[Q] Pinterest app on CleanROM Inheritance - Asus Transformer TF700

The Pinterest app allows you to share web pages or upload a pin from a web page. In this process it seems to call an activity that loads the website then overlays maybe another activity that lets you choose from the images on that page to associate with the pin. On cleanrom inheritance, that second activity doesn't come up at all. Any ideas on why or how I could fix it?

Viewing Picasa albums on G1

Hi
I am on JF 1.5.
I was wondering if it was possible to view uploaded albums on Picasa (Google Photo storage system) as i can upload them?
Any ideas most appreciated
Thanks
You can streamline updating by installing Picasa Uploader in the Market...It's free and written by Google.
As far as browsing online, my browser automagically takes me to an Android-optimized page at picasaweb.google.com/m/
If your browser doesn't do it automatically, try that address.

Don't bother with the Picasa app on the market....It will download, but not install. 1.5 has upload to Picasa built in when you press "share" on a photo.
To view, try the url that ohnoezmahfone posted.

opera google results, not taking me to the right page when clicking the link

as the title says,
when i search on google in the built in opera, the browser does not direct me to the actual page, instead it takes me to google definition to the name I clicked on.
its not eve displayed in english.
anyone knows how to solve this?
Is that via the Google search bar in TouchFlo? That one takes you to stripped out versions of the web sites for mobile use and speed, which is annoying since Opera is fast enough already... If so then just use Opera to go to google.com and choose full HTML rather than mobile view, bookmark it/make it the homepage and search from there.

Opera Mobile 10 Thumbnail on Manila

With Opera Mobile 9 will automatically cravate favorite images after viewing the page you want.
You can simulate something with Opera Mobile 10, since it is not supported?
You can manually add thumbnails to bookmarks on the internet page (I can't remember where they're stored - someone will be able to advise you), but it's a pain, and you can't add new shortcuts to bookmarks that you've made in Opera 10 - only 9.7 and IE.
I personally got rid of the internet tab and just put Opera in the top row of my main page of quicklinks, so it's available from my home tab. Since it starts up with the "start grid" (unless configured otherwise), it's equally as good as the shortcuts on the opera tab.
Just a suggestion.

Is there a way to fix the web snapshot for the Internet thumbnail section if you remove one from the windows/temp folder by mistake. Because now it won't take a thumbnail web snapshot if I add to visual bookmarks

Same here but i think you mean windows/thumbnail folder
I deleted the one i had for BBC Football as i didnt like they image and now i cannot get an image to display for that favourite.......is there a register entry or something i need to clear to restore thing?
i think i might have found a way...place your favourite in internet tab, then, in order to have thumbnails, open pocket internet explorer, go to favorites and open web pages (the one placed on internet tab) and let them full load. if you close pie at this point you can see thumbnails in internet tab, tap on them and they will be opened with setted default browser, opera 10 in this case

I think I figured it out about this bookmark thing. I have notice in opera 9.7 that the little symbol next to web address that looks like a box with lines in it is all mess up. Now I don't know what that symbol represents but I think by fixing this it will fix the problem.

TNT Lite 4.1

Ok, I'm on the next ROM flash 4.1 first starting with, as suggested by this site developer, with 2.2 in the ROM installing section.
PRO:
Full Google Market after some work, please review the Youtube video on this if the written instructions on this site does not work.
1. Go to settings, applications, system applications, market-force stop and clear cache.
2. Go to Google services framework--force stop clear data then reboot a couple of times.
4.1 improves on the quickness and stability of 2.4 which I migrated to after having issues with 2.2 and 2.4. Mainly slow scrolling issues and crappy browser, calendar and contacts. Plus, lack of a weather feature and would not recognize .wma files.
Cons:
I'm experiencing some Wifi issues. Wifi is on and appearing to receive, connected to my network yet unable to access the internet. The fix:
1. Go to settings, Wifi and settings, instead of choosing from a scanned network input my own SSID and encryption code.
2. Choosing never for under the advanced settings, wifi sleep policy from the drop down list.
I'm only giving my account so those choosing from the various ROMs will have an idea what they may be up against. Also, some bluetooth issues which I am still troubleshooting. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Biggest issue is they added in 4.1 usb debugging as the first option and with auto connection whether or not you have it checked in settings. Big problem for side loading. It has crashed my laptop Windows 7 (64) at least 7 times. Attempted to input the code in the C:/ prompt however that did not fix the problem. Anyone, any suggestions?
What worked in 4.1 without issue:
Android Market (full)
Adobe Flash 10.1
Adobe Reader
Android System Info
Andromax
Antivirus
Auto Killer
Bluetooth File Transfer
Camera
Cleanoid
Contacts
Desktop Labels
Dictionary
Documents to Go
EasyShare
Facebook
Gallery (found original version called Gallery Invoker in Android Market)
Gmail
Google Maps
Launchpro (with 7 homescreens running in a rotating cube, flawlessly with labels)
Navigation
Photoshop Mobile
ROM Manager
Task List
The Weather Channel (the weather feature was removed from the ROM)
Titanium Backup
TouchRecalibration (the browser fixed and fluid, bookmark to desktop is back)
tv.com (works extremely well)
Twitter
Wikidroid
Winamp
Yellowbook (not yellow pages but both work, but yellowbook is awesome giving you a street view of what you are searching for).
Re: 7 Homescreens--Productivity, Utilities & Tweaks, News & Resources, Communications, Entertainment, Quick Web Launch (for my favorite bookmarks from my browser) and Executive Assistant (which loads all my email accounts, social networking, RSS feeds--all on one screen. I can scroll up and down and see what has come in at a glance.)

Some bookmark thumbnails not showing up in stock browser

Since performing the non-mobile default UA string mod, I've notice that several of my bookmark's thumbnails are apparently unable to be created. This is true for both the bookmarks list within the stock browser and in the bookmarks widget. A few of the sites in question are ESPN, Amazon, and Best Buy. Again these are bookmarks for the full desktop version of these sites (not the ipad version or the "force full site" version of the address) . Anyone else have this experience? Or for that matter have you set up these bookmarks and successfully generated thumbnails (assuming of course that you have also performed the full-website mod as I have)?
so no one has anything on this issue?
I am seeing this same issue on my GT 10.1 running a rom that also has this mod in it. Did you ever solve the issue?
