[Theme REQ]ZenEXP

So i saw the most beutiful theme/rom for the hero but is there any way anyone can make this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=666967&highlight=zen for the evo?

Whoa, that is a beautiful theme. It would be awesome if that could be ported over to the EVO somehow.

I sent him a PM, so if ur interested mayb u can pm him and if enough people show interest hopefully he will make something for the EVO.

Hey all unfortunatly this is not a theme persay its a full rom. Frameworks and all are very different but the theme for MT3G would need to be resized

I am new to themeing but not new to android. I also love this Rom and its theme and currently working on a theme for us. The rom comes with 7 scenes, for those who have seen it what color do you prefer?

LOL good currently working on that color scheme as I like that one myself. By the way it will be for Toast rom "Fresh" since the bottom bar will remain except color.

This is after a couple of hours. Still need tons of work but you can see the dark carbon fiber on status bar and the new image for the slide bar. Hard to tell but also added the header. All the icons have to be redone as they dont match the darker look of espresso.

The lightshow theme (pink & blue) would be super awesome.
With the different screen resolutions, would it be possible to port this ROM over to the EVO?

I make themes for fun... I love my android phones and customization is the main reason I enjoy them so much. Normally, I would never consider taking a donation but recently hard times have befallen my family and I. What color should i make the accents? I was going with yellow, but I'm not sure that that many people would like it. Multiple colors can be made but a little direction would be great to start off with

I think I would like an orange color to go with the gray.

maybe i'm just a minimalist, but i prefer to have neutral colors. blacks, greys, whites, maybe some subtle dark/light browns.

OK... so for the people that want this theme... what rom are you running?
CyanogenMod is what I'm theming on because it's what I prefer and what most of you will be using in times to come, but I can get this up and running on sense as well. The status text on CM is also easily changed via spare parts
Keep in mind that status bar text is not editable on any rom that is not de-odexed so your text will be white rather than orange.
Anyone feel like testing? theme run's great but feedback is always nice

Beta released for CM 5.0.8 test 3. Please let me know how you guys like it. I'm taking a break for tonight and will work more tomorrow.
Tomorrow I'll edit progress bars to be orange and finish up the framework. After that I'll jump into apps.

Did you guys wanna give it a whirl on stock sense? The clock text color is gonna be white

i think you need to see about getting some of these up on Rom Manager, i think all you have to do is talk to koush

I gotta find hosting space and make the javascript file...

This theme is almost done, 1.0 is released! Just need to do some touch ups on the framework then theme a few apps.
Give it a try and let me know if its to you liking.

[THEME] Black Xeth Ported to CM6

So black is the in color around here soooo....
Black Xeth has been ported to CM6 by me. I take no credit for the theme (just the port) as it was done by LordSeth and the op is here.
I ported what was available in cm6 and this was to test out a theme porting program I'm working on so its not everything but its a nice looking theme.
If you guys want this to get further developed try and see if Lord Seth will do it. If not maybe I'll hand it off or Ill include everything he did. At least go to his op and give him some props.

Side note: was thinking about making a "Fast Theme" basically the theme would be all grayscale or 16 bit indexes to see if this would make my phone faster... ya or nay?

Hey, its been a while sense I have seen this theme. I was the one who "ported" it to DarchDroid, but it's really good to see this theme back here. Let me know if you need any help.

i actually like this theme a lot, but in the status bar i cant read any of the text because its black. is there anyway i can change it?

Well technically I can port any theme to cm6 as long as its an mdpi theme. Its takes roughly 30 minutes for the script to run.

I'm taking that this was the one you were working on glad to see you finally got it up and running I personally appreciate this one because this is the one theme I was asking a dev to port over and since no one said anything I was like I'll try it my self but trying to do this from ground up takes quite some time to get adapted to but all in all it's something new for me to explore and now I finally have this theme I can focus else were my goal is to b able to do with a rom what I want or even build one but for now I've just been reading and getting all the software set up and running a few more tweaks and I'll be ready to receive a whole lot of errors and post ask a whole lot of questions lol any ways since you made this script the hero community will benefit I'm sure once again thanks

This theme is for CM6 stable and I never ported it o the nightlies, I just don't have the time to keep up with making a new version for every nightly. Sorry.

This theme is awesome, nice job!

