CM Bootloop and Calling Problems - Samsung Infuse 4G

Ok so i flashed my phone to JB 4.1.1 about 1-2 months ago. It didnt connect to wifi, and i couldnt talk to anyone on the phone. Then i cleared cache and hthe wifi problem went away. but the calling issue didnt. the day jb 4.2.1 came out, my phone went into a boot loop. idk why. it just did, so i checked for any updates and i saw that jb 4.2.1 has been released. so i flashed to that. but the bootloop issue keeps happening and when i call some one or someone calls me i cant hear them. they can hear me but i cant hear them. PLEASE HELP !

Odd as it sounds, a lot of weird problems, bootloops and random reboots in particular, went away for me after I cleaned out the power button. I didn't even need to do a full disassembly. Just got it open enough that I could blast a few quick shots of compressed air at the button.

WEIRD PROBLEM phone randomly restarts

i had the same issue. i was just too lazy to post about it. my issue occured before the first update came out. then it stopped. i havnt had the issue with the rc30.
mine did this during a call, on a black version
any solutions maybe? lol
RC29, my phone vibrated and when I opened it it was rebooting.
When it came back up, it showed that I had gotten a text right before the reboot... dunno if its related. The timestamp was a couple of minutes prior, but I hadn't noticed it.

Having some very stranger wifi problems

Hey, guys.
I bought my Samsung Captivate a few months ago online, and for a few days, it worked great. Then I dropped it. I dropped it from about head height and it landed flat on it's back on my floorboards. This didn't seem to have damaged it, so I didn't worry about it.
Later than day, the power button suddenly stopped working completely. I did some research and found that pulling the phone down, spraying the button with some form of pure alcohol and pressing it a few hundred times would sometimes fix it, but it didn't.
I put my phone back together and my wifi wasn't working. Tried to reflash the ROM that I was using (ICS Slim 3.6, came on the phone when I bought it) and that made all of the connections come up, but when I tried to connect it dropped them all. I had to reflash the rom for them to come up and it still did it.
So, after my wifi not working for a few months, I decided to try JellyBean. I installed it according to this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1783064
So, I had been fiddling around with the rom, and had already had to reflash it once due to me stuffing something up, and I decided to see if the wifi was working, seeing as I was using a new kernel. It worked. I connected and it was working fine.
Later on in the night, I had to restart my phone, and the wifi wasn't working any more. I've even reflashed since to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be enormously appreciated.
Thanks
If you've got any ideas, please, let me know. I can't afford a new phone.

Got a serious problem!!

hey guys i own my galaxy sl since the day it was started to sold here, in Turkey. and i never had any issues with any rom i used. i'm not really sure but i guess everything began when i started to use LF2 with BAM kernel. i just did what i always did, flashed XXKPE, and after that flashed LF2. and everything goes well. but when the phone starts and asks for my pin code - whopp - it suddenly reboots itself. i always thought that this is normal since it happened a lot to me.
but i realized that it wasn't just an ordinary reboot. after the reboot the phone starts just normally. everything seems to be working. i just download the apps i need from google play and - whooppp - again, the screen goes off. but this time it doesn't even reboot. just got a blank screen. and after a few seconds the phone shuts itself totally off. after pushing the power button it opens but after the shining Samsung logo it just shuts itself off again.
And another issue,
while using mobile data the first 30 seconds are normal. i just open my web browser, search for something and suddenly the data transfer stops and the web page is not opening anymore. after a few 30 seconds my signal gets lost. and again after a few seconds more the phone shuts itself off again.
you can't even imagine how annoying this is. i'm not able to do anything with my phone. and i don't want to buy a new phone until summer. i experienced this issues always on clean roms. i always used the pit file and always made careful flashings. and like i said i haven't had any issues since the beginning of last week. just wanted to know if anyone has some suggestions or anyone else is facing the same problems. thanks in advance that read all this stuff, even if you're not able to help me...
try flashing the previous rom which was working perfectly on ur sl.if u have a backup try restoring it.
thanks for your reply but like i said nothing has worked. anyways i the samsung customer service solved my problem. my battery was very very thick. i could say it was ready to blast. in my opinion i think the battery was having some disconnections with the phone or it was just totally damaged. but it doesn't matter anymore. the service just replaced the old damaged one with a new one. and now it's rock solid again.

