[Q] unlocked my asus tf300t but...... - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I used the unlock app that the asus site gave me to open my tf300t but it did not open the bootloader and i cant sucessfully flash clockworkmod or any other rom.it goes into usb bootload interface but wont flash the mod.did i do something wrong or can i still root my tablet?

Hi there!
I just dug this up on the forums and I think it should help you. If your device does NOT say "this device is unlocked" in the top left of your bootscreen then it's not unlocked. So here's a guide on how to Unlock/Root your device with the Factory Install JB. Hope it helps!

[Q] New to the Tf300!

Hello! i just got my asus tf300 and I've been reading a lot and im a little confused about some things( a lot actually!) my asus came with ICS 4.0.3, I havent updated the firmware because i want the nvflash, i already have the bootloader unlocked and im trying to flash the nvflash following the "androidroot . mobi / t3_nvflash" guide, but im stuck at the part where you need to get it into fastboot, it starts in "starting fastboot usb download protocol" and in cmd it just stays waiting for the device, and advice would be appreciated! Better ask and not risk to brick my first tablet!
And any other advices would be awesome, im completely new to the tablet world

[Q] TF700t hard bricked...

hi everyone,
(first of all i'm sorry for the bad english but i'm not so practical...)
anyone knows if is possibile to recovery an hard bricked device?!
i explain better the situation:
i was on TWRP 2.5 touch with JB bootloader & cromi-x 4.6
in the try to install cyano10 i downloaded and installed CWM6 by rom Manager
obviously this soft bricked my device...
so, without read anything i do the worst thing possible....
a factory reset from the bootloader....
now the device only boot, locked on first screen (the one with ASUS on black background.... and in the top left margin only "the device is unlocked" script )
no adb neither fastboot avaible, only APX mode is recognized....
anyone know if is possibile to save the device from this situation?!

Unfortunately if you don't have nvflash files backed up there is nothing you can do other than send it back to Asus for repair. They will likely charge you for this service.

[Q] Soft-Bricked Transformer Prime (TF-201)

Hey guys,
I am asking here as an absolute last resort I recently unlocked and flashed CWM recovery onto my Transformer Prime TF201. Everything was going great :good: until I rebooted and no I'm stuck at the splash screen. I am, however able to get into FastBoot. Now at this point, I know I should flash a recovery of some sort but ADB is not recognizing my device. I went to the device manager to make sure the drivers are installed but its only showing as a Bootloader Device(see attached). I have tried hitting delete to install the drivers manually but now it wont let me.
Please forgive the extreme lack of knowledge here. I have rooted and flash many devices but this damn tablet is proving to be a real pain.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Please help me. I messed up bad

I have an ASUS memopad 8 and it was bricked. I don't know how to fix it. I'm good with Google but I couldn't find anything that could help me in this situation. I can't start it up, and I can't access recovery mode. I rooted it using Kingo and about an hour later it just died. Please help me.

When I list the fastboot devices I see this.
--------------------------------
fastboot devices
0123456789 fastboot
-------------------------------------
I also run fastboot oem unlock, it says it unlocked it but the device remains locked. The screen does not show anything when I turn it on or attempt to put it into recovery/fastboot mode. I have no idea if it's in the proper mode or not.

[Completed] asus K01A update loop

Hello I need help
Info: Asus Tablet Model: K01A

BOT Version: WW_MeMO_Pad_11.2.3.33-20150302
IFWI VERSION 64.25
Problem: Launch system update from OS but update will not complete. Android icon falls over "Error". This will continue until all power is exhausted.
What I did that may have caused this?
I attempted to root device several times. However, I was never able to disable the bootloader and never gained full root access using KING ROOT, Root.bat, etc. So, I gave up and followed the instructions to update the OS to try another method. Since, doing this, the tablet continues this behavior.
What functions are available?
I can get into Fastboot and execute fastboot commands. When I select Recovery mode the tablet attempts to apply the update, again.
What do I need?
Instructions on how to stop/delete the update when in fastboot mode. Or any other ideas. I have searched for this command and found nothing. I downloaded ASUS.Flash.Tool.v1.0.0.24-ATD-20160106, UL-K01A-TW-10.32.1.33.3-user.zip, minimal_adb_fastboot_v1.4.2_setup. Asus Flashtool recognizes tablet but have been unsuccessful flashing, Error fastboot reboot to recovery failure(FAILED( remote: unknown OEM command)"
Thank for any help.
Hi !
I suspect that the failure is related to the newer firmware you were trying to flash so try an older one
