The widgets bellow are also installable as normal apps (no need to push them to /system/app).

Clocks (ClockWidgets) [Screenshot]
Weather (WeatherWidget) [Screenshot]
Photos and videos (PhotoWidget) [Screenshot]
Recent calls (RecentCallsWidget) [Screenshot]
Tools (OnOffTools) [Screenshot] - OnOffTools needs to be installed as a system app (push to /system/app and set correct permissions) if you want to be able to toggle GPS and/or NFC with it!!!
WALKMAN (MusicWidget) [Screenshot] - MusicWidget requires non-Xperia users to install the SemcMusic (Walkman) app from Xperia Z / T / V, etc. Search for it on XDA-Developers
Notes ICS (NoteWidget ICS) [Screenshot] - NoteWidget ICS requires non-Xperia users to install the SemcNotes (ICS) app

Unable to put any widget on homescreen ... says not enough room !! I am using Note ll ( Stock Rom 4.1.2 , non-rooted ) !!!
Also could not see any options for "launcher settings" on tapping menu !!

This is an awesome launcher. I know you have stated in the op, but will you be adding the same type of Settings structure as in the other launcher you made listed below? Can't wait for custom DPI support, thats gonna be awesome on ParanoidRom. Also, I am having some difficultly changing the gallery widget's designation image folder. When I first installed it I saw a camera image with a plus sign, but when I tapped on it, it auto choose a image folder on my phone and every time I tap on it, it just opens the gallery app. Also, it seems like the status bar does support transparency but the narbar does not.

nope not using any from anywhere, all the widgets, apk's,permission files and framework files are taken from Xperia T jelly bean and ics dumps and modified to work in any device by myself.
If I use anyone's work, even a slight small part-I always give credit to the original author of that mod in my thread,so get your facts straight before accusing me of theft, cheating or whatever you are accusing !

Just a suggestion, if it isn't implemented..would it be possible to change the spacing between placing widgets? Like by default on holo launcher 2.2+, when the search widget gets placed on top and when the power control widget is placed below it, there's a thick gap in between. Would it be possible to shrink that gap and can that be done on holo launcher 2.2+ as well? Also, for holo launcher 2.2+, could you do the same for the widgets tab as well? Root needed for 2.2-2.3/3.0 but not for 4.0/4.1
Edit: adding on, not sure why root would be needed for ICS devices for adding widgets from the tab as they're already there by system's default. Actually, as for spacing, maybe you can push the search bar to be a little higher so that it's a little closer to the status bar like that of ICS/JB, that way you can have an extra row of placing icons making it 4 instead of 3
May I know other difference with normal version beside Widget tab ?
Grid size increased. Iam wondering why mobint did not include those minor changes to the normal version...

Looks great! I'm about to try. Thank you!
Installed and running good so far. But i have some questions. When i go to add a widget from the drawer tab a popup tells me that by adding the widget it allows holo launcher to collect any data when i use it. Is this normal and what kind of data are you trying to collect?
And does this launcher collect data when adding widgets by long pressing the home screen? I didnt get a popup by adding it this way.

For some reason I can't resize widgets.

I know this is only in beta, but if Holo Launcher is any indication I would expect no advancements in the area of smoothness. This is the first launcher to lag on my Galaxy S III. I only experience it on scrolling through homescreens, app drawer is fine.
If you read your users feedback then please consider improving this for future versions if you expect to compete with Nova or Apex Launcher. There is no reason why top of the line hardware should chug on this.

Agreed!! Like some widgets for example, the search widget, is kind of slim, yet has a larger than normal marginal spacing around the bar for it's size

What do you mean when you say you deleted folders? I have access to folders still, they're just not as visibly attractive as on adw.

Very fast, stable, and Smooth on Galaxy SL I9003, thanks
I tested on my HTC desire Z and this is nice! Look good, stable. Thanks!
I said that when they procure delete the folders, I meant that blacked out some values of languages that are not needed and left it lighter.
Some ideas to still going?
My opinion: Keep on android path, dont do what tsf did for example..going some completely different way compared to what google proposes...
Start looking on what Holo Launcher do..what ADW new version itself did..
And then start to improve..improve..improve..try to make it as fast as possible..as stable as possible..
I really like to try new launchers..i change mine launcher almost every week..and still not find some launcher that fit everything i want...maybe it could be borning here =D
Good luck on development! =)
Just to know..you will keep it open source?
depends what you mean by keeping it open?
The launcher code I mean
yes, I'll keep it open, out of respect for AnderWeb. : Cool:
Version 0.7 available for download, please be kind enough to pass tests and all possible subjects for further, hugs to all.

