[Q] Vodafone 858 battery drains so quickly, need help??

Hi everyone !
I have a vodafone 858 phone. Its battery drains so quickly. The fully charged phone can't use more than 10 hours. yes, I have done basic things to save battery. (Lowering screen brightness, disable GPS, wifi and blutooth when don't use them etc) also I don't make more voice calls and don't listen to music.
* sync is on. but I think it can't be the only reason for this.
anyone can help me ???
I would try juice defender, it will increase your battery by turning off the data while the screen is locked. But battery on android normally isn't that good.....
Please hit the thank you button if i helped!

[Tips] Deep Sleep

After searching i find this in the build.prop :
pm.sleep_mode=1 but after changing the number with 2 my battery recover breathe
If you have battery drain during night because your phone stay awake test it and don't forget to share your exp

1. switch off MOBILE data transfer
2. system setting -> wifi -> advanced settings -> keep wi-fi during sleep = never
3. unsinstall tweeter, FBI (FaceBook Ing)
4. if you have e-mail program - tell it not to check for e-mails automatically but only manually
5. Instal WakeLock detector to see the program that prevent your device of sleeping.
After installing stock ICS I have encountered a battery drain from time to time. Sometimes my phone consumed battery really slow (better than on GB ROM) resulting in 50 h of battery life with 3G/WiFi always on. But there were days where battery was consumed very quickly (no more than 18 h on idle with 3G/WiFi on) and the phone was slightly warm. Reboot usually helped, but after day or two the problem was coming back.
I installed Wakelock Detector app and noticed that there is *backup* process that does not allow the phone to enter deep sleep. I entered Settings -> Backup and reset and unchecked "Backup my data". I have been testing it since yesterday but the problem seems to be gone already. Anyone who is experiencing battery drain on ICS should try this solution.

[Q] Battery was great for only one day..

Soo! again with another battery post..
Okay i followed some rules someone helped me with the other day in regards to resetting the whole phone and updating it, which i did and the battery was fixed! now untill about 2pm to day my phone was lasting all day i mean since 8am it went from 100% to around 70% and said i had like atleast 1 day with stamina mode on..
Now its at 65% its telling me i have 4 hours remaining without stamina mode and now 11 hours with stamina mode..
Can someone explain why to me? i mean i don't think i have loads of things on that are heavy on battery life.
have you looked at the battery stats to see whats eating the battery?

Mainly the screen, i noticed tho soon as i had to use my phone to be a satnav on google maps it enabled high active location settings, but after i finished i turn the location settings back to battery saver mode so i cant see why it hasn't changed the battery daily span, i mean the screen is the biggest consumer at 29% then snapchat at 15% then some more social media but there below 14%
gps and using it as a sat nav will use the battery quite a bit as the screen is always on, try turning the brightness down
I just, cleared the date and cache on my stamina mode and reset the phone and it seems to have fixed it, i will apparently get 4 days and 11 hours out of my stamina mode now on 96% battery. i have adaptive brightness on tho btw, so i'll just turn it off and lower my screen too

There is a bug in the Stamina Mode statistics. They will only work for the first day and then start showing the wrong time remaining, but don't worry about it. Although the time remaining is wrong, Stamina mode should still be working. You can test this by allowing the phone to sleep for 30min when connected to wifi and then wake the phone to see if wifi is still enabled. If the wifi icon is not showing, but then pops up shortly after waking the phone, then Stamina Mode is working.

Terrible idle battery life after update.

