Am I the only one that gets this stuff? I get it on every JB Sense ROM and have tried toggling Disable HW Overlays and Force GPU Rendering.
Any ideas? Seems to be only Sense...other apps seem fine.
My guess is that it is a hardware issue. If you have it on every single rom, then something is probably wrong. Flash RUU
and see of it fixes it.

It is on every JB Sense ROM....doesn't happen on CM 10, 10.1 or ICS Sense. In fact it doesn't even happen on any apps other than the Sense launcher. So odd. I don't want to flash RUU...too much work as I would have to re-root/re-SUPER CID right?
I see some tearing in the sense keyboard app, usually just tapping twice in an entry field clears it up.(usually)
Sorry that doesn't help much here though.

That's what I said...The only ROM's it doesn't work with is Sense 4.0 because of some missing EGL or some crap that HTC took out when they decided to use Image Sense. It conflicts with the application.

Hurm, I am using InsertCoin RC1 Sense 4 and installed the instagram last nite. I snapped a few photos last nite and uploaded it to my fb.. I only get 1 FC while choosing the profile picture.
Did you flash any camera mod before? Just want to help if can.. Tq

same rom, but now quite working 100%...more like 90% of the time for me.
Over exaggerating how good it works doesn't help the issue. Be honest. If you search the threads you'll see that out the box it doesn't work for hundreds..Look on twitter too...We're not crazy..It's more than hit or miss broski's. It's only Sense 4. I think it's some sort of hack they did tho get around that issue with ImageSense.

Yeah...It's the ImageSense chip for the camera that they can't get to work.
They updated the app but now i can load or take pics but when it comes to editing it freezes and reboots.

The way I get it to work is via reboot each time I want to upload a photo.
P.S. They just rolled out an update.

Anyone else on the HTC Sensation (XE) that Instagram no longer crops but rather squeezes the picture taken, making the aspect ratio f:ed up.
This started happening to me either in the latest update, or the prior one.
Right now I'm on:
Instagram 1.0.2
Android: 4.0.3
Sense: 3.6
Non rooted
I'm using Instagram's own camera interface. It's here where the problem has started to occur.
It works with the phone's own camera interface, but that makes it way more messy.
I'm not very happy with Instagram's "half ass" release. Every one else releasing cameras for Android can make it work.
Add Volume+ app as not working with Sense 4.0!
Instagram freeze my phone when loading a pic from gallery, yes with Sense 4.0, I wonder if One X users experience these problems...
Same problem for me, freezes reboots, when photo is loading, even can't see what the iOS user's buzz is about
Also on Shnizlon's Sense 4.0
P.S. Read about the update - installed again - nothing changed..

No one is over exaggerating here, it is working without any hiccups on ARHD sense 3.6, maybe sense 4 guys facing issues not sense 3.6 i guess.
Yeah, I saw that v1.0.2 was rolled out with fixes for HTC devices, but phone still reboots when filters load.
I think MIUI.us is finally updating from 2.2.24 to 2.4.6 tomorrow, I might try that ROM & Instagram.

you should try opensensation, i think it's built from cyanogenmod 9.1 sources and has a better integration with our sensation.

Thanks for sharing the link. It looks quite technical but I cant see anything about GPS in there. Although my Google maps no longer reboots, my GPS still doesn't work on demand. Like Google maps won't be able to locate me now that I am at work for example. Also the weather tab on news and weather app doesn't work because it can't locate me.
Is anyone else having similar problems or able to suggest anything for me?

Don't think its that easy. I was under the impression the framework from sense based roms wouldn't work with non-sense roms like cyanogen and such. Things may have changed though.
And isn't there some scaling issues with one x being a larger screen size and all....I'm curious as well

Yes it possible! However, I don't think anyone is working on it since the update for our phone is supposed to be out before the month is over. Don't make a bunch of sense to hack something together only for the official release to come out 2-3 weeks later.

It's not possible. Well it is possible but it would be unusable. The framework needs to be resized from XHDPI to qHD and that isn't even possible because of the m10 images that we aren't able to replace. If you didn't replace it, you won't be able to use any of the phone because everything would be too large.

Does anyone else's wallpaper look very blurry/fuzzy? Only one that doesn't look like that is the og One X one. I tried different apps on the store and can't fix it. I tried HD wallpapers too, don't matter. Am I just expecting too much or is this a fixable thing?

Odd. I'm on the same ROM with ElementalX kernel. No blurry wallpaper or animations.
Have you tried just rebooting or has it been like this the whole time?

I've only noticed it recently but doesn't mean it couldn't have always been like this. I got a nexus 4 dots live wp and it's crisp so it makes me think it's the wp I have not any preferences or settings. This is the wp I'm trying to make look good.

Have you tried downloading and trying another home launcher app? Try Apex or Nova, and after installing, try messing with their wallpaper settings. It may be the cropping that sense forces when setting a wallpaper that is causing a problem.
I've been doing a lot of work trying to get a new ROM out. I thought it was just on the one I'm developing, but it seems this is present in all other ROMs, aosp and sense alike. Whenever I take a picture it used to show up in the little box by the shutter button. Straight to camera shots right? Now its not showing up in my gallery whatsoever. I have to browse through a file explorer to get to "100media" to find the pictures.
I've tried formatting my SD, RUU back to 1.85 nothing. RUU to 3.18 and its still doing it..... What the hell man

Sorry man I did read your post. That's not normal but I have no idea how to fix that issue.

I also read it but I have no clue what your problem is. Got a warranty? I don't know man. This is a great phone, but I've seen more people with problems... I'm on my second HOX myself and the battery is garbage on this one (failed at replacing it).
My apologies fellas... I just found out Its these senseless roms I'm working on apparently... I must be deleting something that prevents the pics from going into camera shots... I'm using bpears latest carbon build and the pics are going in their correct spots, and zenonHD is working properly also. But on rebelrom and senseless 5 they go into 100media

That's where they're supposed to go on Sense ROMs. If you take a burst shot they go into 100burst.
