Best rom!! Smooth and stable!
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2

Will flash this tomorrow on my corp phone. Better work! Great work guys, long time fan from the S3 roms!
Edit:
Today is yesterdays tomorrow, so I have flashed my phone. Was sceptical to the Nova Launcher, but turns out that I did liked it very much. Misses some features from the previous (RC9) ROM, such as the ability to center the clock on the notification bar.
It also lags a bit when scrolling in some apps, but not all.
As always, I'm very happy!

I'll try to do that if I'll use it long enough . Still, it's probably the same as other CM10 builds, I don't see why this would be different. Anyway, I installed NEAK kernel on it.

For those on Stock ROM -
Flash Notecore / Hydracore kernel first before flashing the ROM.

Care to explain why and what will happen if I do not flash either of these kernels first? And what if I already flash this rom without flashing a kernel first?
I came from stock sammy ROM, rooted and flashed this ROM. Everything that I have tested is working.

Re: [ROM] [AOSP][LINARO] LIQUIDSMOOTH JellyBean [4.2.1] Beta 3 [n7100] » Jan 19
There is a Samsung update that changes instructions for one of the chips. If you run 10.1 rom without running a kernel that negates the update and you have the update you'll have graphic issues. If you have been running 10.1 for awhile you will not have a problem.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium

Ok... So its no problem to flash one of these kernels afterwards also?
Only been running this ROM for half a day now, and have not noticed any graphical issues.

I can't find a download file dated 19th January, I have found older zip files but can't find the latest, can anyone help please, Regards.

We've pulled all beta3 downloads for the moment. Somehow Nova Prime ended up mixed into the build, rather than Nova Free. Obviously this is completely unacceptable so please bear with us while we refresh our builds and get Beta 3.1 out to you as soon as possible. We'll also be incorporating the latest device tree fixes as some very new and interesting ones have entered the scene today.
Team Liquid would also like to extend our sincere apologies to the TeslaCoil Software and ask all of you to support their work.

Ill leave that to the full time kernel devs this is just supposed to be simple, fast, clean.

Awesome. I've been running build 1 for a couple of weeks now (and before that AOKP was my daily driver on the GT10.1 since build 28!). Great ROM, I just want to make sure I'm following the correct thread!

Technically they are equally updated. They were both synced since the last sicnificant merge.... the difference is the picks and what we are working on. ... I know that doesn't answer your question but you need to pay attention to what extras we say are in the build and choose which you prefer.... its the benefit and curse of having more than one of us working on this device. . BTW I should have something new tonight or tomorrow lol.

This is pretty great. Coming from CM nightlies. I'll be running this for a while. Thanks very much for the great development.

I'd like to know this as well.
As of right now dpi. i believe xoomdev is working on making it an option though...
is per app dpi going to be implemented on aokp? would love the feature on aokp builds
Anyone seeing strange flicker on the stock browser? Seems to be a problem only with that app.

If I flash the nightlies I do not need to worry about reflashing the gapps do I ? I am asking since I dont see an updated gapps anywhere.
I just use the 7/26 gapps.

FAQ topics (AKA Total noob / lazy people section)
- LCD does not dim when near ear during call: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37690353&postcount=77
- I can't get google now to talk: set input lang and TTS lang to US-English
- What is the difference between this and BnD's ROM?: Isnt it a bit rude to compare in a thread?! Anyways, I build AOKP from source, and optimize android for our phone, while BnD ports the output zip from other phones to ours. In usability the ROM will most likely be the same. Two ways to get the goodies, your choice.
- WIFI does not work!: Maybe you forgot to flash your boot.img, if you forget wifi stops working, because new, updated wifi modules are compiled every time. Another advantage of Source built roms!

MR1 is Google's code for android 4.2, you're getting confused between AOKP Build 2 and that.

This one is built from source specifically for the Desire S, BnD's ROM is a port. This should be more functional

A few bugs - headphones don't work. Use this app as a workaround - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.woodslink.android.wiredheadphoneroutingfix&hl=en (Set Media audio to headset)
RAM Bar shows wrong numbers. Custom bootanimation doesn't work. All are AOKP bugs, since they affect the DHD ROM too.
BTW, this ROM is VERY fast

And a few more
1. Toggles per row always resets to 3 even though 4 items are shown on the screen

The very first boot-up can take a while.
3RD PARTY KERNELS
You will need JWR66V compatible kernels to go along with this Rom. JSS kernels well cause jitter.
The stock CM kernel is pretty stable for general use. For any advanced dedicated kernel modifications, you may try latest Kernel releases, such as Googy-Max for i9300.

Well, stay on CM10.1, not like someone's going to care about it.
This ROM is actually very nice, quick and smooth. Battery is good and doesn't take too much RAM.
And btw, CM10.1 isnt "the best rom", the best rom because there isnt any best ROM. Some users want smoothness, some users want good battery life, some users want to have a custom made UI.

I tryed this morning... works great.
Can we use Slim GAPPS with this ROM? I know they have a particular thing...they turn dark if you activate the "dark mode" of the ROM. By "dark mode" I understand that switch under Settings, present in many ROMs like Odyssey, Carbon, Illusions, Liquid and so on...
Edit: Nevermind. Tested it with Slim GAPPS and works. What's strange is that I can't get camera working, it's saying it could not connect to camera (both on stock and Focal). Anyone else?
