Definitely has potential!! I'm gonna keep an eye on it for sure. A couple recommended features; hide app labels, list style layout (which is probably stated in the op)

OK so I'm an idiot and dud not see the menu ignore my stupidity

I see mention of a menu with settings in it but cannot find it. How do I access the settings? The screen shot in the OP shows the three dots menu icon at the bottom right of the screen, but they are not present on my device. I only see the usual Back, Home, and Recent options. This is on a Motorola Razr M, 4.1.1.

List view is in the settings(layout as list) then set grid width to 1.
If you don't have access to the menu then you cannot access the settings, ill have a look into that to see if theres anything i can find to fix it...

I included a screen shot from my RAZR M so you can see the absence of the menu.
I also installed this on my Nexus 7. No menu there either

Should work now on 2.0 and above. Not sure how it will run, but let me know! :good:

I love the concept! However, here are a few features I would be pleased to see implemented:
Padding adjustment choice
Option for swipe left/right grid like launcher (iPhone esque)
Customization of titles
Color customization
Add/delete pages
Thanks

there is some customising of tiles if you long click them.
With the padding option, are you referring to between the tiles, or around the edge of the screen?

Re: [App] Grenade Launcher - BETA
Firstly liking the I idea here, also can't add shortcuts.
And I have a few suggestions:
1 Adding the ability to have widgets on screens
2 home screen change
3 customizable app screen transition effect and look and feel
4 customize color schemes
Again liking where it's going nicely done

Does it allow for a different wallpaper for each home screen?
Really nice little launcher, deep and I can see myself using it instead of launcher pro.
A few of things I would really like to see are:
* The app drawer folder system being implemented on the home screen
* having multiple swipe gestures on the icons (swipe up, swipe down)
* The ability to have no icons on a dock (instead of the "+")
* The ability to scroll vertically on the home screen (windows phone 7esq)
* Be able to set the drawer folder to be displayed from the bottom rather than the top.
Other than that keep up the good work.
Too bad these alternative launchers cant make use of the Sense UI Widgets. That would totally make it for me.
But GO Launcher really seems like a great piece of Software, and its developing just in the right direction.
The thing that keeps me at launcher pro at the moment are the sense styled plus widgets, since I use them regulary.
Any chance of getting similar widgets on GO Launcher someday?
Another great app from a great development team

Looks promising but I'm missing the standard shortcuts in the dock. Only having the launch app option isn't enough for me, I need custom app shortcuts (specifically for "Smart Shortcuts").

Thanks for the new v1.30
Good launcher runs really smooth on my gingerbread desire ^^.
How about a built in option to categorize your apps like you can do it with Folder Organizer app, so you could categorize the app drawer and the folders (a little apple like I know but really handy), which makes it much easier to find certain apps I suppose.
I really like this launcher.. it is very fast and responsive. the iOS style uninstaller is very nice not to mention the task killer.
So far, everything works very well, and I did not have any issues..
I like it better than Sense, and I highly recommend it...
Thanks a lot for this intuitive launcher, keep it up
Great launcher. Home screen rotation is broken for me in 1.3, the dock doesn't adjust properly.
Settings button says app not installed.
Epic 4G.
Thanks.
FYI: Go Launcher 1.30 would not function correctly after reboot on ATT Captivate. It was locked on one home screen with no widgets loading. Bottom icons still functioned.

For some reason i have a huge battery drain issue using go launcher. Since i use it i lost about 10% an hour. I now freezes it with titanium backup and use quick launcher and use the phone like normal and its using 2-3% an hour like it always did. I really don't know why but it really is your launcher which causes this drain...

