i have a Haipai X720D, and after few errors i've make, i decided to reinstall it
i have download an flash it with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=36025676&postcount=4
but my phone won't boot anymore, and i cannot connect it to the computeur
i think i've heard a method like pushing the volume+ button while power it on but i can't find it...
any help would be appreciate
up
- If you hold down HOME button + POWER button + volume UP button you will get into Recovery Mode.
- If you hold down HOME button + POWER button + volume DOWN button you will get into Download Mode.
If you want to flash a customROM go into Recovery mode, there you can find something like MOUNT USB or MOUNT SD. If you do that you will be able to connect to your computer.
When you're connected you can kopie your custom ROM .ZIP file into your Internal SD card after downloading it. If you did that you go back to Recovery Mode. There you can choose instal ZIP from SD card. Instal your previous downloaded .ZIP file from your customROM and there ya go.
Thanks for the help i will try tonight.
but home button is sensitive, it's not a physical button, i hope it will work !

Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000 device,
And I cant seem to get to the recovery\download screen,
tried any manual, followed every video nothing helps...
tried to put out the sim card and microSD card, tried warming up the device (it was suggested somewhere :\ ) also tried to connect a usb cable while doing it and putting the device in usb debug mode and mounting, and when i press VOL UP\DOWN + HOME + POWER
nothing happens... it just keeps restarting untill i let go the power button and then the system starts.
can anyone help me with this? :\
anyone??
please help me with it..
I'm guessing no one knows a solution to this ha?
Alright thanks anyway....
Here is how I did it. DO the usual to boot into download With the battery out. Once you are pressing the correct buttons Inser the Battery. It work for me and for someone else.
Thank for the advice but it did not work for me I tried to put out the battery sim card and microSD then press the VOL UP\DOWN+HOME+POWER and while doing that put the battery in and still the same...also tried the same thing with USB connected, keeps restarting untill i let go the power button.. :\
its driving me crazy......
On this forum search for "3-button combo fix for any firmware version", but it only helped for download mode for me. I enter recovery mode with "adb reboot recovery"
Hi all,
I was trying to install a new Rom Dronix 0.4. Upon entering the bootloader I accidentaly somehow no idea how, deleted clockwork mod recovery that was on there and now just can't get into bootloader mode or even get my phone to start up past the 1st screen.I've tried volume up +green button and power button to try to get in,volume down + end call red button and power button no go.The only thing it goes into is if I hold the volume down button + call green button and power which takes me to the firmware update but just flashes and says unpack failed. The other thing is that if press the red and green buttons for calls and the power button it brings the screen to a purplish colour but does nothing as well.I've tried to get the computer to recognize the phone but it won't even after installing the usb drivers with windows xp and windows 7.Atm there is no ROM on the phone after deleting it,cache and dalvik cache. It's just empty with not even a bootloader to try and boot into, only hardware is available now.
I'm at a loss as to what and any help if trying to get it back and running would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

After rooting my device I have install 'rom manager', an application on android market that lets you backup your rom, when I tried to backup it the phone shotdown.
Now my device won't start, I pulled out the battery and the sim card, even the SD card and tryed to start it again, no result, when I say no result I mean that the phone doesn't show the moto logo, nothing, just the standard soft buttons light up and the they turn off, I tried to press the POWER button while putting the battery on and the same thing, only this time it vibrates, I have tried the volum up and down, still nothing, just the vibrate and the lights of the buttons then nothing.
When I connect it to my computer, after pressing the power button, my windows 7 searches for a driver, the driver is called "Flash MSM7227" and didn't find it.

Have you tried to load the bootloader?
Just press VOLUME +, VOLUME - and PWR at the same time and wait. (Until 'Enter recovery mode' message appears).
If don't appears, i think you bricked your phone, because you tried to do something very wrong. If this method don't work, send your phone to MOTOROLA and wait. There's the only thing to do.
So have you already revived the phone?
If not, do the following:
Press and hold CAMERA and VOL- buttons simultaneously
Connect USB cable
Phone will be detected as Motorola Flash Interface. And you will get the ability to flash it. It was tested by me.

Hi guys,
I have a problem to start in recovery mode, which means I can't flash roms and even re-root my tablets.
The major changes I did should be:
1. I un-root to firmware(not likely i guess)
2. I delete all the files in my tablet by connecting to a computer and select all items and press delete( perhaps I accidentally delete something that is important)
Now once I press power on/off with Vol down I can still access to 3 icons
I press Vol up to RCK then I saw Android died with the "!"
do anyone of you know how can I fix it?

