I make themes for fun... I love my android phones and customization is the main reason I enjoy them so much. Normally, I would never consider taking a donation but recently hard times have befallen my family and I. I will spare you my sob story, but you guys should know that I am the proud father of a three month old baby boy!

What color should i make the accents? I was going with yellow, but I'm not sure that that many people would like it. Multiple colors can be made but a little direction would be great to start off with

maybe i'm just a minimalist, but i prefer to have neutral colors. blacks, greys, whites, maybe some subtle dark/light browns.

OK... so for the people that want this theme... what rom are you running?
CyanogenMod is what I'm theming on because it's what I prefer and what most of you will be using in times to come, but I can get this up and running on sense as well. The status text on CM is also easily changed via spare parts
Keep in mind that status bar text is not editable on any rom that is not de-odexed so your text will be white rather than orange.
Anyone feel like testing? theme run's great but feedback is always nice

Beta released for CM 5.0.8 test 3. Please let me know how you guys like it. I'm taking a break for tonight and will work more tomorrow.
Tomorrow I'll edit progress bars to be orange and finish up the framework. After that I'll jump into apps.

This theme is almost done, 1.0 is released! Just need to do some touch ups on the framework then theme a few apps.

Ive found a thread with a port of increvolution, but it was a personal port, and it was edited by the person who posted the theme. so now i am asking you people to please port it to skyraider 3.3

Any word on progress? I liked INCRevolution on Virtuous, but had to leave it (Virtuous) because of problems with Handcent, but loved the theme!

I'm still working on getting it to flash. Done with theme. Did you want it to be exactly like increv or did you want it to not have anything labeled. Like did you want me to remove the words that say inc rev from everything?

Personally, I do not mind the IncRev stuff. So long as the Android green that permeates everything is nonexistent, I shall be a happy rooter. And while the orange (highlighted selections, etc) does not bother me nearly as much, feel free to dispose of it as well. Hmmm... perhaps I should throw you some more money for a completely custom color scheme.
I cannot wait to check out the screens and deliver donation.

if you want to check out RedRaven rom
im just porting my theme to work with SR 3.3 and adding the increv stuff to it
got rid of about 95% of red
the market is now fully red
phone is fully red even the little green droid guy on call screen is red
most of the green icons are red
im just having trouble getting it to flash with SR 3.3
i may try a metamorph zip to flash it.

I like the inc rev I would leave it XD. I can't wait for this theme. Lol I'm not living virtuous until skyraider gets it. Thank you so much for porting XD

Thanks for working on it. I personally don't mind the INCRev logos. The theme from the Virtuous section of rom manager does technically work, but the problem is that you loose the "recently used" in the pull down menu by using the theme. Although if yours is more red than INCRevo then by all means, I'll give yours a shot =] I kinda like the red, it brings out the red of the speaker on the front of the phone I feel. Might be time to get a red case!

sorry for the delay i just have so many projects that im working on right now its hard to
find the time to do everything.
i have caught up a bit so ill be able to focus on this a bit more
my main issues right now are
1. when flashing the theme it boot loops when you try to get the power menu by power button.
2. the recent apps in the task bar pull down.
so once i fix these issues i will have it working for you guys

Perhaps ihtfp69 could assist?

I'm running 3.3.2 and loaded the R
IncREVolution theme that is supposed to work on,any DeOdexed Rom, and the power button also reboots the phone. It doesn't make it keep rebooting, just any time you press the power button, which is of course annoying..... may try the latest Virtuous release with IncrEVOlution

[Themed Roms] Ported Evo Themes To Aosp

So I was over in the Evo forums & I ran across some themes I liked & sorta wanted. I talked to the originators over there & they were more than cool with me porting them over. So now they are themed roms. I decided to port them over to Aosp only because there's less bloat & it just runs smoother for me. I wasn't gonna post them especially since a lot of focus is on 2.3 but a couple people that I talk to asked for them. I'm currently not running any of these but maybe someone will So all credit goes to sonnysekhon, brandenk, & Riptide9 for the themes.
I'm putting the screenshots at the bottom. There's the KspecKustomGingerbread & this one pretty much looks like gingerbread just with a nice circle batt. Then the MattedBlues which is well....greyish darkish matted ummm blue. I think the notifications actually looked engraved in when they pop up....I think. And then there's the Riptide9....it's got a circle batt...white status bar & blah blah. I take no credit but I give all to you guys who help me out over here .....& yeah we need some more girls on here not just me hahaha.....

