Flashing - Error - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

When ever I try to copy update.zip to my root folder, I keep getting that there is no space available. I'm using super manager with root permissions and change it to r/w.

Copy it to the root of your sdcard "/sdcard/" not the root of the file system "/"

Now that I get to the orange cwm, now I get an error when changing the mount for sd card.

[Q] Perplexed copying files to get market

I have an elocity A7 with 2.2 and V2.0121 firmware upgrade
I have successfully rooted with z4root
I have mounted with /system write access using mount/system (rw/ro)
I get the message that super user access has been granted
I have root explorer and can set toggle R/W button
I can copy files to the flash or usb flash
I can not copy files to /system folder
Problem solved. Got a different version of root explorer.

[Q] Change system files for the G-nex?

Hi. I'm tying to replace the Host file in Systems/etc, but keep getting the "you can not paste here because the file system is read-only" error.
Any ideas?
LTE Galaxy Nexus
Fully rooted
Using Root explorer
Rootfs is mounted as (r/w)

Where is the internal Rom?

I can never figure this out and its always different it seems. So I'm trying to copy my build prop from /system to my internal ROM sdcard so I can mount the infinity to windows, open it up and edit it, then copy it back to system.
So i'm using root explorer, copying the file, and I tried everything. I tried /sdcard, mnt/sdcard, data/media and everytime I mount the device and look in my downloads folder where I pasted it from root explorer, its not there!
argh
Copying should work normally, symlinks won't. I can't say anything for Root Explorer, try either Solid Explorer or Total Commander.
Personally I like to just use the term for this ("cp /system/build.prop /sdcard/" will do)

[Q] Trouble mounting system as r/w with Root Explorer

I am having trouble mounting system r/w with Root Explorer. It has SuperUser permission granted, and actually says it is r/w when I select that button, however, whenever I try to rename or paste something in the /system folder, I get a toast message saying the system is not mounted r/w.
Has anyone had this problem?
I am rooted, running Jelly Beans (TW based) build 8 ROM and LeanKernel 1.7.
I wiped data and cache before installing the ROM. Restored user apps and data using TiBu.

[Q] ADB Push and internal storage

Hi all,
I accidentally deleted internal storage while I was trying to flash paranoid android on my Nexus 5. I then managed to push the ROM.zip back into my phone's internal storage using ADB Push. I installed the ROM but after the ROM installed, the zip file is no longer in the internal storage. What happened to the zip package? Where did it go?
Thanks for your help in advance.
/data/media
Sorry
The media dir is blank. I used the command as ADB push ROM.zip /sdcard

It isn't blank. You're just using a file explorer without permissions to view it.
If you used CWM recovery when you adb pushed, its as already state by @Aerowinder... . In /data/media because CWM recovery still mounts /sdcard as /data/media instead of what android 4.2+ mounts it as which is /data/media/0

I used TWRP v2.6.3
I will look in TWRP Mount settings if I can configure the permissions.

What permissions?

You're right. There are no permissions to configure in TWRP file explorer.
Should I switch to CWM?
Just boot into android and use a proper file explorer with root access.
Or you can use adb and Linux command line to
mount /data
ls /data/media
To see if the file is there.
Also I know with Philz recovery when you formatted /sdcard, the 0 folder from /data/media/0 was gone leaving only /data/media (until a commit was made to recreate 0) so its possible TWRP does the same making /sdcard temporarily mount to /data/media
Anyway not sure where it is if its not there
No don't change to CWM
