[Q] Trouble mounting system as r/w with Root Explorer - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I am having trouble mounting system r/w with Root Explorer. It has SuperUser permission granted, and actually says it is r/w when I select that button, however, whenever I try to rename or paste something in the /system folder, I get a toast message saying the system is not mounted r/w.
Has anyone had this problem?
I am rooted, running Jelly Beans (TW based) build 8 ROM and LeanKernel 1.7.
I wiped data and cache before installing the ROM. Restored user apps and data using TiBu.

Click to collapse
- Close the app
- Go to Task Manager
- Exit All Apps and click on clear memory
Now try Mounting R/W

Flashing - Error

When ever I try to copy update.zip to my root folder, I keep getting that there is no space available. I'm using super manager with root permissions and change it to r/w.
Copy it to the root of your sdcard "/sdcard/" not the root of the file system "/"
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
Now that I get to the orange cwm, now I get an error when changing the mount for sd card.

Where is the internal Rom?

I can never figure this out and its always different it seems. So I'm trying to copy my build prop from /system to my internal ROM sdcard so I can mount the infinity to windows, open it up and edit it, then copy it back to system.
So i'm using root explorer, copying the file, and I tried everything. I tried /sdcard, mnt/sdcard, data/media and everytime I mount the device and look in my downloads folder where I pasted it from root explorer, its not there!
argh
Copying should work normally, symlinks won't. I can't say anything for Root Explorer, try either Solid Explorer or Total Commander.
Personally I like to just use the term for this ("cp /system/build.prop /sdcard/" will do)

[Q] Xposed on 3.1.1

has anyone successfully installed xposed framework on OTA 3.1.1?
I've have no luck in installing as xposed-arm zip through TWRP and CWM recoveries.
getting an error that there is not enough space available. I'm assuming this is because the system partition is not mounting and or there is no write permissions.
tried to use FolderMount, and changing R/W permission on system partition but still no luck.
permissions change but it does not update/apply.
any other ideas?
