opera google results, not taking me to the right page when clicking the link - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

as the title says,
when i search on google in the built in opera, the browser does not direct me to the actual page, instead it takes me to google definition to the name I clicked on.
its not eve displayed in english.
anyone knows how to solve this?

Is that via the Google search bar in TouchFlo? That one takes you to stripped out versions of the web sites for mobile use and speed, which is annoying since Opera is fast enough already... If so then just use Opera to go to google.com and choose full HTML rather than mobile view, bookmark it/make it the homepage and search from there.

Opera start page

Is it just me that can't get the opera start page to change? I can set it in the settings to google.com (or whatever) and when I hit the home button it goes there, but no matter what I do I can't get it to open to that page when opera starts up.
Additionally, after I updated my music library with windows media mobile, when I launch opera from the programs menu it loads windowsmedia.com.
When I launch from the "Search the Web" shortcut in landscape tf3d, it launches the stupid yahoo search page.
Someone please help me, I'm pulling my hair out here. I won't both of the above to open opera to about:blank.
(I have searched but I didn't find any mention)
After setting it in settings, you need to make sure that you hit the check mark at the bottom. Don't just hit OK.

Opera Mobile 10 Thumbnail on Manila

With Opera Mobile 9 will automatically cravate favorite images after viewing the page you want.
You can simulate something with Opera Mobile 10, since it is not supported?
You can manually add thumbnails to bookmarks on the internet page (I can't remember where they're stored - someone will be able to advise you), but it's a pain, and you can't add new shortcuts to bookmarks that you've made in Opera 10 - only 9.7 and IE.
I personally got rid of the internet tab and just put Opera in the top row of my main page of quicklinks, so it's available from my home tab. Since it starts up with the "start grid" (unless configured otherwise), it's equally as good as the shortcuts on the opera tab.
Just a suggestion.

Is there a way to fix the web snapshot for the Internet thumbnail section if you remove one from the windows/temp folder by mistake. Because now it won't take a thumbnail web snapshot if I add to visual bookmarks

Same here but i think you mean windows/thumbnail folder
I deleted the one i had for BBC Football as i didnt like they image and now i cannot get an image to display for that favourite.......is there a register entry or something i need to clear to restore thing?
i think i might have found a way...place your favourite in internet tab, then, in order to have thumbnails, open pocket internet explorer, go to favorites and open web pages (the one placed on internet tab) and let them full load. if you close pie at this point you can see thumbnails in internet tab, tap on them and they will be opened with setted default browser, opera 10 in this case

I think I figured it out about this bookmark thing. I have notice in opera 9.7 that the little symbol next to web address that looks like a box with lines in it is all mess up. Now I don't know what that symbol represents but I think by fixing this it will fix the problem.

[Q] Saving web page as HTML?

Dolphin HD can save a web page as an HTML file, but it asks for the filename and supplies a poor default such as "index.html". I wish the default file name could be the title of the web page.
Are there any other browsers that can save a web page as HTML? I do not find this ability in the standard browser, FireFox, Skyfire, or Opera Mobile (unless I overlooked something). Opera Mobile does provide a save, but its in a proprietary format, not what I am looking for.

I think dolphin saves it with the actual filename of the page on the server and as index.html is generally what the web admins have it set to (it makes their life much easier)
By Title of Web Page, I am refering to the title shown to the user and found in the [TITLE] tag. That is how Safari saves a page on a mac.

Yes i thought that was what you meant but that's not what browsers do, they only read the actual file name
When a browser pulls a resource from a server to save it locally uses the name of the file in the server (index.html, contact.php, about.aspx or whatever) because that's how it is identified.
Index.html, index.php, default.aspx etc are the first pages a server serves when a browser sends a request.
The page title you see in the browser's tab is coded in the html markup and is mostly used to identify the page if you have several tabs open but is not the name of the file.

I understand all of that, but Safari on the Mac desktop actually DOES look at the TITLE tag to find a default file name when I save.
I checked the browsers and no, I didn't see a save option either. I suppose because being mobile builds they have to be lighter than the desktop counterparts. On desktop the standard behavior is the filename but some times a browser uses other convention.

[Q] Any way to edit maps on Android?

I can customize maps with both Google Maps and Mapquest, on the desktop, by dragging points. Does anyone know if there's any way to do this on my Note, using any of the following?
1. Android apps (Google Maps, Mapquest or something else?)
2. Desktop website through browser on Android
3. Mobile website through browser on Android
Mapquest offers the option to "click and drag" a point on a route, using their desktop website, but as I can't "click," this isn't terribly useful.
Any ideas?
As a related topic, when I do have a map in the browser and want to copy the URL using the link icon, I can select the link, but the copy/cut/paste options don't pop up.

Google search bar widget, I constantly lose my current web page

So if I navigate to a Web page using the Google search bar widget, and I'm writing a message into some random web sites contact page, I'll get like half way through writing some intricate message, and navigate away to go retrieve some needed info, and if I end up entering a new search inquiry into the Google search bar widget, get the needed info, and then return to the page where I was typing the message,
To my dismay, I immediately become extremely irked to discover that page I was on is now gone.
Of course I know how to access the recent pages list and navigate back to that web page, but of course that intricate message I was typing is now gone...
On the other hand, if I was doing the same task completely using the Google Chrome app itself, I am sufficiently aware that navigating away from a page will cause me to lose anything on that page, so I of course make sure to open a new tab and do my search there, and then return to the other tab to complete the text fields successfully.
However when I'm doing this when I have originally accessed the page from the Google search bar widget, and then initiate a new search from the widget, that page then is instantly lost.
Is there any way to enable a history with any text entered into forms saved for a certain period of time?
Or any way to force the Google search bar to initiate the search using the Chrome app in a NEW tab..?
I'm aware of the "open in chrome" option within the Google app, but this issue generally happens when I forget or don't realize I'm in the Google app, and then get totally f*d
This is already a long enough post, but hopefully you can follow my run on sentence structure and understand what I'm trying to ask.
Am I the only one who experiences this issue? Surely not right?
If anyone has a solution to this problem please share
Im super excited to say I think I answered my own question.
Open the Google app. (Not the Chrome app, but the Google app)
Click your account icon bubble(top right)
Click settings
Click general
Locate option "open web pages in the app"
Unselect/disable that option
Now when u initiate a web search with the Google search bar widget, as soon as you Click a link to any website, it will open as a new tab in your default web browser
Update:
Yes this definitely works perfectly, and if youre reading this and your name is Google,
I would highly recommend this be disabled by default..
what would be the reasoning for this being enabled by default?
I've been getting fked by that setting on AT LEAST a weekly basis for YEARS!
Woo hoo