Copy the latest Firmware on your SD card. Re name it to "EP201_768_SDUPDATE.zip"
Go into recovery, and it should reflash and reset.
however, the issue that i stated is primarily about failed to access recovery mode instead of solely failed to flash roms
TF300T is killing me
i think i am in a sinking boat, i cant get my lovely tf300t to give me the options anymore...if i power on the unit it goes dtraight into CWM 6.0.2.3 and i get all of the messages at bottom of screen (E:\Can't mount /cache/recovery/command and so forth) my guess after reading some i shouldnt have used CWM and should have used TWRP. it wont wipe data at all wont do any of the options cant even load anything from sd card. how can i get back to factory so that i an start again, please send help
Thanks
Mike

Hello.
1st you should search Google and this Forum for recovering your device, setting ClockWorkMod Recovery (or other Recovery); and learn how to either flash the recovery and rom.
Since there are tons of threads around, and you seem not to have done any research i'm writing a "brief tutorial" on how to do it. If you feel lost you have some references bellow.
Just do some search, you will get there, as i included the most of the tutorial info bellow . :good:
If you need further help: Make sure you've done some research, and only then ask for help.
Note: I'll be assuming that you will find some files missing around the XDA Threads. In this case send me a Private Message (or ask here) for a specific file.
If i have it i can send you a temporary link.
Before Starting you aknowledge that you are responsible for the action done to your device.
Either Ways...
1) Enter Download Mode.
- Remove USB Cable;
- Remove the Battery and palce it back;
- Press: Volume Down + Menu Key + Power Button (Do not release the buttons until you see the "Download Mode Logo")
2) Download Your ROM
IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT CONFUSE THE ROM NAMES!
For Example there are 2 Samsung Models wich have a very similar model name (i9003 and i9300).
Make sure you have selected i9003 (wich stands for Samsung Galaxy i9003 SL).
3) Download and Run "Odin" (or Heimdall) - Used to Flash your Rom Files.
4) Run Odin; place the ROM files under the correct place and Start.
TIP #1: Always make sure you follow the ROM Developer Instructions.
TIP #2: While using Odin Never (EVER) check the EFS Clear; or Nand checkBoxes.
5) After Flashing your ROM; put your device under "Download Mode" - Same procedure mentioned above;
6) Reset ODIN and Load your CF-ROOT file under PDA section. (Must be a CF-ROOT for Your ROM)
7) Load your Device under Recovery;
Once again; without your USB cable connected to the device:
- Press and Hold: Volume UP + Menu Button + Power (Release the buttons when the Boot Logo is displayed)
Voilá! You are now under Recovery Mode.
Note that CF-ROOT:
- Roots Your Device
- Include ClockWorkMod Recovery
Some Extra Tips : These are very important! (In case you lose your IMEI - While Flashing Roms)
- Go Learn on how to Backup your EFS
- Learn what is the EFS
Please Press Thanks Button if this helped you. This will keep me motivated to waste some time writing tutorials like this)

Ok. Sorry about that. If you dont specify what you know and what you've done we (users) don't have a clue about what you know. x)
Have you tried putting into recovery without the USB Cable?
If you did follow to the next step.
There is a rumour saying that there is a button on the back of the phone (a tiny hole between camera and speaker). - I never tested (never needed to)
Remove the back cover to access it.
That button combined with: Vol. Down + Menu + Power -
in this case: Pressing that Tiny button with a clip + Vol. Down + Menu + Power
Release when the device enters Download Mode.
Let me know how it went
Another way would be more difficult (just seen it today on youtube): (I wouldnt try this thing on my device though...)
Like connecting 3 resistors (resistences? - dont know how its called in English) toghether and touching the two first pins of the power conector (on the phone).
"The 2 first pins": counting from the side where you plug the speaker.
Ok. Sorry about that. If you dont specify what you know and what you've done we (users) don't have a clue about what you know. x)

Yeah... Connect 2 point . is the way of test point. . thanks
No problem. Glad i could help.
There's also a thread on the General section for JTAG it may also be good help.

Infact the only problem is i havent the jtag
If i may suggest...
If you have some minimal knowledge on cable connections/electronics then:
Get a usb cable you can "destroy" and do the connection.
Or google for: android usb cable schematic.
Cut your usb cable in half (dont cut too close to the plug so you can re-assemble the cable), do the connection to load it under Download Mode, re-assemble the cable (properly - so you dont damage your device); flash a safe rom (like Full DDLF2).
Thats how i would do.
Just proceed with caution and patience.
Note that this is a risky thing to do and that im not responsible for any damage that could result from that procedure.
If you dont feel confortable with the procedure ask some friend or familiar that can help you out; cuz i dont want your phone to burn.
X)
Even though i never tested, it seems pretty simple to me.

Thanks for suggestion!
Maybe..
I think you are pressing the button combination for too long. I once had a similar problem.
Leave the buttons as soon as you see the Samsung logo. make sure if you're pressing all three correctly.
PS: that secret back button doesn't work for me.

If it still doesnt work and you still can load android os:
You can send commands to device through adb.