[THEME][v0.90]Ice Cream Whiskey and ICS Hybrid for Bionix 1.4

I managed to take most of the Blue Steel out of the theme, but it's still beta, but Blue Steel was the template used and it helped me out a lot.
Known Issues
No clock on lockscreen (comes with blue steel, really annoying, and REALLY want to fix that). FIXED!!!
When picking a widget, the font remains black (but readable) on a dark background.
Where font color should be white, it's a blue instead (but doesn't look bad).
Blue text color on the grey buttons (see screenshot)... might change the button color because I'm horrible at decompiling/recompile to edit the .xml files.
There's a very very tiny blue line in the title bar of apps (hardly noticeable).
Next things to fix/change
Use stock ICS wifi and battery icons in top bar.
Change toast notification background from blue steel to ICS dark background. (Mostly accomplished)
Change button background from blue steel to ICS background. (Mostly accomplished)
Make semi-transparent background for drop down bar like Sonny's theme.
Make quick panel toggles toggle color more ICS blue colored instead of the turquoise-esque.
Fix the colors of fonts to better resemble Sonny's ICS theme for CM7 instead of everything blue... or keep most font colors blue ?

Kwes1020 for his IceCreamComb theme as an example and I used his contacts.apk and phone.apk to better match the theme. I also based this version strictly on kwes's IceCreamComb theme... it is the backbone to this theme .
Mr. Apocalypse for the ROM
KingDavid63 for the original Blue Steel theme, and NATA8986 for fixing that theme for Weapon 3.0.
Also a big thanks to uot kitchen .

Once again, I shall continue to edit this theme to try and make it more like stock/vanilla ICS when I am not working/free until it comes to my liking.
UPDATE:
So I'm actually getting a lot done with the theme now. I'm excited and way more motivated to keep going now . I shall hopefully have a new update later tonight, er, later today .
I'm really liking how it's coming out so far, posting update now and I also decided to change the name from ICS Blue Steel Hybrid to just simply Ice Cream Whiskey (in honor of Team Whiskey, and showing that this theme is specifically made for Bionix).
Feedback is also appreciated and considered.

Nice job on these, I love the transitions (is that how ICS is?) from the home screen to settings, etc. The hybrid is my favorite. I would ask for a blue clock on the status bar instead of white, if it can be done. Great work!

I believe that's how the transitions are, I added them from uot kitchen.
I tried for the blue colored clock too but didn't manage to find the right place that changes it.
I'm glad you like it though .

Do they both have the overglow on everything?

There was no framework changes made to v1.4.1, so this one would work fine for v1.4.1

These definitely won't work for any ICS based ROMs.
Well it was meant to be ICS-stock looking... so I don't know... I mean I can try, but can't guarantee anything, especially since I don't use ICS ROMs .

Can you explain a bit more? I tried finding styles.xml file in the SystemUI.apk folder but no luck. Also I don't know what I'm doing, so bare with me.

[Theme Chooser] TruBlue Inverted for Carbon 1.1

Here is a port of my inverted blue theme for Carbon 1.0. It is pretty simple but I think looks good. Try it out and let me know what can be changed or made better. As always with any theme chooser apk flash back to your original system then flash mine and do not worry about any error messages just hit apply anyway and then reboot for the full affect!

its a theme chooser apk. as long as your ROM has Theme Chooser built in the Theme will fucntion.

Oh thank you. I didn't know that! It said something about not having all the assets, so I figured it wasn't going to work.

If it gives you an error that you can just hit apply anyway then switch back to the stock theme reboot then after it reboots hit my theme,,all should be good, let me know.

just wondering how you got your soft keys blue. did you swap out the images or color the png's in framework/res/drawable/xhdpi? trying to figure out some stuff myself, but i just want to be sure i'm in the right place.

In older mods I swapped out the image just have to make sure the size matches,,,with this apk I just used GIMP to change the color of the existing png's in the drawable-xhdpi, hope that helps!

yeah, definitely helps. i;m a noob with gimp and paint.net, plus i have the artistic ability of a 3 year old. but i should be able to pull off something...

Can you share the hex code you're using with us, please.

The only thing I dont like about GIMP is you have to use a third party app to do batch processes

i'm not a huge fan of gimp either. but i'm new to this stuff and i try to use the easiest tools available. the xml mods give me nightmares. i've only had a computer for 8 months now, i'm just learning all this stuff. lol. i think i would get a better grasp of everything if i had someone actually show me. reading up on it and watching vids only do so much.
