[Q] mobistel cynus t2 rom for micromax a110 tvout - Micromax A110

Hi, I was curious about the mobistel cynus t2 from in my micromax.a110 and found your forum very useful but I have two specific questions which haven't been answered in that thread. I tried posting my querries there but I couldn't ( may be because I am a new member). I want.to.know whether the mobistel rom support direct TV out and whether my second sim will work perfectly without 3g. I would.also like to know whether I will be able to revert to mmx ver2 rom if I don't like the Cygnus rom. Also how does the tvout function work. Forgive my ignorance about mobile phones as I hardly know anything technical about mobiles. I am just a curious person and picked up some knowledge about mobiles from internet forums like this. Thanking you all in advance.
Hi again, just installed mobistel Cygnus t2 rom in my micromax a110 and it is working absolutely fine. But nothing radically different from ver2 rom of micromax a110. Though now my phone shows that it is a 12mp camera but nothing different from the original 8 mp in quality. Overall picture quality still below par.
Now my phone shows the TV out option but I have no idea how to connect to TV. Should I use a micro USB to HDMI cable or 3.5 mm jack to HDMI or should I use a micro USB or 3.5mm cable to normal TV out ( the 3 pin connection used in non HDMI TV) ? Kindly help me out and guide me to enjoy my phone contents in TV. Thank you all. Please help.

Dear
its good the cynus rom work well with the MMX phone and phone shows the 12 MP camera. But the quality which i have checked is found to be better with the 8 MP camera, though to some extent the flash has been improved. TV out option is in development phase this same is given with the mobileuncle tool. It can be tried if HDMI tv with 3 pin out....

Hi, can you please explain if I can watch my mobile contents in TV. How do you use mobile uncle for that. I just got my phone rooted and cwm recovery installed though I am not sure why I did it. Probably again out of my curiosity. But I would really like to be able to watch my mobile contents in TV. Is it really possible? Has anyone tried mhl connection. Will it work in my rooted micromax having mobistel t2 rom. I tried the RCA cable. It didn't work.
I don't know why I do what I do, may be just because I can.

Hi everyone, first of all let me thank all xda developers and dileepblog. I have rooted by a110, installed Cygnus t2 rom, cwm.
I have increase the volume output from engineer mode.
Installed seeder antropy and it has actually increased the efficiency of browsing.
Installed Beats Audio. Superb sound on headphones but loudspeakers could not take the heavy bass and so not very nice sound in loudspeakers.
Installed Bra via engine, superb contrast.
Installed Sony xloud , it shows to be working but couldn't feel any difference.
Installed Sony Walkman music player, working but couldn't get the settings like equalizer etc.
How do I get the Sony sound settings and equalizer????????????
Also, I read something about supercharger script. As per Dileepblog I can install it in my a110 but xda developers say it won't work in pics or jellybean. Can someone clarify this???????
Also I read about a v6 supercharger. Can I install it in my a110???????
Last but the foremost, how do I get tvout. Please help as I m getting desperate.

Supercharger v6 scrip works very well on mmx a110. J just go to the supercharger link and download the latest version (its.pdf, but will work, don't bother) also download the supercharger starter kit and follow instructions to install it first. You would need s manger to run the scripts. Download it from market. The phone needs to be int.d enabled for which the easiest way is to install pimp my ROM and enable int.d support.
Supercharger will really make your phone more responsive and smooth

Dolby equalizer didn't work on my a110 running on mobistel Cygnus t2 rom. Beats audio works but sound cracks when bass effect is maximum. Noozy is the best. However, I didn't really find it worth the trouble. I got the same if not better effect from n7 player.

Re hi
It seems I was not getting the noozy add on added properly. After a lot of trial and error, I got it installed properly and believe me the sound output is absolutely marvellous. I don't think any stock player on any phone including HTC with beats audio can beat it. I m not sure of the new Sony Walkmans but it beats my Sony Xperia mini pro to dust. Get noozy though I confess that I m not sure whether Dolby add on is better or not as I could not install it on my phone. It installs bit does not give the equaliser settings. Most probably it is incompatible with a110.