Hi!
After I've updated my phone to 18.5.C.0.25 the battery life went very bad. 2 minutes writing SMS - 1% of battery gone. During night 15-20%, when the phone is doing nothing! Clean install through PC Companion, reseting to the factory settings, charging to 90, 80, 70% and then up to 100% didn't work. How to fix it? Anyone else has this problem? Stamina is on, the signal is good. What can be the problem?
Which variant are you using?
Following methods worked for me to reduce battery usage:
# clean install by flasing stock ftf using flashtool (downloaded by xperifirm)
# changing network mode from auto to gsm only (only when you don't need to use 3g/4g data)
# rooting phone, removing unnecessary apps(also some system apps and bloatwares) and managing autostart apps by allowing least number of apps to be started when system boots up
# stamina mode on > extended standby and extended usage is on (located inside the stamina option)
# turn off location service if not necessary, turn off wifi during sleep(keep wifi on only when charging), disable scanning always available for wifi, wifi optimization on
# turn off auto sync if not necessary
# remove widgets which drains battery faster by refreshing repeatedly (for example i've removed weather widget from screens)
# use auto brightness on and chose battery saving mode if applicable (lol no need to mention i guess! )
(btw, i'm using my phone with auto-rotate and wifi on all the time, now my phone provides me 2days of backup with around +/-6hrs screen on time on an average)
D2203. I have preffered 3G set, because my SIM doesn't support LTE
"# rooting phone, removing unnecessary apps(also some system apps and bloatwares) and managing autostart apps by allowing least number of apps to be started when system boots up"
I will try that
"# stamina mode on > extended standby and extended usage is on (located inside the stamina option)"
In use from the very beginning
"# turn off location service if not necessary, turn off wifi during sleep(keep wifi on only when charging), disable scanning always available for wifi, wifi optimization on
# turn off auto sync if not necessary
# remove widgets which drains battery faster by refreshing repeatedly (for example i've removed weather widget from screens)"
Done.
"# use auto brightness on and chose battery saving mode if applicable (lol no need to mention i guess! )"
I don't know why, but the brightness is very often set near maximum. Bug? The light sensor is ok (checked in CPU-Z)
The next question is, why the charging from 99 to 100% is taking so long? The next irritating fact is that the battery can stay on 99% for several hours and suddenly it's down to 92% in one minute. Is there any option to calibrate the battery gauge?

Well.. I haven't faced screen brightness issue like this yet, but an incompatible custom kernel can cause that, are you using any?
Charging from 99 to 100% can take upto 20mins i guess, because the last 10% is called trickle charging (or something like that) which means, the system will charge the battery in a periodic manner to ensure battery health.
Sudden drop of battery level can be caused by several different reasons, if the physical status of your battery is ok, try to find out the culprit which is draining your battery that way (you can figure it out by going power management > battery usage, here it'll show the battery consumption rate of various apps. right now i'm using CM11, last night i found that my battery was drained around 17% while staying in idle mode for around 6hrs! then i've found that the culprit was the nfc app which caused the huge battery drainage! Then i just removed nfc app (lol! ) because nfc was not working in CM11 either!)
Finally, many says that you can calibrate your your battery by discharging your battery to 1% and then re-charge it again to 100% in continuous manner and repeat this process couple of times to calibrate battery... some also say to hard turn off your phone after 100% charging by pressing volume up + power key for few seconds and then switch it on again, in that case if you find your phone battery is below 100% then charge it again to 100% continuously... But the thing I believe, if you find your phone in this situation that it shows drastically reduced battery level after phone restart, it's not any app, it's the damaged battery which is causing poor battery performance.

HTC One E9+ shutdown automatically.

Dears,
i have HTC one E9+ and purchased 6-7 before from online and did not notice that device does not have warranty.
Now its started shutting down and when restart then battery goes to 1% or some time decreased 30-40% of the battery and its happen only when i start using the devise like youtube, skype or whatsapp etc but while on idle status dont face any issue.
I even did the factory reset but no improvement and then i thought could be a battery issue and then contacted HTC and they said perform below tasks and if battery above than 75% then not a battery issue.
Now i dont know what should i do to resolve this issue.
can anyone put his/her experience to fix this issue.
1 - charge the device until the LED turns green <br/>2 - turn on air plan mode
3- Go to settings > display > increase the screen time out to one hour and increase the brightness to 100%
4-then restart the device
5- Unplug it and leave it for one hour
if the battery level below 75% that is mean the battery need to be changed