Wanted to use the matted blue theme for a min and since I haven't got the Evo yet this was a must...other than some of the text being hard to see (not really a prob to me) and the gallery app being kinda messed up (just replaced it with the one from the original aosp) it's a nice port...probably will use this til I upgrade

If you want I will port it to cm6.2 so that way you can change the color of the text

If you want to make it easy for aosp download the twopointtwo theme grab the services.jar and in the framework Res the statusbar.xml put them in your themes and it should make that stuff white

[THEME] Blackened for CM7 Theme Chooser

This theme was originally done for a themed ROM for the Eris by tazzpatriot a long time ago. I decided a while back to put it into Theme Chooser for MDPI devices and now that I've moved to the Incredible I'm working on bringing it to HDPI devices as well. For the most part everything is just about done. There are still a few details that need to be polished to get the Theme Chooser version to where I want it. With that being said, I'm going to put up the link for anyone that wants to check it out. This theme does do ADW, LauncherPro and Go Launcher. Dialer, keyboard and some app icons. There's still a little bit of things that need resizing... Like I said... it's a work in progress.

Blackened For CM7 Theme Chooser
Download the apk and install like an app. Open Theme Chooser and select the theme then reboot.
Use this file with ZipThemer (free in the market), to change your lockscreen sliders to Red, Black and White Iron Crosses. Download the zip file to your SD Card. Open Zip Themer hit +Theme, select the zip file then hit Build It. Zip themer will create 2 flashable zip files, an update zip and an undo zip in case you want to put the sliders back to stock. Reboot into recovery and flash the update zip. That's it

It should. One thing though... The 4g icon will not be themed, 3g, 2g and 1x will though. I haven't added any 4g icons to the theme.

Yes. It's on the list. Part of the resizing list I'm working on lol. If everything goes well today I hope to get a chance to get to some more of it this evening and have a updated apk put together tonight sometime. Had a lot going on here last couple of days so it's been pretty crazy here

Really liked this theme but when I used it my market quit working. It wouldn't open. No force closes just nothing when I hit it. Any ideas?

Need help finding a theme

Hey guys, im looking for a theme to install on the STOCK ROM. I like the stock feel so im stickin with that. I am looking for some sort of blue/black or blue/white theme. I have found a thread for a blue/black one but there is no download link :-\.
I have the blue S3 with a blue case so thats why im looking for a blue theme. If anyone has a link to a theme thats blue / something please lmk lol.

If you really wanted true customization you could read up on TW customization and the decompile certain file and make your own images to suit any style you wanted.

This is true. Problem is is that im busy all the time and dont get much time to actually sit down and learn this kind of stuff.

Everything i try that actually installs and i can boot up, i get a UI System stopped working and i have no status bar. Idk how fo fix that. Everything is themed like it shows but no status bar at all. Completely gone. Ugh this is frustrating lol
Also i have 2 "res" folders in my systemui.apk file.... idk why. Odd. And i cant edit out one of them with rootexplore or nothing cause its a apk ofcourse... I have tried this ninja app thing on the market and it is supposed to edit them but it wont see both res folders so something is up... and not making sense. Ill just nandroid backup for now until someone has a idea lol. Remember, every theme does this to me.

I'd re-install the rom your using, wipe data (Backup data you don't want to loose first) and cache, make a backup of this stock rom. Then use adb to pull systemUI.apk and framework-res.apk from your phone to your computer. Next use apk tool or a similar tool to decompile the apk, then make the changes you want (Changing images, changing xml, etc.), after you have completed this recompile the apk (Or apks). Do not sign system apps, make sure permissions are correctly set, then push the apk back to your phone. Check out this guide for more info.

Seems like wayyy to much to do for a theme lol. I have a couple ideas im gonna try and see how it goes. Thanks for the imput! Really do appriciate it!

I can use KindaCrapMods to change my status bar by itself. I do like that. I have not tried it with a theme but i think some things my interact with theme + mod and not work right. Idk for sure. Just a guess

Omega status bar can also be used for all kinds of painless status bar customizing (Free and paid version).