Acid Audio Engine 5.0:
1.Download the file http://goo.gl/ZPEMN
2.Choose any one of following add-ons
AC!D Incredible Bass http://goo.gl/OhkoL
AC!D Dolby Digital http://goo.gl/P1Piz
but the noise is good without flashing dolby addon

Noozy is unbelievable. It's beyond my expectation. No stock player in any other phone or in Google market is comparable to this. Awesome. So many thanks. My phone now become an iPod.

Is there any settings for noozy sound mod

I think the TV out works. If u have an HDMI cable and an MHL adapter please check it.
Go to phone dialer type code *#*#3646633#*#* (Be careful with the settings)
Choose TV out. Connect the MMX A110 to MHL adapter to your phone and then to your TV through HDMI.

i was look on qualcomm web site and i can across this doc saying the chipset has OTG and dolby sound on it https://developer.qualcomm.com/sites/default/files/snapdragon-s3-product-overview.pdf
i wounder if any one can active it
The chip supports USB otg... A custom kernel and some modules would be required to make it work.... Any kernel devs willing to try? I think I have some instructions on how to do it.. (leftover from when I was trying to achieve that on the desire )

if it's anything like the hp touchpad (has the exact same chip) the pins on the chip itself are not connected. in other words a very difficult hardware mod is likely required before software can be of any help.
I think ICS supports a form of USB OTG, since it supports USB devices. Not sure if it supports flash drives.
http://www.zdnet.com/blog/gadgetrev...pport-for-usb-keyboards-digital-cameras/24522
in the changelog of the pyramid 3D rom it does say "> fixed USB OTG" anybody running that rom? i will try when a bigger sd card arrives.
Edit: on ARHD 6.0.3 ICS there is a libusbhost.so but i think that's just ICS's and not specific HTC one

No Driver is required
WTF ???
edit : can they prove that this cable works without any driver ? and kernel support ? how will this work without kernel support ? fishy...
it doesn't deny it. it DOES say "compatible mobile devices". if the i9003 isn't currently compatible, then it won't work, but if it is, it will. that's the way people do things without getting in trouble because they warn you that it only works with COMPATIBLE devices. a clever way to sell things without getting into trouble
so, does the seller actually claim, word for word, that it WILL work on an i9003? if not, then just take anyone's word for it (that knows what they're talking about) when they say tv out doesn't work on our device at this time
"no driver is required" is like my camera. nothing has to be installed for me to view pictures on my tv; it's programmed to work using the rca cable

dont mind :- 1 tip for u alwayz try to tell simply n with short sentence so that with poor english can understand like me........
I don't know how bad google trans mangles things converting all languages, but try this:
the seller does not claim it works on i9003 unless they say "it works on i9003". I will not buy it just to see if it works when others say it won't without a modified kernel.

product description is very clear. They have said that cable helps to show audio & vdo contents on tv. Means if u have mp3, vdo files then only it will show on tv. In real term its not a tv out. Tv out means porting mobile screen as it is on tv.

I tested with car bluetooth (blue5) & I could play video with sound on car screen.
does this bluetooth gadget use the 3.5mm jack? no. will it be helpful so people won't worry so much about tv? YES! do all tv's support bluetooth? NO!
provide a link to the bluetooth device and put it in the marketplace for those that want tv out now, and if they're desperate, they can pay for a bluetooth-supported tv too
for everyone else, a refresher AGAIN is that tv out uses the 3.5mm jack. if only audio is connected ON THE PHONE SIDE of the jack, only audio will be put out, so tv out won't work. I believe it's been said that's how our phone is set up currently.
Are you sure about it ? I'm going to buy one next week , any way I'll feedback
I don't think it's fake, i've read about it in a serious magazine.
These cables are available at your Local Electric shop at a price of 100INR or so.
What these cable to is, port over your MP3 to a sound system.
Or your Video to a TV system.
And, TV-OUT technically means that it should be able to show ANY screen ( Be it games, Apps or homescreen) to you Television set.
And, It needs a kernel which supports it!
One can not just od it without drivers.
If it's so, I would not mind paying a $200
So, This is not Tv-Out, This is only Music & Video out

