[Q] Remembering Login Information in Internet Explorer - Windows Phone 8x by HTC

I'm tryng to get the Username to be remembered on internet sites that require log in. Is there a toggle for it in the settings?
Thanks

Hi
I've checked every corner and did not find what you're looking for. However there are alternatives to the stock Internet Explorer.
UC Browser is one such browser and has a few more features added compared to IE, it also has password and form auto-complete.
Cheers,

My webmail saves my username, but my bank doesn't.
It may have something to do with each login page's setup.
JJ

Every site I visit has the same behavior as PC Browser. Facebook, Hotmail, Google never ask me to inform password again. Can't understand exactly what you want.
Is it a Chrome/Firefox behavior your expected?

Problem viewing email messages

I suddenly am unable to view my email messages. I can download them, and they show up in the inbox, but when I click on them, nothing happens. I have three email accounts (Comcast POP3, gMail, and Hotmail) and have used them for years. I did make only one change in the past week to my phone, and I believe it does have some connection to my problem. I use Internet Explorer Mobile occasionally to visit some secure web sites that I cannot open with Opera. I hate the newest version of IEM 6.5, so I downloaded the older version that came with WM6.1 and that is when some of my problems started. At first, I couldn't open gMail. But Comcast and Hotmail both worked fine. Then yesterday morning I couldn't open Comcast but Hotmail still worked. Now today nothing will open. Any suggestions? Anyone know of a cab for the latest Internet Explorer Mobile 6.5 that I could reinstall? Maybe that might fix the problem. I know IEM isn't very popular, but I still need it for a couple of web sites. Thanks in advance.....

[Q] How to switch between APNs automatically?

Hi,
I'm looking for solution to automatically switch/change APN according to the URL in Web Browser. Is it possible? (and how?)
I've checked Tasker (maybe using widget that will set specific APN, open URL in browser and after closing sets APN back to different one?), JuiceDefender and APNdroid webpages and forums without success.
The reason is that my Service provider offers some wap services accessible only via APN with special settings that is not usable for normal web browsing, email sync etc.
I'll welcome any suggestions.
Thank you.

I was hoping for the same thing, or is there a mango app for storing, and inputting passwords??
Lots of views, but no answers or suggestions. Can anyone help??
There is no method for remembering passwords in IE9.
That being said, if you choose to remember login information and you allow cookies in your browser, you shouldn't have too much hassle staying logged into places that you have done so. For example, I log in to Google, have the webpage save my login info, and next time I use Google, i am still logged in. Same for Facebook, Hotmail, Windows Live, Twitter, Foursquare, or whatever else. As long as you have cookies enabled, you should stay logged into the sites (unless of course the site doesn't permit such things).

[Q] Is there a mail client where I can set a proxy?

I'm looking for a mail client (for android obviously) where I can set a proxy.
I need to use a proxy to connect to the company exchange server. I could set the the proxy for all of my internet traffic but I don't really care for the idea to route all my data through the company proxy.
Allready looked at K-9 and Kaiten but couldn't find any proxy settings.
"Enhanced Email" by Quantum Apps says it can run pop/imap mail service. Ask on their support forum if its proxies are configurable.

Any update on this?
i'm looking for the exact same thing,
and with the search words 'proxy and android', even with other search words email,
you are drowned out, on google, with lots of irrelevant results...
so that, it took me a long time even to find this post.
I want to setup an email client to connect to my email server over Tor.
Much in the way that I can do that now on thunderbird, using Tor and torbirdy,
I will use Orbot on android....
Any ideas?
Maybe this will work with SandroProxy, app tab where you can redirect traffic just for one app and transparent proxy.
SandroProxy can then connect to other proxy. It's a little bit tricky but could work.
I'm developer of SandroProxy, Drony. There are also other proxies that can do the same.

I wonder if we have any app that natively support this.

[Resolved] [Q] Proxy works on iphone and laptop, but not android

Solution: Apparently, switching from the stock rom to CM9 fixes this problem. At least with firefox.
Setup: I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Player. The wireless network where I volunteer has a proxy on their wireless that requires you to login before you can access the internet.
Thankfully, it's set up so that (on a properly functioning device) any website you visit is replaced by the login page if you're not logged in. After you login, that same page refreshes to the url you originally entered.
Behavior
On my laptop, and my friends iphone, this works just fine. However, on my droid it does not, whether I use the built in web browser, firefox, or opera. Instead of the login page, I get the standard 'page load error' page.
If I input the url for the login page it pulls up just fine, but does not redirect properly after I login. It simply reloads the same page over and over, simply appending (rather than replacing) the url of the site I want to visit to the login page's url. This same behavior occurs if (after logging in) I type a url directly into the address box.
I've tried a few different proxy apps, and configured them to what I think is the proxy (determined with tracert on laptop), but get the same page loading error, even with the login page.
