Code:
[LIST=1]
[*]The whole AOKP Team, for AOKP, duh
[*]The Andromadus team for the kernel, device tree and more saga optimizations
[*]The Linaro Organisation for optimizing the toolchain
[*]The CyanogenMod Team
[*]PipelinerArd - I peeked in his manifest to see how he brought this stuff to the very similar DHD.
[*]The whole saga community, for motivating me to do this.
[/LIST]
Newest changelogs are available at the AOKP Website, detailed information can be found at AOKP's Github, djpbx' AOKP Manifest for saga and Andromadus (kernel and device tree)
Changelog per build
Code:
[B]Build 06 // Feb25:[/B]
- First build from my own pc instead of XDA buildbot :P
- Consider this to be official build 4 from AOKP: http://aokp.co/blog/
- Updated kernel, ROMControl and more.
- Unfortunately no BT fix yet due to a lack of time
[B]Build 05 // Feb17:[/B]
- Update to Android 4.2.2
[B]Build 04 // Feb9:[/B]
- Headset bug merged in AOKP sources. (FYI)
- Thanks to [URL="https://github.com/AOKP/frameworks_base/commit/5d3facd47c371a7b93dbed59aa812bb401e5eaa6"]this[/URL] commit signal strenght is displayed correctly now
- No force closes anymore in the settings -> storage menu
- Updated ROM Control / tweaks
- Updated kernel
[B]Build 03 // Feb2:[/B]
- Fixed headset bug! Enjoy!
[B]Build 02 // Feb1:[/B]
- Synced and built from fresh AOKP sources
* New tweaks!
* Performance Control
- Built with updated Andromadus kernel
- Unfortunately still with the headset bug
[B]Build 01:[/B]
- Initial release
FAQ topics (AKA Total noob / lazy people section)
- LCD does not dim when near ear during call: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37690353&postcount=77
- I can't get google now to talk: set input lang and TTS lang to US-English
- What is the difference between this and BnD's ROM?: Isnt it a bit rude to compare in a thread?! Anyways, I build AOKP from source, and optimize android for our phone, while BnD ports the output zip from other phones to ours. In usability the ROM will most likely be the same. Two ways to get the goodies, your choice.
- WIFI does not work!: Maybe you forgot to flash your boot.img, if you forget wifi stops working, because new, updated wifi modules are compiled every time. Another advantage of Source built roms!
^If your Question kinda looks like this ^,
please keep this thread development / feature releated and ask your questions in the appropriate HELP THREAD.
I'm around there too to answer questions.

So this is based on MR1? Even though there's MR2 out?

whats the difference between this rom and blindndumbs AOKP rom?

MR1 is Google's code for android 4.2, you're getting confused between AOKP Build 2 and that.

This one is built from source specifically for the Desire S, BnD's ROM is a port. This should be more functional

that sounds awesome!

A few bugs - headphones don't work. Use this app as a workaround - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.woodslink.android.wiredheadphoneroutingfix&hl=en (Set Media audio to headset)
RAM Bar shows wrong numbers. Custom bootanimation doesn't work. All are AOKP bugs, since they affect the DHD ROM too.
BTW, this ROM is VERY fast

Re: [ROM][24-JAN-2013][Android 4.2.1] AOKP Unofficial SAGA Builds (1)[Andromadus Kern
And a few more
1. Toggles per row always resets to 3 even though 4 items are shown on the screen
2. As expected, signal text is borked too. Shows max value of integer

Thanks to ktoonsez for the cpu and gpu tables. That makes life easier as a good starting point.
You'll notice we don't have as many governors, schedulers and bells and whistles
Ill leave that to the full time kernel devs this is just supposed to be simple, fast, clean.
you can still use KTweaker to modify cpu, gnu and governor. Until performance control is fixed and updated.

Awesome. I've been running build 1 for a couple of weeks now (and before that AOKP was my daily driver on the GT10.1 since build 28!). Great ROM, I just want to make sure I'm following the correct thread!

Technically they are equally updated. They were both synced since the last sicnificant merge.... the difference is the picks and what we are working on. ... I know that doesn't answer your question but you need to pay attention to what extras we say are in the build and choose which you prefer.... its the benefit and curse of having more than one of us working on this device. . BTW I should have something new tonight or tomorrow lol.

As of right now dpi. i believe xoomdev is working on making it an option though...

Thanks for your contribution! Would you recommend installing CastagniaIT kernel on this ROM?
mmm.. this sounds promising.. just a couple of questions:
- i see on the slim site that this rom has voltage controls in settings.. does this work or we need a custom kernel (like castagna's)?
- pulsing notification (bln) working or, like above, we need a custom kernel?
- i see a lot of gapps in the link.. if i want to flash almost everything inverted (including google now, contacts, gmail and so on), do i need only the "The_real_dark_SLIM_3.0_aio_addons" package or should i flash inverted gapps, inverted google now and then addons package?
- after factory reset, can i restore my backup (i come from ivendor cm10 alpha 5)?
Thanks for your help!
Keep up the good work!

