Ram Optimization Script

Hello Guys,
This is tweak for RAM made by our xda member. I have been using this RAM optimization script since three four days and have seen considerable improvement.

yes original developer has given permissions to add it in roms...just give him credits...i have tested it..seen nice improvement..lets see what others give feedback

Installed it with CWM.
First impressions, well, phone reacts faster and smoother. No lag at all. Usualy, when I reboot my phone I face lags when widgets are loading, but not this time. Thank you.

sumee's rom is bit slow at startup..worked for you...cool...n hit thanks instead saying it ;-)

Didn't work for me. In fact my phone became laggy after putting this script. Reverted back to S96ashishramhack.

Doing great so far!
I installed the script via CWM, and it's going quite well so far. I do have a little lag, but compared with how it was before, it's doing a good job

yup, almost same result, kyrillos 5.7, fugumod non-oc

Didn't see any change on a Stock provider Rom with cwm. Maybe later

maybe some of you expect revolutionary speed so you don't notice improvement... it's ram optimization.
if you test a bit with multitasking you'll see there's a lot less lag than usually...

No I didn't do anything else, just implement this hack using CWM.

Dear plz go in init.d folder n delete darkky's script.. U r running two scripts simultaneously.. So its behaving weirdly for u

it will great if battery lasts longer and a very good stable performance with little of attractive animations and themes

A rom with a tons of customization, like cyanmobile, but more stable and with the fluid of a stock based rom and a really good performance for gaming even with some apps installed

bro please more work and can u make more stable cuz some time my phone restart :S not only your rom all cyanmobile... :S ( more ram free, script)

Majority of the fit users want performance and stability, also the battery backup..
themng is the other thing. as even we can aplly themes..
so i wud go with perfomance n functionality(evrything working)..
battery backup is also a must.

Yep performance matters I am thinking of making a ROM filled with power when flash this ROM ur mobile is turned into Lamborghini Lets see what comes out of my efforts lol

Priorities or what we want??
#1 battery backup ( you said it will tun into lamborghini;; we say hell yeah!!! )
#2 looks/theme/customizatin
#3 performance
#4 storage ( with link2sd on cm10/9 i installed max upto 60 apps maybe u can increase the amount)
what else ,, bring up something new we haven't seen before......

I'd kill for a ROM that gets me Photo Sphere but even CM 10.1 doesn't seem to have it yet. Is that just with my device? :/

It should have a lot of free ram (150~175mb)

photosphere is proprietary google software and only for nexus devices.

Built in data statistics panel in settings.apk

Xperia J ram issue

Hi, I'm using Xperia J Jelly bean rooted and I wonder if there is something which could help me with ram issue..it's always around 50mb and I can't any games or videos and I've major apps like greenify to advanced task killer..Any help?

My advice would be to install Pimp My Rom ( look it up on PlayStore) and play with the settings there. Just set the OOM and the Minfree values to "Low" - look in this thread for more details regarding OOM Grouping and Pimp My Rom, it will explain what changes you can and should do - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908269 - look into post nr. 2 for details regarding OOM and minfree values.

I don';t know what to tell you..
I have the same problem regarding free Ram. I have about 60-70 free but Subway Surfer works pretty great actually.....
Maybe try to repair using PC Companion and as you install your apps see after which one your Ram starts to go down...

V6 superCharger will help alot i have no lags on deadspace and GTA3 And 150mb free ram on stock kernel

Follow the tutorial in general section and thee init.d tutorial it will run 99supercharger at boot ass a shell script. If your running it on jelly bean download the rc12 script

[Q] Is XPeria L crap smartphone?

Hello..
Well Now I have my device C2105 full rooted with kernel extended stock v2 and Cleaned & tweaked rom !
every game I install on my phone, never can start it -.-... like Modern Combat 4 or Asphalt 8 .. wtf?? I suppose Xperia L is a nice modern smartphone with enough cpu and gpu for run those games -.-!
Maybe this phone need overclock for run that games or similar???

You must have borked something during tweaking and flashing... Asphalt 8 works flawlessly here (along with Asphalt 7). Had to hack and slash a bit to get stupid Play to let me install it... but once it installed - it works perfectly... Modern Combat i didn't try but surely will now that you report errors...
Try reflashing stock and try again... not sure what to tell you except for that...

Dude Xperia L is the best ever mid range smartphone and it has all the power to run all these games. If you can't run these games then there might be some problem with your phone or its possible that you are using pirated copies.

let me guess u are using hacked APK+data
it's not allowed in xda for discussing such a thing
anyway ur APK is bad one try using another one in other websites

I don't know why the hell all ppl are saying the same, my thread was asking if xperia L need SOME MORE internal overcloock or something like that for run this, or another games with HIGH graphics.

I understand you , @mechanickeen easy.He is just asking why these games are not working and he is new there,but i think that he know the rules.I have tested asphalt 8 and the game was soo smooth on high settings with stock 17. firmware and stock kernel.Mc4 works too smooth without any lag.I see you have extented kernel,this can't be the phone.I think you copyed the data to wrong folder,asphalt 8 and mc4 data should be in android obb folder,or apk is wrong.On xperia l you can play these games without oc.

Thank you przemek4113, you solved my question =) Indeed, is the RIGHT way asking why asphalt is not working mb firmware, mb kernel is not the right way for discard options If I ask hello everyone I have hacked apk and my game doesn't work..lol !
And the biggest cause I'm asking if Xperia L need to OC for run that game is the android market, on the asphalt say he says "This app is incompatible with all of your devices."

honestly, I am still newbie too coz Xperia L is my first Android but I never ask with using "BAD TITLE" like this one "is Xperia L crap smartphone?"
and I did Unlock bootloader, Custom kernel and ROM, and ROOT with some researches and little questions.

by the way every sites that provide [email protected] apk always include their instructions to put the data in /Android/obb or /Android/data.
I don't know if u're lacked of that instruction

I think all in xperia L forum know that this phone have really good hardware and it can run any game,after flashing a custom kernel and oc it to 1.5ghz it's a gaming beast.

@up your right but on .17 firmware you are not able to have oc due to wifi problem with kernel. But I'm running on stock and still XL have a power for running Asphalt 8 on High but it goes so hot after playing...

yeah,but we can downgrade to 36. firmware and then install thunderzap kernel or venegance.Me too when i play asphalt 8 or other heavy games phone is getting hot,but all new dual core and quad core smartphone's have this problem.

XPERIA L

Recently i installed custom rom cm 12.1 in my xperia l c2104, i was thinking the performance is good while play games but it's not happened. Games is lagging badly (asphalt, gta etc..). As the matter of fact there is no game lag in original rom so there is any option to get back in original rom. if yes then please share the process... thanks in advance.

And use the search before creating a new thread remember the search is your friend!!
You can download the stock (factory) rom from xperia firmware (google it).
PS. Xperia L is actually low powered device to solve lag use ZD Kernel to overclock (1.5 GHz) and use Greenify to stop background apps. This method actually boosts the performance very good.

hey man, was your wifi working with the basic taoshan kernel?

Wifi not working maybe because the rom source is outdated.

YES it's working fine with basic taoshan kernel and i have tried thunderzip kernal also my phone is crashing several time.