I see mention of a menu with settings in it but cannot find it. How do I access the settings? The screen shot in the OP shows the three dots menu icon at the bottom right of the screen, but they are not present on my device. I only see the usual Back, Home, and Recent options. This is on a Motorola Razr M, 4.1.1.
List view is in the settings(layout as list) then set grid width to 1.
If you don't have access to the menu then you cannot access the settings, ill have a look into that to see if theres anything i can find to fix it...
I included a screen shot from my RAZR M so you can see the absence of the menu.
I also installed this on my Nexus 7. No menu there either

Should work now on 2.0 and above. Not sure how it will run, but let me know! :good:
I love the concept! However, here are a few features I would be pleased to see implemented:
Padding adjustment choice
Option for swipe left/right grid like launcher (iPhone esque)
Customization of titles
Color customization
Add/delete pages
Thanks

there is some customising of tiles if you long click them.
With the padding option, are you referring to between the tiles, or around the edge of the screen?
Re: [App] Grenade Launcher - BETA
Firstly liking the I idea here, also can't add shortcuts.
And I have a few suggestions:
1 Adding the ability to have widgets on screens
2 home screen change
3 customizable app screen transition effect and look and feel
4 customize color schemes
Again liking where it's going nicely done

Warning: If you are using this app on a device that is running an OEM skinned Android (Samsung Touchwiz, HTC Sense, etc.), do not expect perfect compatibility. As explained below, this app works best on devices running ROM's that are close to AOSP. (Cyanogenmod, Paranoid Android, AOKP, Slim, and all other derivatives).
Description
Fontster allows you to easily change the system wide fonts on your Android device within a well designed Holo UI. In order to use this app, your device must be rooted. What makes Fontster special is that it will replace all font styles used by the operating system. Unlike other font installers that only replace a few of the font styles, Fontster will change all styles resulting in a consistent look across all text. This means that practically all of the typed elements throughout your devices UI will be changed to your desired font, including the keyboard, digital clock widget, web pages etc.
Features
• Font installation
• About 150 full font families to choose from (more are constantly being added)
• Font previewing (try out fonts prior to installing)
• True Font Display (font names are show in their actual font)
• Backup and restore fonts
Compatibility
Fontster works best with devices running close to stock (AOSP) builds. Therefore Nexus devices tend to work great with this app. Although the app has been tested and confirmed to be working on some other non-AOSP devices (Samsung Touchwiz, etc.), it is highly recommended to use caution (make backups) and be prepared for things to go wrong if you are using a non-AOSP device.
Open Source
- Fontster has been developed in a fully open source nature
- The code for the app can be found on GitHub
- Feel free to contribute to the project by submitting pull requests
Changelog
Code:
0.1
- Initial release
- Font installation
- Font previewing
- Backup/restore fonts
0.2
- User can now enter their own custom text when previewing a font
- Make instruction dialog show up the first time you open the font list to explain how to use
- Delete old fonts before downloading the new one so that duplicates dont exist
- Download fallback fonts on first run and use them after a font has been installed (this should fix the weird foreign characters that we were seeing)
0.3
- Only download fonts if they dont already exist (Users can now install fonts offline if they have already previously downloaded them)
- Update fonts
- Add section to view all the currently installed font styles (here you can confirm that all styles were installed)
- Redesign the logic for the ArrayAdapter/ListView that shows all of the fonts
- A checkmark icon will now be displayed beside the fonts that the user has already downloaded
- Some other code changes that no one will notice
0.4
- Previewing for all font styles
- Cache the preview fonts too, so that the app doesnt redownload them if you already have them on the storage
- Track currently installed fonts
- Add checkmark icon explanation to dialog in Font List
- Try to fix force closing on some other devices
- Clean up and modularize code
0.5
- Added a new feature that allows the user to select a font file from their phones storage and install it (WIP)
- Fixed the issue causing the buttons on the main screen to get stuck with a dark colour after being pressed
- Added options to reboot and restart systemui
- Added an option to send a font request to the dev team
- Added delete backup option
- Font updates
- Before restoring, check if backup exists, and only proceed to restore if it does
- Removed font tracking (it wasnt working well, and is quite unnecessary)
- Added easter egg (let me know if you find it )
- Added option to share app
- Made things more modular
0.6
- Minor adjustments before uploading to Play Store
0.7
- New fonts added
- Implemented In-app donation
- New icon
- Added splash screen
0.8
- Added 'True Font Display' feature. When enabled, this shows each font name in its actual font (see new screenshot for further details)
- Font updates: Added Vinque, removed Calibri (was broken)
- Enabled translucent bars in other areas of the app (4.4+ only)
- Removed 'Install from Storage' feature. This was not a very safe option, and its quite reduntant
0.9
- Font updates: Added Roboto Soft, Fira Sans, Facit, Aleo Bold
- Style changes in settings menu
- Changed share link to Play Store URL
1.0
- Show confirmation dialog before backing up, restoring and deleting back up
- Raised minimum SDK version to Android 4.3 (I will fix the app so that it works on 4.0-4.2 soon)
1.1
- All folders created by the app are now stored in one single directory (no more mess on your storage)
- Action Bar will become transparent while scrolling through the font list
- App will now check for internet connection before attempting to download fonts
- Better exception handling (should reduce crashing)
- Added default Android stock font (Roboto)
- Font updates: Added Cambria, Courier New
- Some French and Russian translations
1.2
- Fixed crashing (Wipe App Data if you are still experiencing issues)
- Improved font injection process (Fontster wont request Superuser access a bunch of times anymore)
- Removed all paid fonts due to legal issues
2.0
- App has been completely rewritten
- Material design
- Added proper support for Lollipop
- Greatly improved downloading & installation logic
- Fixed reliability of Backup/Restore
2.1
- Fixed some issues that caused crashes
2.2
- Fixed more crashes
2.3
- More bug fixes
2.4
- Bug fixes
- New icon
2.5
- Fixed bug which caused font downloads to fail
