ROMD AT&T HTC One X on Viper XL no annoying att boot - Android General

Once I installed Viper XL and TWRP the best thing happened. No more annoying AT&T Boot image and sound. If you want to get rid of the annoying boot ROM your device. I'm not sure if it works with everyone.
Remember to thank me if I helped.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it's perfectly normal if you happen to be on a deodexed ROM.
I'm on xi40 which is odex correct?

The updating Android thing is normal. I get it on some roms and not on others. Never bothered me. I do have a question though. How did you change your splash screen? I didn't think this was possible yet.

[Q] Telstra 1.89 XL can I load custom ROM

I have read a lot of posts, some say it is not possible some say it is.
Yes it's possible. Unlock your bootloader through htcdev.com then you can flash a recovery and then a rom.
Check out the telstra one XL thread in the general forum as I've posted the steps there a few times.

It is possible, I just flashed the Telstra 1.89 Rom to my AT&T One X, battery life is much better without constantly searching for LTE

It worked thanks.
After loading recovery, make sure you go straight into recovery and do a backup, or you wont have one.

(HELP) AT&T HTC One X, Viper XL 3.2.6

Hello, I am running Viper XL 3.2.6 and Elemental X 3.2 over clocked to 1.7 GHz. OK so whenever I boot my HOX with a custom boot animation of any kind. It does it once shows the lock screen then does it again, then I can use it. So it boots twice every time I turn it on. If anyone else had this problem can you please tell me the solution? If it's a Viper XL problem and everyone has it I guess we can all post it here and viper xl moderators well see it and fix it.
- Sincerely: Techinstein

[Q] Problems reinstalling Stock ROM

Hi there.
I'm really, really new on this subject, but this weekend i tried booting my HTC One X into Cyanogenmod. Unfortunately i was not satisfied as my Internet Browsers (Built-in and Chrome) kept crashing.
I now want to get back to the Stock ROM, but i'm uncertain what to do. I browsed this page for way too long last night, but there was no help to find.
Upon installation of Cyanogenmod, i createda back-up which i tried restoring from, but after that it could not boot, and this very moment i'm scared i bricked my phone or something.
While my phone was working i downloaded the correct Stock ROM and placed it on my SD-card. I tried installing it via recovery mode, but the installation aborted.
Any help would be fantastic, but please keep in mind that i'm new on the subject, and english isn't my primary language.
Cheers.
Firstly, is your phone the HTC One X (Endeavoru) or the HTC One XL / at&t One X (Evita)?

It is a HTC One X Endeavoru. I'm currently re-charging it to try flashing the stock RUU.

One X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Looks like One X to me -
Anyways - I found RUU + guide HERE . My phone booted the stock system now, but i can't Unlock it (Screen-lock, finger-swipe thing you know).
Any advice on this?
Nope. Take it from someone who knows what they're talking about, someone who is on this forum every single day because I have the One XL. I can't give you any advice because I don't know anything about your phone because you're asking in the wrong forum. You have the HTC One X, and I'll say again this is the HTC One XL / at&t One X forum, completely different device.