Yes BLN and Voltage Controls need a Custom Kernel. These functions are currently useless.
You only need to flash the aio package
It could be that you will get some problems when you restore your backup. but normally this should work. I restored some apps with titatnium.

We would like to thank CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods and their code that was incorporated into this project. We also extend our gratitude to AOKP and Xylon for parts of their code that we have incorporated.
A huge shoutout to codeworx and kejar31 for their work on the t0 platform!
Special thanks to our friends Imoseyon and Franco for their kernels as well!
While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash!

Best rom!! Smooth and stable!
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
Will flash this tomorrow on my corp phone. Better work! Great work guys, long time fan from the S3 roms!
Edit:
Today is yesterdays tomorrow, so I have flashed my phone. Was sceptical to the Nova Launcher, but turns out that I did liked it very much. Misses some features from the previous (RC9) ROM, such as the ability to center the clock on the notification bar.
It also lags a bit when scrolling in some apps, but not all.
As always, I'm very happy!

I'll try to do that if I'll use it long enough . Still, it's probably the same as other CM10 builds, I don't see why this would be different. Anyway, I installed NEAK kernel on it.

For those on Stock ROM -
Flash Notecore / Hydracore kernel first before flashing the ROM.

Care to explain why and what will happen if I do not flash either of these kernels first? And what if I already flash this rom without flashing a kernel first?
I came from stock sammy ROM, rooted and flashed this ROM. Everything that I have tested is working.
Re: [ROM] [AOSP][LINARO] LIQUIDSMOOTH JellyBean [4.2.1] Beta 3 [n7100] » Jan 19
There is a Samsung update that changes instructions for one of the chips. If you run 10.1 rom without running a kernel that negates the update and you have the update you'll have graphic issues. If you have been running 10.1 for awhile you will not have a problem.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Ok... So its no problem to flash one of these kernels afterwards also?
Only been running this ROM for half a day now, and have not noticed any graphical issues.

I can't find a download file dated 19th January, I have found older zip files but can't find the latest, can anyone help please, Regards.
We've pulled all beta3 downloads for the moment. Somehow Nova Prime ended up mixed into the build, rather than Nova Free. Obviously this is completely unacceptable so please bear with us while we refresh our builds and get Beta 3.1 out to you as soon as possible. We'll also be incorporating the latest device tree fixes as some very new and interesting ones have entered the scene today.
Team Liquid would also like to extend our sincere apologies to the TeslaCoil Software and ask all of you to support their work.

GApps Mirror
4. FACTORY RESET
If you are already on PA 4.3 you can skip this step.
But definitely recommended.
5. INSTALL
Install the ROM, then GApps, wipe caches, reboot.
The very first boot-up can take a while.
3RD PARTY KERNELS
You will need JWR66V compatible kernels to go along with this Rom. JSS kernels well cause jitter.
The stock CM kernel is pretty stable for general use. For any advanced dedicated kernel modifications, you may try latest Kernel releases, such as Googy-Max for i9300.

Well, stay on CM10.1, not like someone's going to care about it.
This ROM is actually very nice, quick and smooth. Battery is good and doesn't take too much RAM.
And btw, CM10.1 isnt "the best rom", the best rom because there isnt any best ROM. Some users want smoothness, some users want good battery life, some users want to have a custom made UI.

Inverted gapps
Another inverted gapps.
How to Install
1. Download ROM.
2. Download gapps
3. Place Rom and gapps onto phone.
4. Boot into recovery (recommended 4EXT)
5. Wipe data/factory reset if coming from a different ROM or having issues after installing mods.
6. Flash the ROM and gapps. (If it says gapps included by the link you won't have to flash gapps.)
7. Clear cache and dalvik cache.
8. Reboot and let it settle for 5 minutes and enjoy.
How to update from previous versions
If you already have installed older PAC, you don't need to wipe your data. In recovery choose "format system" and then just install new version of my rom.
Caution: if you installed over it custom kernel, you had to reinstall it again.

Great to see someone working on bringing new roms to the Sensation.
Is this based on Albinoman's 13/4 build?
Also, if you're so inclined, could you please compile Slimbean for the Sensation?
Thanks.

Hi!
First of, thank you for bringing us another awesome rom to use with our device, your work is greatly appreciated.
Now, a question. All pacman roms I've seen all have paranoid features, something I don't use at all, so I was wonder if it's possible to build an aosp + cm10.1 + aokp without paranoid? Just the kickass features from both worlds?
This is not a request, don't take it that way unless you're feeling like building such, I'd do it myself if I had the know how

What features do you want from AOSP?
You know, I can make AOKP for Sensation. That's not a big deal
I just wanted to fix these bugs in PAC and only then do something else.
Right now I am quite busy, but I will try my best
One more thing - I used to make kernels, not roms, PA and PAC are first made by me
RomWiz can tell. In the past he had same phone as I had which was LG P970.
