Hi I downloaded the new official jb 4.1.1 and mobile odin to my tablet Galaxy tab 2 7.0 work great

You flashed it tru mobile odin? Did you lose your data after flashing it? Did u flashed it from stock ics to jb?thanks

Do backup from CWM and then mobile ODIN the stock jb. You wont loose any data but to be safe BACKUP !!!!!!!
It will flash the kernel only mobile odin wont erase data

Help with returning Galaxy Note 10.1 to Stock.

Okay here is the long drawn out story....
Got impatient for JB 4.1.2 to roll out and flashed the German GT-N-8010 4.1.1 onto device....ran great.
Now I want to get my device back to GT-N8013 4.1.2. so here is what I've done.
Flashed via Odin ICS 4.0.4, then rooted installed triangle reset device.
Now first I tried to flash KIES_HOME_N8013UEUCMA3_N8013XARCMA3_813049_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 however everytime I flash it via Odin it fails and I have to go back to 4.0.4 KIES_HOME_N8013UEALI3_N8013XARALI3_1081475_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 Now when I check my status after reflashing 4.0.4 I'm back to custom custom instead of all stock????
So now I tried this....I flashed 4.0.4, rooted, triangled and checked status...all was back to stock. Re-flashed 4.0.4 to kill the root, when I registered for software updates it tells me I'm custom and cannot get updates????
What am I doing wrong? I'm beyond frustrated right now. I have the latest ROM's but I cannot flash via Odin 4.1.2 as it fails everytime. How do I get this done and back to stock running 4.1.2 Please someone guide me like I'm 4

To my knowledge :
0- full reset and wipe cache
1- root your device
2- install samsung galaxy s CSC and use it to change your CSC to your country or the one you want to get updates from
3- triangle away to make sure to rest the counter
4- download the firmware you need again , maybe from another server and make sure it is fully downloaded
5- try it with another version of odin , and make sure to turn kies off ,and make sure you have latest drivers installed .

Why do you need to change the CSC? E.g. I'm using UK stock JB ROM deodexed, does it mean the region has been changed to the UK? Where else can I download the firmware? I'm in Malaysia and can't find the firmware for download.
had the same scenario....german 4.1.1.....i downgraded to the official 4.0.4 (had to wipe cash and restore device during that process as it got stuck at logo)....then rooted, triangle away, all was stock......then waited for ota update.....nd now i have 4.1.2 all stock

[Q] Update Samsung P5100 to 4.2.2 (OFFICIAL) having ClockworkMod

Hi Guys,
Here is my question:
-I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 P5100, and I upgraded it to 4.1.2 (OFFICIAL) via ODIN, and after I installed the ClockworkMod v. 6.0.2.3 using Rom Manager. I later learned that a friend had been bricked their Samsung Galaxy Ace s5830m with the OTA update to 4.0, and everything seemed to indicate that the culprit was the Clockworkmod that he had installed.. Now, it appeared to me an OTA update alert on my tablet (which should not appear, since the current state of my tablet is "modified") in order to upgrade to 4.2.2.
Well, my question is if I can upgrade my Tablet via OTA even with ClockworkMod, or is it better to update using ODIN...

No, but Sammobile's team is working on it. My current 4.1.2 rom is from Hong Kong and I downloaded it from Sammobile :
AP5100ZSDMB2CP5100ZSDMA1CSC5100ZSDMB2
sadly i think the update you are receiving is P5100ZSDMH1 which is an update to 4.1.2 (not the 4.2.2 update)
i will try the update on my tab i hope i am wrong :fingers-crossed:

You could get better help if you would have included your country and the firmware or build number that your current using.
With that said.... goto samfirmware and download the latest firmware for your device. Then use odin to flash the firmware, you should then have latest update and you can then root again.
There are other methodes but I think this is the least complicated.

my note details is added
I know your method and used it a lot via mobile odin, but I used to keep the
root from options, and iam not sure if the new firmware will wipe my note or not if I flash it via odin pc
I read that flashing the stock recovery will unroot it.
I read that flashing the stock recovery will unroot it.
Flashing stock rom removes root .
But latest updates are more likely on XDA or sammobile before Kies or OTA .

I see your updated info except for country that you live in. You may have the newest for your country.
Yes, flashing a new firmware with PC Odin will remove root,.
I have not done it in a while but from what I remember all data remains in tack, just don't do a factory reset.
I do believe that there is a way to install a factory firmware in mobile Odin and keep root but I have never done that method.

unrooting will open OTA update to update the device with 70-80 mb rather than downloading 1 gb

Don't know about knox but the new bootloader prevent firmware reversal so you can not flash it using odin on pc. However if you want to downgrade u can use mobile odin to downgrade as it does not flash boot loader and thus can downgrade your note 10.1 to 4.1.2
But again the bootloader will not be downgraded nor till now any method has been discovered to downgrade it. I my self downgraded using mobile odin and mine is working fine.

Downgrading N8000 from kitkat to jelly with mobile odin pro
I've spent about 24 hrs searching all over the places/trying few methods till i came over Mobile ODIN and How to downgrade NOTE 10.1 (N8000) from Android 4.4.2 KitKat back to 4.1.2 Jellybean
Paid for odin mobile pro. Flashed the sucker initially back to stock rom then flashed with other rom of choice. Not the latest/grandest but I've got full control. Not touching kitkat again for the time being
Many thanks to Chainfire for awesome app!
