Hello Guys,
This is tweak for RAM made by our xda member. I have been using this RAM optimization script since three four days and have seen considerable improvement.
Here is the link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1111145
Credit goes to Juwe11 for making this wonderful script.
GUYS PLEASE GIVE FEEDBACK AFTER INSTALLING IT
thanks.... i think this can be added into the kernel itself...
Anyone testing, please let me know if there is considerable improvement...

yes original developer has given permissions to add it in roms...just give him credits...i have tested it..seen nice improvement..lets see what others give feedback
Installed it with CWM.
First impressions, well, phone reacts faster and smoother. No lag at all. Usualy, when I reboot my phone I face lags when widgets are loading, but not this time. Thank you.

Didn't work for me. In fact my phone became laggy after putting this script. Reverted back to S96ashishramhack.
Doing great so far!
I installed the script via CWM, and it's going quite well so far. I do have a little lag, but compared with how it was before, it's doing a good job

cool...great script !!
maybe some of you expect revolutionary speed so you don't notice improvement... it's ram optimization.
if you test a bit with multitasking you'll see there's a lot less lag than usually...

USE MY NEW APPLICATION RAM MANAGER INSTEAD OF THIS SCRIPT
BETTER PERFORMANCE, MORE SPEED, LESS LAG
Hi guys,
After long time of testing I found the best balance for RAM, this script will make your RAM to the best optimization, the best optimization means the best balance between free memory, multitask, speed of launching apps and system speed. It means that you'll still have enough free memory (you'll have free memory as much as you need, because it is not good if you have really a lot of free memory, because Android's work with memory is different to other OS) and you can fully use your multitask, my script doesn't kill your app automatically when you minimize it. Your system and switching between apps or launching apps will be very fast.
Now you don't have to use Task Killer!
EXPLANATION
Lowmemorykiller
-Values which mainly affect your multitask and free memory. Values of my script were made for the best combination of using multitask and still having enough free memory.
VM (Virtual Machine)
-Values which mainly affect your file cache and system memory. With my VM values you can achieve better battery consumption, system speed and speed of launching apps.
OOM_ADJ
-Value of every process which gives the kernel a hint, which process it can kill in an OOM (out of memory) situation.

+1 tested on MIUI MCGv5 and was getting avg 126 free ram from 314+, after applying Juwes script, now averaging 161 free RAM.
Will test and report how this works in usage terms, bit the numbers vertainly indicate more free RAM immediately.

Yeah but it is not only about free RAM, I can make script with which you have a lot of free memory available, but you'll have lags and you will not to use multitask, this script is for the best optimization, so you can use multitask, but you'll have a enough free memory, because Android need to keep some file cache, because apps then start very fast.

actually i have not enough time to make some screenshots....wait some minutes and flash the rom
you need gingerbread baseband installed.
Nice to see some real development work, not just a quick abandonware kitchen job like some other 'roms' we've seen lately...
If you could list the major differences between our stock P500 rom and the Optimus Net rom you have developed in the first post (you probably already plan to anyway) that would be great and probably save a bunch of questions later (probably not with some...)

Looks interesting; I'll give it a shot next time I'm on gingerbread.
Though just a recommendation: Change the packaged kernel to the non-fso version; I say that so its compatible with most phones. Fso breaks the system for some people; give people that want it the option to flash it.

No problem. Its just how it handles the system and doesn't always play nice. Just like a person that flashes an a2sd enabled rom and someone who isn't partitioned can't boot the rom; little things like that. Hope the rom is received well.

Its all good, and never a problem.
ONE more thing, I double checked and saw the rom is undervolted -75mv; -75mv is 'technically' aggressive, and too much. Personally I use -100mv, but not all can. The safest bet would be to use -25/-50 as most phones can handle that. You may want to bold that in the OP to avoid little things.

It should only matter if you're partitioned and use a2sd; I believe just how it handles the files/apps. I'd make a backup prior to flashing if you did.

it has to be on ext4 at least i think. i say this because it has 2 tweaks in a init.d file (remove jouralism and perfect mount) it said that its EXT4 tweaks. So maybe they wont hurt it if your phone isnt on EXT4 but maybe it will...you can try and let me know but do that at your own risk

I was trying v9Rc11, but was stucking at boot logo, after running Rc9 there was no issue at all and successfully applied and booted also.
i will be glad if you post the nessecary steps to start supercharger on our device cause the original thread is a mess !!
everyone using cm10 should try this script ,, cm10 become more fast than ginger on our device with this script thanks
I have used supercharger v6 for a long time both on stock GB and CM9..
Maybe, just maybe, the performance was a little better.. Nothing outstanding.. People say it feels like a new phone and all that, so give it a try..
First of all this is not your work so it should not be in the development section I think. In TF201 forums, if it is not your work it doesn't belong in the development section. I am not sure if this rule applies to this section as well.
on topic: I tried V6 supercharger in CM10 and it works. used balanced mode in 512 HP. option 7 or 8 i think.

Its just a script to fix ooms priorities ie, rearranging when android system kills a specific process.. So the max I think that can happen is a boot loop, so have a backup..

CM9 & CM10 ported for i9003 has been optimized speed. I tried V6 Supercharger, it's not a outstanding as rumors, "speed like a new phone" is not true.
Please can you make an easier tutorial please?
I'm Argentinian and I'm not an expert speaking English.
The other thread that you link here is very confused, has colors, titles and downloads everywhere.
I don't understand that thread.
Please, if you can and if you want to do it of course, make a tutorial only with the installation instructions and the download links of necessary files.
Thank you in advance! I really want to try this
Greetings!

thanks for the tip.
but when I install starter kit - it says cant install su binaries ( cos I have one) is it true ?
and it also fails to install ics service center - there`s some kind of error, and it keeps telling me that i need to install patched services jar
i choose automatic - it downloads - installs and then when i run the script again - it says that i should install it again
I tried this mod, and it works, the ram managment is been improved, better than ram optimization pro. It works it doesn't make miracle.
sounds great. I'll have a try
How did this thread came to General thread from dev section ??
