Guys iam new in this amazing android world after a bunch of years in the lazy ass Symbian town :laugh:
So iam not good at rooting and such that is why my friend got my phone rooted hhhhh so my question is how to upgrade my phone’s hboot??? because i want to install a rom that needs a higher hboot than the one in stock .. my htc one s (ville c2) hboot now is -2.09... and it should be 2.11....
Please check the rom((http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2000854)) and give me your answers and would it work if i don't upgrade it or something
Ps: guys remember iam a noob so please please use simple and easy words .. and sorry if there is some mistakes because my English is not very good .... peace

Hi, im french so my english isnt very good sorry.
Im planning to buy a HTC Legend soon, and I just saw on youtube that I can ''root'' it... is it like a jailbreak for Ipodtouch? What that rooting would allows me to do that i couldnt do before? Is it worth it to root my phone? Because it would be my first phone and i dont want to break it already...

I search now 2 days on a Rom (CyanogenMod 7) for my HTC Wildfire i used google, a lot of Forums and the SuFu @ this Forum but i cant find any one
My HTC is already Rooted with "Revolutionary".
Unrevoked³ don't have worked with my HTC so i used Revolutionary.
Sorry please for this Noob question i hope so u guys can me help

i would like to know how to root my phone, which is the best latest ROM for my htc desire s 2.3.5 sense 3 which and i would like to upgrade on the latest OS . Please can somebody give me explanation in detailes . More i read this posts about rooting, roms, os i am more confused .
