in advance if i am posting in the wrong thread. But I currently recieved a samsung sph-d710 that was on sprint from a freind. I currently have a samsung galaxy reverb from virgin mobile that currently has service, and I've been reading around different forums and faqs about flashing phones to other carriers and was wondering if there was any way i could get this phone to work with my virgin mobile account. I know that virgin mobile has had this phone on there service before(my mom has one). And also is it possible for me to somehow rip off the stock virgin mobile android os from her phone? I've browsed around and couldnt find any downloads for the stock virgin mobile os for the phone, so i think this may be the only way for me to get the os. Also how would i go about copying her os system? Do i need to root her phone and create a clockwork mod recovery of her phone, then somehow extract that file to my computer, then use some program to fully flash it over? I'm all very new to the flashing carriers, although i do have basic knowledge of rooting and running custom roms. Does flashing a sprint phone to virgin have to be done with a special program on the computer(i have cdma workshop, but have no clue how to use it). And also even if i was able to flash the phone to virgin mobile, wont the esn still be registered as a sprint phone? Or is the esn device type specific? Also what is prl? Do they need to be updated? I guess in general i'm asking alot of question, but what are the steps to flashing the phone over, what all needs to be changed? If anyone can help answer one or all of these questions i would be forever greatful. Also pointing me to some tutorials would be greatly appreciated :fingers-crossed:

[Q] 4.0.4 Verizon S3 to Straight talk

Hello all! I believe what I am trying to do is possible, but I am having trouble figuring out exactly where I should start.
I just bought a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 model SCH-I535 with a clear ESN on Ebay and am hoping to get it working with my Straight Talk service. It is running 4.0.4. Will I need to update? Is rooting required? I have tried updating manually but it failed. Is there a universal android 4.1.2 (or other) firmware file I need or do I need a file specifically for my phone?
The phone came with a Verizon sim card, and the phone I am currently using on ST does not have a sim card, so I am assuming that I will need to buy an AT&T sim card, right? Then I can activate that sim onto my ST account? Then the rest is a matter of the proper settings?
Thank you all for your expertise.

Need working firmware

I want to start with saying sorry I'm not very savvy in this stuff so forgive me ahead of time. My little sister was goofing off with me phone trying to mess stuff up and somehow managed to do a full wipe including removing all firmware from my phone. My phone carrier sent me to samsung who told me they have no records of my model number ever even existing so they aren't able to re-flash my phone. I eventually found a rom online and flashed it but this one won't connect to data for internet. The model number is SM-J700M and it's a Samsung Galaxy J7. Please help! I don't care what fancy features the Rom comes with or if it's rooted or not I just want my phone to work again