You can play video with sound.
But, You cant play games which is seen on the TV.
And, I dont think it is worth $5!
You get it for $2 in any Indian Electrical shop.
Obviously, If you use the skills of bargaining wisely

[Q] USB Audio

Your question got me curious.
I tried to connect the Infinity using the 40 pin adapter to an Onkyo receiver thru it's USB media port.
My Onkyo doesn't like the Infinity. The receiver sees a PC or just about
any other media player with a USB port, not the TF700T however.
Be groovy if it functioned properly.
JB was supposed to have USB Audio Out feature built in. Lets hope Asus does not mess with it.

I have connected the FiioE17 on the Transformer tf700. No luck so far. Maybe they have the hardware capabilities and all they need is the OS update. Let's wait for JB.
So far I understood that GalaxyS3 is the only android capable of doing this. Kind of lame
So far my observation is that anything that connects to the 40 pin connector needs a custom driver to run properly. The default USB we have works but barely just. Hopefully with JB we get expanded compatability. Hopefully.
Im not holding my breath.
Three things needed:
1. Jelly bean with USB audio output
2. Android drivers of the DAC you oun (in my case Arcam rDAC)
3. High end android audio player with optional output modes.
Universal USB DAC
You are theoretically right .
At this moment Samsung Galaxy S3 is capable of offering USB DAC Integration (Here is a link)
There is also a petition for Google to develop and integrate an Universal USB DAC in the Android kernel . Take a look of it here
I believe that this can become a killer functionality in the future. It is a pity that people are using a $600 device to listen to the music using a $4 headphone.
Anyone have any luck so far? I am also trying to use my e17 with my tab. I know a few other devices have roms with usb audio cooked in so hoping it might work for us too.
This looks promising:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.extreamsd.usbaudiorecorderpro
Yes, that worked...ish... choppy audio that you have to use the apps player ( if I understand correctly). But it does work. There's a free trial on their site so you can check it out.

have you heard? Am considering getting one of these but usb audio is a must. I searched the ROM threads and saw where some people had asked about this functionality but haven't seen any answers. It's unlikely btw that the E17 would work without that USB recording pro apk but the E7, etc work with other Samsung 4.1 and greater ROMs without any issues. Just haven't seen anything on the Tab 2.

HDMI Output to television

I can't seem to get a working output from my optimus 3d, ( with the hdmi adapter plugged in to my tv)
specs :
Android 4.0.4
Baseband Version : OMAP4430/XMM6260
Kernel Version : 3.0.2.1

Software Version : P920-30a-Eur-xx

Some people have written to try another tv or monitor, or try running a video or something before connecting cable. Mine works on a pc monitor. Not sure why there seems to be an issue with tvs...
Mine works good with big screen tv
I have tried both my full hd television 16:9 and my pc monitor, but there doesn't seem to be a signal
My firmware is v30C (Canadian). I'm in the US. If you can get to Best Buy or some retailer maybe try on some other brand tvs. I have not actually tried mine on a tv, only my monitor. V30C is the first firmware that I have even tried using hdmi. For the pc monitor you might need the monitor drivers installed on your pc if you don't already. On mine I have to press a button on the monitor to change input to hdmi. It's probably the same way on a tv (I assume you did that) So you are on stock ics, not a custom rom?
Custom ROM and ICS worked for me (even though I had to enjoy odd rotation in CM10 :/ but still I don't have problem with my ancient 7 years old Toshiba LCD HDTV which is currently being used as a computer monitor via HDMI).
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda premium
I wonder what the H-E-double-hockey-sticks is the issue with stock?
Dunno, never bothered with sound though - I turned all volumes on my phone down (just so I don't hear the annoying modem tones), and set to vibration but I bet audio may work on CM10, though.
But, here's my takes against the TV; variance of audio chipsets and firmwares. If the firmware isn't even done right (it's common to find unfinished BIOS in all HDTV's built-in computers due to, well, being cheap), there are lot of things missing. So, HDMI specification apparently isn't being strictly followed even though I don't think O3D have problems of following the specification, unless the firmware's whacked. Who knows.
