Sound quality after the last update - Asus Transformer TF700

Last night, I updated my device in a normal way. Today, I wanted to listen some music but when the sound goes high, I get a sough from the speaker. Anybody else having this problem? What could the reason be for that?

[Q] Click sound on TF

The sound on my TF is fine when watching videos but every so often I hear a popping sound from the speakers when any audio feedback is used like audible selection or keyboard presses....any fix for this?
I have noticed this on mine over the past few days when playing a notification sound. And at other random times.

It's weird.....it seems to only happen when the speakers are "powering up"....if music is playing or the speakers are really active it doesn't happen at all.

tf101 youtube freeze

I flashed cm9 a couple of months ago and now my YouTube app is messed up... I go to watch a video & then my tf101 freezes and makes a loud buzzing noise. Has anyone else had this problem?

Small sound from speaker

Everytime I'm in a room with a lot of silence I hear a small sound from speaker, it's like if it is actived and after few seconds it shouts down. It seems that when I output a sound from tablet like internet browser click sound or keyboard sound speaker stay activated for some seconds and than shoutdown.
Is it normal?

Nope - not normal.... Suspect hardware issue - has it always done this?

I don't know because I've the tablet since 3days.
EDIT: I tried to put my ear on speaker after I click a browser link or playing other sound in tablet and I hear this activation/reactivation little buzz always. So I tried to do the same thing with my Samsung gs3 and the same thing happens. But I don't know why I don't hear it in a silence room and I hear my tablet instead. Maybe because gs3 has a plastic body and not an aluminium one like the infinity.

[Q] TF700 Microphone Quality

I bought the TF700 about a month ago, and have noticed that the recording volume of the microphone is low. It does work, but it makes Skype, Google Hangouts, Google Talk all difficult to use as you have to talk loudly in to the mic for the other person to hear you, if I look at the screen and talk normally, the person on the other end cannot hear what i am saying.
Also when recording video, it does pick up sound, but even with the volume turned up full you cannot hear the audio on the recording very well.
Is this typical of all TF700s or should I be looking at changing it?
My children have the Acer A100 and that has a similar issue but its well document with the explanation being a poor quality microphone. I wondered if it was the same with the TF700 but I have not been able to find any similar complaints online.
Any feed back from TF700 owners would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mark
Might be another hardware deficiency slipped under the fence by Asus.
I'll check mine and report back.
i do skype and hangout on my Infinity and haven't had any such issues. interestingly, i DO have such issues on my iPad2.
maybe there's a mic level setting that's somehow gotten messed up? are you sure your case isn't blocking it perhaps? maybe it's just a defect?
doody.

There is no case on it, so cant be that. I phonex Asus tonight and they had me do a data wipe, but it made no difference, the kids much cheaper A100 works far better than my TF 700 in any app tbat uses the mic, and tge mic in the A100 has been highlighted as poor quality.
Anyway got an Rma number from Asus so guess ill be tabletless for a while.
Thanks for the feedback

Bummer...
I did check my mic...I found it to work well.
Hello,
I have exactly the same issues. Mic volume level is very low and it's almost impossible to use skype etc. Did anyone by a chance found a solution? Maybe some app to adjust/boost mic sound level?
Thank you!

Hello,
I'm also looking for an app to control my microphone. Last summer, I bought my tf700t and, suddenly, the microphone is no longer working since couple days. If I'm taking a video or using Skype, the sound is noisy and extremely loud.
Maybe I need to use the warranty, I don't know.
If, by any chance, you have a clue to help me out, please let know.
Cheers,

Asus Transformer tf700t tablet microphone issue

Speaker not working

Hi!
I bought a used S4 online really cheap knowing the speaker didn't work. Got the phone charged it and heard that the speaker was buzzing with a high frequency.
Rooted it, installed cwm and flashed PAC thinking that would help.
The battery drained like crazy with the speaker still buzzing even with the charger unplugged, and when for examle scrolling a webpage the buzzing got worse.
I ordered a new speaker and replaced it. The buzzing is gone , don't know 'bout the battery drain yet.
But sadly still no sound
Ideas anyone!?
Regards
/Kenneth

Just one... ask on the S4 forum instead of the S 4G forum?
