[Q] New to the Tf300! - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello! i just got my asus tf300 and I've been reading a lot and im a little confused about some things( a lot actually!) my asus came with ICS 4.0.3, I havent updated the firmware because i want the nvflash, i already have the bootloader unlocked and im trying to flash the nvflash following the "androidroot . mobi / t3_nvflash" guide, but im stuck at the part where you need to get it into fastboot, it starts in "starting fastboot usb download protocol" and in cmd it just stays waiting for the device, and advice would be appreciated! Better ask and not risk to brick my first tablet!
And any other advices would be awesome, im completely new to the tablet world

[Q] unlocked my asus tf300t but......

I used the unlock app that the asus site gave me to open my tf300t but it did not open the bootloader and i cant sucessfully flash clockworkmod or any other rom.it goes into usb bootload interface but wont flash the mod.did i do something wrong or can i still root my tablet?
Hi there!
I just dug this up on the forums and I think it should help you. If your device does NOT say "this device is unlocked" in the top left of your bootscreen then it's not unlocked. So here's a guide on how to Unlock/Root your device with the Factory Install JB. Hope it helps!

[Q] TF700t hard bricked...

hi everyone,
(first of all i'm sorry for the bad english but i'm not so practical...)
anyone knows if is possibile to recovery an hard bricked device?!
i explain better the situation:
i was on TWRP 2.5 touch with JB bootloader & cromi-x 4.6
in the try to install cyano10 i downloaded and installed CWM6 by rom Manager
obviously this soft bricked my device...
so, without read anything i do the worst thing possible....
a factory reset from the bootloader....
now the device only boot, locked on first screen (the one with ASUS on black background.... and in the top left margin only "the device is unlocked" script )
no adb neither fastboot avaible, only APX mode is recognized....
anyone know if is possibile to save the device from this situation?!
thanks to all

Unfortunately if you don't have nvflash files backed up there is nothing you can do other than send it back to Asus for repair. They will likely charge you for this service.

[Q] Soft-Bricked Transformer Prime (TF-201)

Hey guys,
I am asking here as an absolute last resort I recently unlocked and flashed CWM recovery onto my Transformer Prime TF201. Everything was going great :good: until I rebooted and no I'm stuck at the splash screen. I am, however able to get into FastBoot. Now at this point, I know I should flash a recovery of some sort but ADB is not recognizing my device. I went to the device manager to make sure the drivers are installed but its only showing as a Bootloader Device(see attached). I have tried hitting delete to install the drivers manually but now it wont let me.
Please forgive the extreme lack of knowledge here. I have rooted and flash many devices but this damn tablet is proving to be a real pain.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

[Q] Can I recover from this???

HELP....
I made a HUGE mistake and may have totally wrecked my a510. I was running a JB ROM (AOKP) with an ICS unlocked bootloader. I thought I had a JB bootloader, so I tried to flash a JB recovery...not good. I'm stuck with either an update.zip bootloop or just the Acer logo. The tab was previously accessible via my PC, but now is showing only as an MTP device. I can't use any adb commands to try and recover from this.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm sorta resigned to the idea I've lost this tablet due to my not paying attention, but would like to see if there is still anything I can try to recover it.
Thanks,
Bob
