Found new annoying Optimus 3D Max bug. - LG Optimus 3D

I recognized that my speakers always make a weird clicking sound, like they were turning on, while I'am using the phone. I't goes like this: I press a icon on the screen and immediately after that the clicking sound from the speakers appears and then there is a rush for about two seconds. I can reproduce this bug nearly 70% a day, but just not always. You can here the rush when you're holding your ear beside the speakers right after the click, but the clicking sound is noticeable even while you are starring at your phone. Maybe some can test that and share their results here.

My Touch pro sound keeps on getting muted

Hello, my Touch pro sound keeps on getting muted by itself, i turn the volume up, it goes up but still there's no sound, every single fucntion loses it's sound, meaning the whole system gets muted, it comes back when i restart the phone!! can anyone help??
The idiots who designed TouchPro (it really is brain dead) put the mute button on the touch screen exactly where my cheek bone can hit it when I put my Fuze up to my ear. Consequently, I frequently mute the call accidentally and only realize what has happened when the person I am calling says, "Hello? Hello?" Very annoying.

[RESOLVED][KINDOF][ICS] Black screen during a call

I wanted to ride the ICS wave but after experimenting with multiple radios/ROMs/hboots/kernels configurations I always got the same issue - while in call my screen gets black and no button will wake it up unless the call is interrupted (by the other side). Haven't found a real solution but created a workaround that actually works pretty well for me and decided to share it with whoever is in the same boat.
APK and sources attached.
I created a simple service that kick in during an active call. If activated tricks the phone into thinking that there are headphones plugged in and the screen is being turned on. While in this more the audio is being redirected to the headphone jack so you don't hear anything through the earpiece but normally I need the screen on only when I want to hang up and either way don't hear anything. Basically works perfectly well for my needs.
After installation enable and configure the service via the simple form. Once done when you get the black screen push the Vol Down multiple times to get the the lowest value and the service will unlock your screen. To get back the audio through the earpiece (and lock your screen) press Vol Up as many times as necessary to get to the max volume.
so is it one or the other?
!!senseless sensation!!

[Q] [Nexus S] Ear speaker mutes constantly when proximity sensor blackens screen

Some kind of weird problem here; everytime i make a call and want to hold my phone to my ear the following happens:
- My screen turns to black (normal behaviour)
- Simultaneously my ear speaker mutes for as long the screen is black
- My screen almost instantly turns on again, turning on my ear speaker too
- This continues to happen as long as i hold my phone to my ear, so my ear speaker goes on-off-on-off-on-off, i cannot make a conversation like this.
The strange thing is, when i remove the phone from my ear, preventing the proximity sensor to see my face and to black the screen, nothing happens and the ear speaker keeps on (so is the screen).
Any idea how this could be caused? When i opened my phone recently, i noticed that there is a ribbon cable damaged (the ear speaker one, i thought it was the (-) side, the (+) is still connected).
Could this be the reason of my ear speaker simultaneously muting when the screen is turning to black? I don't see the relation to those two things happening.
Thanks!
have the same problem with mine, anyone has any ideas?
Same here
I am having this same issue.
It started all of a sudden around June 28th. I submitted a bug report to google approximately two weeks ago and haven't heard anything back. Hopefully, the Jelly Bean update will fix this issue if it isn't corrected sooner.
For now, I just hold the phone horizontally with the screen facing upwards to prevent the screen from turning off and killing the audio.
Official Bug Report
Since I am still experiencing this issue I have posted the issue on Google's Android support. If you are also experiencing this problem please go here <code(dot)google(dot)com/p/android/issues/detail?id=36595>, leave a comment, and follow along as we hope to get this solved.

The audio on my M8 sounds different until I hit home

Hi,
So I've had my M8 for a little while, rooted stock rom. I've been noticing lately that the music sounds kind of muffled and odd when a song starts until I hit the Home button, then it's normal. It does this every time there is a new song playing, happens with both Google Play and Pandora (I didn't try anything else, I only use those 2), and happens with both my Skullcandy headphones and the earbuds that came with the phone, and some other ones that were laying around the house. It doesn't do this when connected to my car with bluetooth though. I haven't done any sound mods or anything. It's driving my crazy!
Thanks!
I've noticed it while playing through my car. I just turn up the volume lol
Changing the volume doesn't do anything for me.
It sounds kind of muffled / mixed poorly (I hear more of the background) until I press the home key.

Speaker intermittently stops working

So I'm not sure what to make of this but sometimes the speaker on the bottom of the phone won't work. For phone calls or music or anything. Earlier I was trying to figure out why and I gently pressed on the middle back of the phone and the sound came right on! What does this mean? What is it going to take to fix my phone.

Click to collapse
The exact same thing happens to me. I can get sound from earbuds, but when I unplug the earbuds, the speaker doesn't turn on like it should. But tapping the phone hard, such as on the back, will make the speaker turn on. Sometimes the speaker turns off by itself, I can tap it hard again to turn it on again. Just started happening in the past week or so.