I couldn't find a note taking app I liked that worked on cm9, so made this. Figured i'd post it here incase someone else finds it useful.
Features multiple folders, insert pictures from camera/gallery (app can be opened directly from the gallery too). It uses the spen sdk so has the same pen type/colour/size chooser and image and text resize/move as the samsung apps.
Anyway this is v0.1 (alpha), only been tested on 29/5 cm9 nightly.

v0.3 (alpha)

Releasing the S-Pen button will now switch back to the previous tool used
Added finger touch options
General UI improvements

Fixed bug when attempting to add a new folder with no name
General performance improvements
Fixed bug where \"Done\" button on keyboard would not have any effect when setting a custom offset
Fixed bug where images imported from the gallery would be overly compressed
To handle the higher quality imported images the application now requests an increased heap size
Files that start with a full stop \".\" are now reserved for system use
Corrected typos in settings
v0.5 (alpha)
Added version to about dialog
Removed PDF export, this will be re-added in a future version
Warning to users upgrading from v0.1 or v0.2
Unlike previous versions, v0.4 (and to a lesser extent v0.3) reserves folders and files beginning with a full stop for system use. If you have made any folders which begin with a full stop you will need to manually edit their name using a file manager.
Known issues
Switching from portrait to landscape or vice versa causes the canvas to be reset, deleting any unsaved changes. UPDATE: this has been fixed in v0.4.
The image resizing handles (blue box) are positioned to high, however image resizing still works, you just need to drag the corners of the image, not the corners off the blue box.
Just installed it and took it for a test drive. Seems to work well. I am not sure how it compares to smemo as I moved to CM9 fairly soon after obtaining my new note.
Anyway thanks and I'll give feedback after some more play. So far stylus control is good.
Just what I was looking for, thanks a lot!
It's so easy to insert pictures and make notes etc, and the result can be shared easily via email which was important to me.
Tested it in AOKP build 37 and is working fine, BTW can u make it to support multi-DPI?
with 240dpi, the menu is getting cluttered.
This app had a great potential especially for those of us who like using CM9/AOKP/AOSP roms. I only had 1 question, since it's developed using spen sdk, isit possible to have setting to change from right-handed to left-handed or vice-versa?
this is hepful for cm9 user. Thanks
Works really well. Thanks

Options to change text size/style/colour
New image manipulation UI
Fixed layout bug on phones with modified DPI settings
Press s-pen button to switch to eraser mode
Release s-pen button to switch to pen mode

@zeneziz I don't think it's possible, but if anyone knows otherwise shout up and I'll implement it .
Sounds really great! Does it support palm rejection? This is the only thing that currently keeps me at the stock ICS...
Edit: based on the SDK site, it should be possible:
New com.samsung.spen.lib.input package :
For both Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) versions of Android :
• Can now distinguish between a touch with a finger or the S Pen
• Side button status for compatibility
Not yet, i'm looking at implementing it though.

It would be the definitive solution for many of us as Smemo replacement.

Only just noticed your edit .
I can stop the finger input by just overriding onTouchFinger and returning true. The problem with that is that whenever you move your finger/palm/hand it stops recognizing the s-pen input, and you have to lift the pen up and then put it back down for it to be recognized again. Obviously it's pretty much impossible to keep your hand still while writing.

It's definitely possible, although I don't know when I'll have the time to do it (want to try getting palm rejection done first).

Well I've just figured out I was wrong and it is possible lol, by adding in a customisable pen offset position. Won't have an update ready for a couple of days though.
YES YES YES on the widget OPTION. would love to switch to CM9 or even back to ICStunner but i use the S memo a lot and the S MEMO widget alot and would love that option.
Also the one where u press the button and tap the screen and takes the picture and opens up edit mode but that is utterly different then this but the widget option would be great!!!
Very cool

The widgets bellow are also installable as normal apps (no need to push them to /system/app).
Stock Xperia users: you need to install these versions of the widgets, because the stock versions will not work with this launcher! These versions will not overwrite your stock widgets when installed, so you can continue using the stock widgets with the stock Xperia™ Home launcher.