Frequent Reboots. Please Help

I have been using Cyanogen for at least the past year. In the past I have had trouble with things like random reboots, maps crashing during navigation, etc. Because of this I switched to just running the milestone releases for the past six months or so, and that has worked reasonably well. Its still way buggier than stock, but I put up with it for all of the nice features and what not.
Lately though reboots have become more and more frequent even though I hadn't changed anything. I had been running M9 for the past month with no real problems and then last night it decided to just go into a boot loop. I tried pulling the battery, clearing the cache, clearing dalvik, nothing worked. Eventually I just let the thing boot loop all night long and when I woke up it was finally booted.
Then this afternoon it did it again for a short period of time (3 or 4 minutes). When it came out I decided to download the newest, M10. It took several tries to actually flash it because the phone would reboot iself while in the middle of the wipe, or the flash, etc. But I started the wipe/flash process from the beginning every time to make sure I had a clean flash and eventually I got all the way through. But now it is at a point where it will boot, sit there for 2 or 3 minutes (I don't even touch it), and then reboot.
I'm hoping someone can help. I'm holding onto my unlimited data for dear life... I don't want to have to get a new phone. But re-flashing doesn't fix the problem so I really don't know what to do.

I don't know why your having such an issue with cm. Which is odd because I'm running a rom that's CM based and works fine. I'd say maybe try another rom if for nothing other than to see if CM is truly the issue.
I praise you for having the unlimited data still, I wish I would be been smarter and kept mine because there are months where I'm a little too close to that sad but lack of data with 2gb
And my hometown is Syracuse NY as I see your city is there. I miss the cuse but not the loudness of the city

Pull a logcat or use a tool like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog to do this for you. then after the phone reboots itself, run syslog and examine the last_kmsg and logcat to see what the obvious errors/issues are.
I too have noticed google maps crashing, camera unable to connect, random reboots, file system errors, sluggishness, etc more lately with my G3 too. Wonder if some aspects of the hardware are failing...

I solved the problem on my S3 with the camera. Freeze the system. Default and run another app, I'm on 4.4.4

You mean freeze the stock camera and use the Google camera instead?
Yea, when the camera is broken, neither app can connect until phone rebooted. Already tried many a time.

These symptoms could indicate a sticky power button. Try knocking it lightly against the corner of a table to jar whatever is making it stick loose.
It doesn't sound software related, especially since it rebooted while in recovery. If you hold the power button down long enough in recovery it will reboot, which makes me think you just have a sticky power button. It's happened to me before.

I think you might be right. Even when it is up and running, I have been noticing lately that I get the power menu popping up sometimes when I wasn't even touching the power button. So last night when it was in one of its constant boot loop fits I took it apart a bit (took the back off, took out the battery sim and sd, and unscrewed the shell) and blew some compressed air all around the power button. It had been rebooting for about an hour at that point and then as soon as I put it back together it came up on the first try. So far so good.

Battery Problem? PLEASE HELP!

Before I start I will say I am rooted and have tried multiple different ROMs to make sure that's no the problem. Starting last Saturday, my phone would randomly turn off. I never saw it turning off until today though. I just thought that somehow it had turned itself off in my pocket. However, today I caught it turning off. Right before it shut down, a logo of a gray battery with a USB cable going into it with an exclamation point in a triangle off to the side appeared. Then, when I tried to turn it on, the same symbol showed up and I couldn't even get to the LG logo. An hour later when I tried again, it booted up, no problem. At the time, I was running illusion rom with Rin kernel. After several other times of the phone turning off with the logo and not being able to turn it back on for a half of an hour, I decided to go back to my old backup of illusion to see if that was the problem. The random turn offs persisted. Worried, I flashed the latest cm12 nightly. Things were going great until just 20 minutes ago where the phone turned off accompanied by the symbol. Whaf does it mean? What should I do? Hopefully my phone's not broken cuz I don't think at&t of lg will accept a phone that's rooted and has seen multiple Roms.
update
Today the problem has persisted and the shut downs have occurred at exactly the same times as they did yesterday. I think I might have to use the "return to stock" stuff and send it to LG. I'm pretty sure this is an internal hardware issue since I have tried multiple different Roms without installing any apps and the problem persists. I am going to call LG now and see if they'll replace it. I've also tried a spare battery so that certainly isn't the problem. I'm confused. If anyone knows what to do, please share.
I would flash tool back to stock and start over. That really does fix a lot of weird problems. It has for me anyway.
Just tried reflashing stock. No success.... sending it in to LG next Tuesday since Monday is a Holiday and its still semi-functional so i'll use it during the weekend. Hopefully they wont charge me for it.
