Hey guys. So Ive looked a bit everywhere in XDA so I wanted to ask how to add that Brightness Slider in the Notification Panel. Like the one with the Galaxy S3. Thanks..
I use power toggle from play store. You can add to notification slide.
Hope this helps.

That's an aokp feature. You may flash a ROM which has both cm and aokp features like black bean 6, helly bean 4.1.2 etc.

In this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poSFV9_abcw&feature=youtube_gdata_player at 1:35 I just noticed that on the galaxy nexus when you pull down the notification bar there is a wonderful fade effect that unfortunately is not present on my 4.1.1 nexus s... does anyone of you have it or is it something Google voluntarily removed from our jelly bean ota? Is there any way to enable it?

Heh. That's pretty cool. Forgot about the 2 finger pull down trick.
Yes, the double finger pull down is very cool bit I wonder why Google excluded the fade animation, it doesn't look too heavy

I updated my htc one x to jelly bean, one thing I wanted to clarify was shouldn't the first notification be expanded automatically. Cuz my friends with galaxy nexus having stock jb, have the first notification expanded when they pull down the notification bar.
Is their any other way to expand notification apart from pinching it? Cuz pinching it all the time is irritating.
Thanks in advance

i do think you are confused on what forum you should be posting in
So I was thinking Ill just go back to using cyanogenmod 4.1. My problem is, though, I adore that nifty "hold home key down on lock screen for 3 seconds" for the torch on MIUI. My question to you is, can I have the lightness of cyanogenmod stock jb with the awesomeness of the torch? If so, where can I get it? Thanks in advance.
First off its miui
And why not just add a status bar toggle for torch? You can pull down the status bar while on the lock screen and enable the torch
I'm also a fan of the feature but I haven't seen it in another aosp ROM

I thought it would be great to be able to do the torch thing like it does. It's neat. And I wouldn't know how to make a toggle for torch anyway.

You'd just enable it in notification bar. Simple

Would someone be able to tell me what halo is on AOKP ROM. I'm struggling to figure out what halo does

Click to collapse
It is basically a persistent floating circle which you can use to check notifications and quickly/temporarily switch into other apps (a lot like Facebook's Messenger, if you use it). And it is a feature developed by the Paranoid Android team. AOKP is just an implementer. Best to see than read - watch this video on YouTube:

Hey everyone
So I used to have a Galaxy s3 and used Cyanogenmod and you could change which settings appeared in the quick settings panel in the notification bar, but I can't find that option anywhere on my Nexus 5, does anyone know if this is possible? Or is it just a feature of CM that isn't on the Nexus 5?
Thanks!
Sadly this is not a feature that stock android supports gonna have to wait till the CM team come out with CM11 that or some Dev makes a ROM which includes it, personally this was one of my favourite features of CM
Oh okay, I thought might be the case. Thank you