This is an awesome launcher. I know you have stated in the op, but will you be adding the same type of Settings structure as in the other launcher you made listed below? Can't wait for custom DPI support, thats gonna be awesome on ParanoidRom. Also, I am having some difficultly changing the gallery widget's designation image folder. When I first installed it I saw a camera image with a plus sign, but when I tapped on it, it auto choose a image folder on my phone and every time I tap on it, it just opens the gallery app. Also, it seems like the status bar does support transparency but the narbar does not.

nope not using any from anywhere, all the widgets, apk's,permission files and framework files are taken from Xperia T jelly bean and ics dumps and modified to work in any device by myself.
If I use anyone's work, even a slight small part-I always give credit to the original author of that mod in my thread,so get your facts straight before accusing me of theft, cheating or whatever you are accusing !

Warning: If you are using this app on a device that is running an OEM skinned Android (Samsung Touchwiz, HTC Sense, etc.), do not expect perfect compatibility. As explained below, this app works best on devices running ROM's that are close to AOSP. (Cyanogenmod, Paranoid Android, AOKP, Slim, and all other derivatives).
Description
Fontster allows you to easily change the system wide fonts on your Android device within a well designed Holo UI. In order to use this app, your device must be rooted. What makes Fontster special is that it will replace all font styles used by the operating system. Unlike other font installers that only replace a few of the font styles, Fontster will change all styles resulting in a consistent look across all text. This means that practically all of the typed elements throughout your devices UI will be changed to your desired font, including the keyboard, digital clock widget, web pages etc.
Features
• Font installation
• About 150 full font families to choose from (more are constantly being added)
• Font previewing (try out fonts prior to installing)
• True Font Display (font names are show in their actual font)
• Backup and restore fonts
Compatibility
Fontster works best with devices running close to stock (AOSP) builds. Therefore Nexus devices tend to work great with this app. Although the app has been tested and confirmed to be working on some other non-AOSP devices (Samsung Touchwiz, etc.), it is highly recommended to use caution (make backups) and be prepared for things to go wrong if you are using a non-AOSP device.
Open Source
- Fontster has been developed in a fully open source nature

What version of android are you using? I think its not Lollipop.
Seems to work pretty good so far. Awesome app, gonna help me a lot staying politically up-to-date.
Running Cyanogenmod 12 on my Moto G.
I can't delete the feeds properly, unfortunately.
Do you want ideas/feature requests?
Spoiler
I think the app list is though functional, not as fast to use as it could be. It would be great if you changed that.
For example like a separate drawer page that the user can either access by swiping left or tapping the floating button.
Regards

I added three CNN feeds and scrolling lags now, but I cannot delete them.

Ahhh.. Okay, its not really delete the feed. Thanks for reporting. I'll fix it up and update the apk.
U mean tapping on floating button to open the app drawer? For now, the floating is used for favorite application. You can long press on any app and add to favorite. Then u can launch ur fav app just by tapping on the floating button. Unfortunately, I've set the limit for fav app to only 6. If more than that, it would make the screen a bit messy. Let me know if my explanation does not answer u bro.
Sure I read your description
I just want to point out another possibility to launch the apps that would be easier in my opinion
Gesendet von meinem XT1039
OK ill see what i can do..
I am using this launcher since yesterday how and its awesome!
I will somehow add a picture to show how most feeds are displayed which is somehow unaesthetic with the green droid (which is probably caused by the source?), in the feed source there are also no icons matched to the link.
to add tumblr blogs just copy the blog url into the manual "add feed" text area and hang "/rss" to the end. Is it possible to set it in the launchpet app that those tumblr posts are openes directly in tumblr?
Broadcasts and so on?
Thanks a lot and if you advanced some of the features you could easily make some money with your work, its great and reliable.
Gesendet von meinem XT1039
All cards have the same date (of when i added the feed), i girst thought this was due to tumblr because they don't use an exact time stamp but it is the same with cnn europe.
No! Its the time of when I actualized the feed last and when I tap to open the post it shows the correct date, probably some wrongly placed strings?
The tumblr posts arent in the right (chronological) order as well but that could be an error in the rss, too.
Well this is a lot of feedback huh? If i can help (e.g. German translation), let mw know.
